Shoddy Follow 🆙After they get your money you may as well forget about any professional follow up. They never called me to inform me my glasses were ready. After 2 additional days I had to go to their (large!) store and wait. And wait. Until I flagged down an employee to assist me. No apologies. They didn’t even do a cursory wipe down of the newly purchased items.

My husband lost his glasses on our vacation and next day within 2 hours of arriving, he had an exam, had new contact lenses, and glasses in the mail to our house (he needs specialty lenses). The entire staff (Michael is the only name I remember, but everyone was great!) was professional, proficient, and pleasant to work with. We really appreciated it!

I’ve been to different places and I promise you that if you got a - prescription of -5.00+ you’ll get the worst glasses ever, I paid for glasses here and re-done them and still haven’t found a solution. I got a refund and the eye exam was not refund, I paid a lot of money and never got my glasses. I honestly don’t trust anyone anymore when it comes to business, all frauds

FABULOUS customer service from the General Manager Mark and the Associate William. They were clear with expectations and were knowledgeable. They did exactly what they said they would and made some great suggestions for lunch while we waited on our glasses.

-Door says Same Day Appointments Available.-We dont have no appointments until next week.There is no organization, in the staff or literally in the building itself. There is so much wide open space inside the building and the waiting area is delegated to being pressed against the door with a single chair available.Youre asked to have your temp taken on arrival, fine. No one stepped up to take our temperature for a while though, so we stood there awkwardly waiting to be acknowledged.Then, the Doctor that approached us to conduct business A) Didnt speak English properly (as in unlearned, see quote at the beginning) and B) kept assuming me and my dark skinned father were separate from my white younger sister. I didnt get their name but it was the tallish one with the freckles. Thats another thing: not a single staff member was masked.Yeah so, not a great impression, fishy behavior. I wont be giving them a second chance.

The way things were set up because of Coronavirus, Amazing!!!! You walk around with a Bin, holds what you want to keep.Every display of glasses has a bin there, for the ones you tried on and chose not to keep to be sanitized before going back up on the display rack.Customer service..? Let me tell you about that, Amazing!!!The Doctor..? Let me tell you about her, Amazing!!!! She did not rush, answered any question that I hadI was very comfortable. I would not go anywhere else for glasses.

I have been there twice over the years and I have always enjoyed the staff located at the Palm Springs, Florida location. Sales associate, William at store 8201 has always been pleasant to work with. He is knowledgeable about the products and makes you feel like family. I know it sounds weird but he does. Also his fellow co-workers are just a fun to deal with when Im there. I wont go anywhere else!

The best experience. The person waiting on me was professional and polite Mark Emmaich . he was very busy and other customers would interrupt us he handled it well let them ask a question then told them to please have seat and back to me . I notice things like his fingernails and hands where clean and trim . His appearance was neat and hair brushed. When a senior employee took him from me he did so with out hesitation That senior employee sat where Mark was and address me I asked her to put on her mask she complied she was not happy about about that and was snippy with me . So about a year ago my glasses broke, and I needed glasses asap!!! So I went to eyeglass world, they had this promotion of buy one get one free and so I ended up getting those. I bought a pair with a paste frame and a pair of metal frame. The plastic ones broke and I had to take them back and they replaced them. Recently they broke again from the very same place the first ones broke so since its a drive for me I decided to make the metal frame ones my daily glasses. Worst mistake ever, since its hot outside and I sweat they started to corrode and the parts of them are green now, but thats not the worst, the problem is that part of that corrosion started hitting my nose and they ended up making two big marks on my nose exactly where they hit, now I have to go and buy new ones because Im scared with the sweat and all of the corrosion Im going to get an infection. Never again!!!!

This place is the absolute worst!I mean, the people are nice, the eye doctor is amazing, but they are so poorly organized that my appointment and just ordering my glasses took over 2.5 hours-I missed 2 other work appointments because of how long this took.If you are short on time- definitely goTo a different location.

Totally inexperienced in their work.Very bad customer service and very disrespectful, irresponsible.They promise things that do not meet the agreed time but above all, it has a bad waiting service, in addition to vr that you come with children and they are not interested, more than 20 minutes waiting for them to tell me that they cannot attend me.I mean, I asked before entering if they could attend to me today and they only told me if of course come and make a space to put it and simply for the pure ones, since I waited for them to tell me that they could not attend me. Besides seeing that I have a 4 year old girl with me.

