Very easy experience. I booked my appointment online, filled out all the forms. I was basically in and out. Then they recommended nice frames, and I was out. I highly recommend completing your paperwork before you get there, made the process so much faster.

Returning patient, made my yearly appointment recently, when I arrived I asked the front staff if they accepted my new insurance (which covers costs 100%). I was told to wait while they check. After about ten minutes I was told “Yes, we accept your insurance”. After my exam I was hit with the regular exam fee of $100. This was partly my fault for not doing the necessary due diligence, however I was told they accept my insurance so I trusted that.I made the appointment to see Dr. Caruso but I was seen by a different doctor because Caruso was not in. My prescription was changed, and I was told they were gonna order a set of trial contacts so I could try the new prescription. I never had an issue with my original prescription but I said ok I’ll try the new script. I never received that trial pack and I was never contacted to pick them up. So basically I payed $100 and wasted an hour of my day for absolutely nothing. I am extremely disappointed because I liked Dr. Caruso and I feel like if she was in, things would have been handled differently.

Optometrist is great, overall experience was not. Appointment was scheduled in advance but somehow dissapeared from their system when I arrived for my eye exam. I had to wait 30 minutes and was rushed through the process.

Visited a Target Optical for the first time today, the one at the corner of Lantana and 441 (Dr. Carusos); Marisol got me ready for the doctor, she was very nice and carefully disinfected all the equipment before using it with me. Dr. Deon Erickson was warm and friendly and didnt rush me through the exam, took time to answer all my questions. Meaghan and Victoria were awesome checking me in and helping me select a nice frame using my vision benefits. The retinal pictures are the best i have ever seen, I always do them as a longtime diabetic, I am very satisfied with the service and value was extra cost but worth it to me. Will definitely return.

Terrible.I was told to sign “COVID papers” but there was one that asked if my eye exam wasn’t covered by my insurance that I would have to pay $39 and so I signed the okay because my insurance does cover a “normal” exam.To then later find out that they did a “eye picture screening” that I wasn’t informed about and was told that “my insurance doesn’t cover that” and I told the lady that I didn’t need any picture screening I just wanted a normal eye exam and all she said was “ you signed the paper” I didn’t need that picture stuff. So ridiculous. My first time going to target optical.. how was I supposed to know what that was and that it would be extra money?They charged my insurance too! And made me pay a copay of $10So I came out of there with nothing and spent almost $50..they were also following me around not letting me BREATHE trying to pressure me to buy glasses and when I said I would think about it she said “it has warranty, do you need any sunglasses?”So disappointed... I expected better. But all they cared about was money.

Dr. Caruso was fantastic! She and all the staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and time efficient. I was in and out quickly with all my questions answered. Will be definitely using this location for my eye doctor from now on.

Horrible customer service from Tammy. So since the pandemic COVID-19 I was scheduled as a new patient for getting an eye exam for contact lenses I heard this location has great doctor I believe his name was Dr. C anyways I’m writing this review as I had to call back myself after the pandemic and ask them if they were open they said yes and they’re seeing patients they never took the time to call back patients to book appointments after it was canceled due to covid 19 pandemic,So I finally spoke to them and made an appointment, the day of my appointment they did not call a day before to confirm as a matter of fact I called them two days prior to my appointment to confirm the time because I did forget the time . And Tammy had said oh you call two days prior I told her yes to confirm the time still as a worker you’re supposed to call your patients a day of especially a new patient to give them the address and confirm that they will still keep their appointment time . however I went to the wrong target optical which I arrived at 4 o’clock at the time of my appointment called spoke with Tammy and told her I was at the Wrong target and she said oh that’s not where were located and she gave me her location and she said oh you’re not going to make it on time. And it was 4 o’clock on the spot I am very disappointed. I map the location from where she told me and it is 20 minutes from where I was that. I work in a doctors office as a certified medical assistant and for my new patients I give them a 15 minute window for any patients in a matter of fact very rude Tammy was all she said was oh yeah you’re not gonna make it on time that is very unprofessional I do not recommend this Target optical due to staff members like Tammy being unthoughtful. So the office calls me back in two minutes Tammy calls again and stated she spoke to the doctor he said he will see me but he’ll see me at 5 o’clock because he has a patient after at 4:30. That would’ve been fine if she would’ve when I called place the phone on hold like a professional does and ask the doctor hey your patient such and such is in the wrong location are you going to see them not be rude about it by saying uh-huh yeah you’re not gonna make it no. A professional she puts the patient on hold and then confirms with. The doctor if he would still like to see the patient.

I was surprised and annoyed that my daughters exam was interrupted so Dr. can see a visiting baby? ( she could’ve saw baby after dilating My daughters eyes, as you have to wait 15 min after drops are put in). patients should be aware that they will be sensitive to light and should not drive . They have a sign that states you will get $100 of prescription glasses, but it only applies if you get the $280 package + frame + exam fee.
