Not an overall good experience there couple of the guy’s that worked there are ok but the one in charge just doesn’t seem like he’s interested in anybody’s business unless they’re a friend of his gun shops usually have eccentric people working there but this guy is just plain weird and lazy

While Heading out of state the day of a hunting trip I realized I had lost a grommet on my scope mount rendering the scope useless. When passing through Lakeland, I decided to stop by here on the hope that they may have the part. Gabriel took the time to go search in the back and was able to find the exact piece I needed, which avoided me having to completely replace the rings. While I was here, went ahead and got a cpl knives sharpened. Quick and easy. Great service, great prices, and puts a great edge on a knife. Much appreciated!

Nice store. I had trouble taking a Ruger mark 2 apart to clean. Not an easy one. These guys did for me in a timely fashion.I will be back to do more buisness.

Ive known the owner for a good few years now. He is a great Christian guy. He simply wants to provide products that support our 2nd amendment right and make a living to support his family while doing it. Ive bought guns, ammo and accessories from Gabe and have been completely satisfied with every purchase. He is very knowledgeable with his product and will give you honest information. Ive been to a few other gun shops around Lakeland and when I walk in I feel like Im at a car dealership being hassled to buy an overly priced gun. Rapture Guns and Knives is not like that. This location is really close to where i live and i was interested to see what they had and see if i could pick up some ammo and possibly some accessories. Walked in, there were some guys just standing around chatting, not one of them even so much as acknowledged my existence.Place was dinky and small and looked like everything was just thrown on the shelves haphazardly, bunch of junk all over the place. It felt like i was walking into crazy earls junk shed more than it did a store. No one greeted me, checked on me, asked me what i was looking for or if i needed anything despite being in there for about 10 mins walking around obviously trying to find things. I left without anyone there so much as saying a single word to me.Guess these guys dont like money, because theyll never see any of mine.

My preferred place to pickup any militaria. 10/10 customer service. The owner Gabriel will always have my business. Thank you!

Absolute joke of a representation of a professional gun store.the entire store is in absolute disaster, nothing is organized it looks like a 5 year olds bedroom,extremely over priced on everything, used gun selling for full retail when there is clearly gun powder residue on the weapon from use and scratches on these weapons.This shop is taking advantage of the public in times of turmoil, especially ammo prices, you can go down the street for the same ammo and buy 20 to 25 dollars cheaper.Staff members are unprofessional and amateur at best.Food all over the counter gun parts everywhere completely unorganized and everyone there is just happy with the way things are, TRASHY.I hope your real proud Gabe of your public appearance.

I always try to support local family run bussiness. This place is like the old corner gas station, where people just like to stop In, grab a drink see whats new & grab something if they need it.Great little local family & friend gun shop. Lots of new & used guns to choose from. A full service shop that carries Lots of different supplies it also has a good selection of knives and tactical gear. I’ve been going there for years and they’re very helpfu, l if they don’t have it they are always glad to order it for me.Always seem very fair on trade ins or buying used guns & great consignment prices.It looks like they’re trying hard to keep a good selection of ammo, especially Nowadays when that’s difficult.Gaberal & Tom know a lot about guns & ammo, and always seem to enjoy Helping new buyers & shooters make choice based on what they want or need. Instead of what makes the biggest sale.

This will definitely be my all stop shop for all my firearm and accessory needs. Great staff with a vast knowledge.

Out of towner, stopped in to pick up gun case for my AR-10. Very helpful staff, the gun bag I picked up is EXTREMELY versatile and excellently priced. Will definitely stop by again next time I’m in town.

Came by to check stuff out around 11AM as other gun shops were pack and out of stock. No one was in except 1 customer and we never got a welcome or acknowledgement. The heavier set guy was talking to the customer and Eventually it went to whispers. We really wanted to give this place a shot to support local businesses and because of them claiming they’re Christian etc but now we can understand why there was no customers compared to the few shops we check before and after. The sad part was...everyone else after us got acknowledgement...