Originally went to Visionworks in Boynton Beach and had some serious sticker shock. Drove over to Eyeglass World in Lake Worth and was greeted by an extremely friendly staff that showed us several options for the glasses that we wanted to purchase. William (Libra) was extremely thorough in explaining the difference between a regular reading glass and progressive glasses. In the end we wound up leaving with two pairs of glasses on the buy one get one free which was similar to that at Visionworks and saved over 50%. Plus we can pick up the glasses on the same day as opposed to waiting 10 days to two weeks.

Best prices in town for sure, very helpful staff knowledgeable. Glasses done in same day. Quality frames of all kind & Budget👍👍.Eyeglass World really does care for you.

I did not have a good experience with Eyeglass World Palm Springs. I bought 6 pairs of contact lenses. I tried one pair and they irritated my eyes very bad that I feel pain and my eyes are still red.I went to this place to returned the 5 pair contact lenses brand new left over. A worker man told me they cant refund the money. They never gave me a trial pair to see if these Acuve were good for my eyes. Aweful. I lost my money. They are not cheap. And I will never come back to this Eyeglass World Palm Springs Fl. I dont recommend anybody this place.

Although I felt my prescription was off Abit, it was due to a newly discovered cataract in my right eyeIm still awaiting my second pair of glasses. So far so good. I called and asked if I would be able to get glasses the same day and I was told yes, as long as my prescription is available. I set an appointment. I went in, and found out they were extremely behind and may take 2 days minimum. Prescription was available. I travel a lot and needed to get same day service. Dont tell people sameday service if you know its not going to happen. I walked away from a job and lost money.

As I drove home from work I called Eyeglass World to see what time they closed. The gentleman on the phone said, We close at 7. I asked what time they opened, he replied 9. I thanked him and said Ill see you tomorrow. He asked what I needed and I said I was going to pick up my glasses. He said, Ill be here for awhile, come pick them up. It was 2 minutes to 7 so I said, No, Im sure its been a long day, Ill come tomorrow. He said, Ill be here for awhile, knock on the door and Ill open for you. I thanked him and said Id be there in 10 minutes. He asked my name so he could have my glasses ready. 8 minutes later before I could even knock on the door William opened the door and greeted me by name. I thanked him a few times and said, Youve made my day, no my week, no my month, probably my whole year so far. While trying on the new glasses, he tightened the arms on the old pair that I didnt think was possible.I thanked him again as I told him I work for Feeding South Florida Food Bank and weve been so busy due to COVID-19, I meant to get by earlier in the day. I explained that I really needed my glasses because I am an order clerk and on the computer most of the day.He told me that Eyeglass World was holding a food drive at many of their locations and they hoped to collect 200 pounds. I thanked him for the wonderful job they were doing and how there is such a great need for food at this time in the pantries, soup kitchens and other partner agencies we serve in our quad county service area.At Feeding South Florida one of our core values is Service above all else as our CEO and Executive VP like to say. Having worn glasses for the last 45 years, I have seen my fair share of eye glass places. Without question, this Eyeglass World, was the best experience I have had to date. I will drive the extra 15 to 20 minutes if it means getting the customer service I received there. In particular, the customer service provided by William to me is what made this experience a positive one. and it wasnt just me. while I waited, I heard him speak to an elderly man, a former fire fighter from NYC, about what the gentleman needed to do in order to save money. He was kind, patient and informative with the man. He seems to genuinely care about his customers. Rare to find in this day an age.

My mother needed eye glasses one week before going to India. She has a very high Rx and other companies informed me that it would take at least 10 days.Eyeglass world ordered the lenses and had the in house lab cut the lens for the frames which is not something they normally do with that high of a Rx, as it is normally outsourced.Not only did the lab cut the lens to the perfectly but they did it in a short amount of time to ensure my mother had her glasses before we left the county!Thank you eyeglass world for accommodating our needs in such a short notice. You went over and beyond!I highly recommend Eyeglass World to anyone who has contact or eye glass needs!

