Great office. Super friendly people. Jose’ was very efficient and really friendly. Really liked Dr. Pearce. Very detail oriented. Magen helped me decide on my new frames. She was very patient and also very friendly.
I would go no place else. The kindness and professionalism of the staff is awesome. Jose explained everything he was going to do before he did it to make sure I felt comfortable. He cleaned everything in my presence so I’d be relaxed about using the equipment. Dr Pierce explain everything he was going to do. I mean everything. Just excellent people here. I love going here.
I was there back in February staff was great Dr was great. My glass didn’t fit right. But made best of it. Till other day June 28th. They didn’t seem busy different staff.1girl was very nice tried to fix for me but only after I asked the second time. The white lady told me to have a seat. Think she never told anyone to help me. After almost 2 hours I asked if they could fix. (I did buy from there) the white guy was not busy never asked to help. The Dr brought out 2 couples after an hour. So the nice young girl tried to fix she did for the most part Told me the white guy would help. Well he kinda did some mean mugging. Next thing I know he was out the door 5 clock he left never helped or anything dude need to be fired. I will never ever go back if he’s working there.
As a new patient, I was taken care of by Reuben, who checked me in ! Next was Jose, who took me back and tested me.! They both were very professional and made me feel like I was home!!! Dr. Pearce was very thorough and made me feel comfortable! All in all, I’m definitely going back there !!!Thank y’all for everything!!! They had me smiling from the time I got there till I left 😁
Jose was extremely kind and professional. he provided great customer service and was super helpful and friendly. as well as the rest of the staff and doctor too. i will continue to visit !
All the frames are designer and nothing is under $200 seems like. They were busy and not enough help. Steve thank you for getting back with me I appreciate everything. They checked my insurance and apparently I dont have any eye coverage. We were being waited on perfectly but I was worried about everyone else that came in behind us while they waited for my insurance to come through. Thanks again
I was greeted by a friendly employee at the front desk and then Jose took me back to do the beginning of my eye exam. Equipment used by he and Dr. Pearce appeared to be up to date and both were good about explaining process and what the results were. Person that helped with glasses update was friendly but do have suspicions they could have just replaced the lens that had changed, although I dont understand the progressive lense production process.
Jose is FABULOIOUS! Kind, courteous, intelligent, gracious. And Dr. Pearce is THE BEST!!! Period.
Dr Pearce has been my dr for years and does a great job! The tech, Jose, was very professional. He was welcoming and knowledgeable. And during these crazy times, made us feel very safe. Go see Jose at “My eye dr” in lake wales!!!

I have only great things to say about this facility. It had been a looooong time since my last eye appointment and I was taken care of very well. Cynthia got me checked in very efficiently, José was a pleasure to work with and kept me laughing! And Reuben was very kind and took care of me! Even with the biomedical recommendations- I felt safe and the facility was very well sanitized! Go to My Eye Doctor in Lake Wales! Also I can’t forget Dr. Pearce- such a wonderful Optometrist!

Husband went June 30 for eye test. Glasses came n July 23. Had to make appt to get glasses. We will never go there again!
Glasses broke after seven months and because I didn’t buy an extended warranty it’s not covered...wow.Update: Mreyedr corporate called. They spoke to the local office and they agreed to offer the warranty again and replace my glasses. Thank you for putting the customer first!
I have nothing but good things to say about this place! They are very helpful, and they don’t mind when I call 5 times a day asking about my sunglasses.
I tried this place because it was close to home but would never go back. I waited 2 weeks for my new glasses to come in they never called me. When I went pick them up they were wrong. They sent them back and I waited another 2 weeks, no call. When I went to get them I could not see out of them. They tested them and found the Dr had given me a wrong prescription . Now they are making new glasses with old prescription. It has been over 5 weeks still no glasses. I am trying to get a refund of my exam $99.00 but I still havent heard from them,I may have to take them to court. BE WARE OF THIS PLACE
Hmmm well where do I start.i went in a month ago to get my prescription sunglasses reordered and they were ordered! They called me a few days later and said the frame company couldn’t put that lens in that frame... totally understood .So I was told other frames would be in after a few days..... about two weeks go by and nothing. So.. I try to call and no answer no answering machine... nothing! I call back Monday and someone answered Whooot.... nope they said they would refund the money (399.00) and a manager would call me.... it’s been over 48 hours and I have no calls from a manager! Now I’m 1998 I had leukemia and from there had a bone marrow transplant this in turn caused a reaction and I had what’s called graft vs host disease so this attacked my glands in my eyes. Wow this is long... anyways my eyes do not produce any tears whatsoever so they are extremely sensitive and they know this.I am a disabled American vet that keeps on pushing forward to work for a living so I don’t suck off the tax payersYou need to get ahold of me and resolve this or I will have my lawyer handle this from here out!Semper Fi
Went in to see the doctor without an appointment. Front desk was very rude and basically told us to go away the Doctor wouldnt see us because there were already 4 people in rooms (nobody in the main waiting room). Wife had a minor eye injury and we needed it checked out. We had to go somewhere else. Very sad.
I went to see Katie, who is the Optometrist in Lake Wales. She said I had a bad scratch, gave me some drops. Then she said I had to see her for a follow up, I just wanted to go to a specialist. She made me see her with my eye all in pain, and she then made us sit in the waiting room, for over 45 mins. Its been over 2 months, and my eye still hurts. She says my eyes are just dry? I dont believe that would cause this much pain in my eye. So she gave me some drops similar to Visine.. Eye is still killing me. Wouldnt recommend this place. They also lost my glasses last year. But thats a whole other story..
My experience was abysmal. I had several issues. I was sold glasses for a 5 year old boy with frames that were discontinued and was not told. I was also upsold on lense upgrades for lenses which would fit no other frames after these broke. I was under the impression i had paid for the warrentee, but since i had no unitemized reciept i only paid for lense upgrades unknowingly. Yes, i found that out after the glasses were broken. I financially take care of my two children with no help, so this accident is my entire food budget for a month. The manager DID say sorry. Lol so theres that.if you want professional service and customer care...go elsewhere.
Very helpful and informative. Went out of their way to make sure I got my sons glasses fixed.
Not a good experience at this location. I switched over because my doctor went to MyEyeDr and I regretted that choice. Besides the rudeness of the front desk personnel, I was overcharged on my eye exam and they tried to blame it on my insurance. I’ve never had this issue before and I don’t think I’ll be returning. Sad.
Dr. Pierce and Jose are great. The rest of the building staff need retraining.