I walked in and was greeted immediately. I purchased Truglo sights for my Glock 48. They installed them right then, and thats hard to find. This shop is fantastic!! Ill be back again.

Decent people to deal with. Best place in town. I think they have good security why should they tell you security details ? Good selection of guns. Great consignment rates. Good reloading section. Gunsmith, knife building, stuffed animals, military stuff. The got a lot packed in that little space. Friendliest people to deal with. Way better than any place in town. Probably due to being younger and not so greedy and moving more guns. You never know what will come in there I have seen some good stuff here. I have bought and sold here.

I have gone to many shops here in lakeland not once have i felt so unwelcome as i did going in this shop today they could at least pretend to not be disgusted by African Americans i heard something of this nature from my husbands friend yet we decided to not judge from someone elses experience well it took less than five to experience it for ourselves we will never return although Im sure that gives them pleasure

Gunsmith in house, very knowledgeable. They definitely went the extra mile to prep a rifle for me and even gave my son a toy. I will buy from them in the future and have recommended them to friends.

I walked in and was completely ignored. There were 3 guys at the counter and no customers in the store - maybe racially motivated. As I was leaving and people were walking in, they were greeted. From what I saw in my time getting ignored, the prices for handguns was $100 to $200 higher compared to other locations. Maybe they negotiate price down but I wouldn’t know....

Nice people down to earth guys Gabriel and his coworker are cool as the other side of the pillow enjoyed my experience with there shop sold my ras47 and he gave me what I wanted for it good visit on there 6th anniversary

My favorite gun store in central Florida. I refuse to go anywhere else for a transfer or accessories. They also did a fantastic job at an excellent price cerakoting my 870. Great guys all around.

Final decided to check this place out couple weeks ago heard good things . So stopped buy to browse, prices where good but during the 20 or so minutes I was never greeted or acknowledged, but over hearing the rantings of a heavy set bearded fellow behind the counter they do not support trump, nra, or local law enforcement and thats putting mildly! the radical ranting was enough for me ! I was offended but thought better of saying something and just left. this guy shouldnt be anywhere around guns much less selling them from what i overheard . not sure if a.t.f. does psychological evaluations to own a gun shop but maybe they should !

The experience was great and the staff were awesome and very helpful finding me the right gun all the way down to the specs of every gun that i pick up i will be back for another gun in the future and i highly recommend these guys to anyone. Thanks again.

This is one of the best Gun Shops around. Great, helpful, nice people, with very competitive prices. Always great deals. Good selection of magpul and rifle accessories.

To make a long story short. I purchased my first gun (Glock 43) and the whole process went smooth. I personally did business with Gabriel and will be doing so from here on forward.

Nice family run business. Great selection and locals. They fixed my Mossberg 500 and its up and runnin again. I had quite a bit of parts missing and they were able to order em all and get it together shooting again. Thanks to the team here.

I moved to Lakeland from Long Island in 2015. Rapture Guns & Knives was the first gun store I visited, as I had always wanted to own a hand gun and have a CCW permit. Both of those are next to impossible to get on Long Island. But I bought my first handgun and got my CCW permit all within my first week as a Lakeland resident, thanks to these guys.I have been going to them for my gun purchases and repairs ever since. They treated me like I was a regular the first time I visited them and they didnt make fun of me or the AR-15 I asked them to de-new-yorkify because it had a ridiculous looking stock on it that made it look like a paintball gun...that was the only way to make it legal in NY.I have found everyone there to be knowledgeable and always friendly towards me and since my first visit I have become a regular.I recommend these guys highly!

The guys eho tun this shop are some of the best to talk yo. And they have a very wide selection of firearms and accessories. They even get some old amd hard to find guns fro time to time. I genuinely enjoy ebery tine I walk in there, weither it be for ammo, or just to browse the selections.

Went to repair my shotgun GREAT costumer service very knowledgeable they go the extra mile to make sure things are right and explain very clearly on all the products fixed my shotgun and told me no charge it was an easy fix they have earned a customer for life I will go nowhere else for my gun needs