Make sure they are your number concern... its as if it is our privilege to have walked in their store and give them our money and receive sub-par service. You are definitely not their main focus... Im filling my script this time around and will NEVER return to any of the Eyeglass World again. Go somewhere else.UPDATE 03.2019The manager and the staff has proven themselves for focusing on making sure my needs are met. It was a pleasant experience on the following trips. The store also provided me with a pair of reading glasses free of charge and they worked well. However, the progressive glasses, its fit and my vision when wearing them are still not ideal. I have stopped the normal daily wearing, instead I am using one pair as backup when not wearing contacts. I am wearing the contact lenses and that will have to do for now. Thanks for trying.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. THEY REALLY CARE. I bought two pairs of glasses 3/7/20, and worked with Miriam. She took care of every detail, made valuable suggestions, and made sure I was in and out in a timely fashion. She knew that I had driven 30 miles from Fort Lauderdale to visit the store. Later (yesterday and today) I had significant difficulties with filing the claim with CIGNA insurance because they could not seem to stop losing the receipt. Miriam and William both came to the rescue again, faxing the receipts multiple times. Both were pleasant and extremely CUSTOMER CENTRIC. These employees CARE! Thank you!

My whole family comes to this location for their eye exams and glasses. We are a family of 7. When we come we are always greeted. We are in and out in little to no time. Always friendly, courteous and professional. Between the new doctor and the great staff, this is a great location for eye exams. They always promise fairly and keep their promises for having frames ready. I went to Stanton optical one time only and regretted instantly. Thank you eyeglass world! Also William is the best!

Everyone has deals on frames so why go here? The eye doctor is the best ive had yet. I can see so much sharper and clearer than ever before. The doctor at this location nailed what my eyes needed perfectly. No getting used to them at all. On top of that the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely return as needed.

We were walk-ins for my 10 yr old daughter on a Saturday afternoon. She needed an eye exam. Even though it was a busy day Dr Shannon saw her in about half an hour. He was very nice and efficient. My daughter needed glasses and we proceeded to the eyeglass area and although it was busy Miriam helped us and had excellent insight to my daughters glasses. She was so pleasant and professional, very impressive. On Monday afternoon my daughter got her glasses. The woman (wish I got her name) who followed up and made sure the glasses fit and all was well also so professional and pleasant. We do not have insurance for this and got a very fair deal on exam and excellent deal on the glasses. My daughter is extremely happy and so am I. Thank you!

In and out in 4 hours.I had a wonderful experience working with this crew and I say crew because I had my hands full with a toddler and everyone stepped up to help me watch him while I was picking out my glasses.From the moment I walked in the door to the very last hand shake from Theresa, I felt so comfortable knowing I was in good hands.The specialist I worked with was named, Jamie and she was a real dream come true. Her advice lead me in the right direction towards picking out both a pair of sunglasses and regular ones. She also helped me balance my toddler as well while I looked through the large variety of designer glasses.I felt prepared going in because I talked with William on the phone the previous day and he helped set up my profile and got my insurance straightened out too.Thank you to the whole team actually, because it was the week of my wedding and everyone was congratulating me. I walked out there feeling like a million bucks.

Very disappointed in the service here. Came in last week had a situation where I needed my glasses fast. They couldn’t do in store so they said they would expedite them. I offered to pay more to get them faster but was told no need. Told me they would call me as soon as they processed the order, guess what no call. Had to call back on Friday to be told yep, they will be here Wednesday. Guess what no glasses. Now I’m told Friday maybe. I’m very disappointed as I sent a referral in Saturday and they walked out unhappy with unhelpful people. I have another friend who went elsewhere on Wednesday last week and got their glasses Monday. Now they say they will call me back and give me a new status...sad when I can ship something to California from Florida overnight and gets there by 10 am but I wait 9 days...get with it. Won’t be back won’t be referring after this.

I was told the optometrist had an emergency and couldn’t make it. My appointment was for 9:45. They told me another optometrist was on her way and would be there by 10:00. Fine. She got there about 10:15. I was the only one in the waiting room. She walked past me about five times, not a hello, not a I’ll be with you in a minute, not a glance in my direction. At 10:45, I finally asked when will I be seen. She curtly said “ someone will see you”. and walked away. I then asked when will that be and she totally ignored me. Rudest optometrist I have ever seen. I then left and gave Stanton Optical my business.I emailed my info to Nancy. See owner response. As of a week, I haven’t received any contact from corporate. I’m glad I took my business elsewhere!

If you want to be ignored for hours come here. I gave this place a chance 2 years ago, eye exam great service, and fast and now the part you order your glasses is a whole nother story. I dont why i came back to get my daughters exam and glasses here last year but took forever to get a hold of someone on the phone. I came in for my exam perfect no complaints.
