Took my wifes 2500 diesel for an air bag recall. The staff was friendly and informative about what was about to happen to her ride and about how long it would take. Lots of personnel scurrying about cleaning passing papers and answering phone calls. The waiting room was large with magazines to read as well as a television to watch. They were pretty much on the button about the time with them actually finishing slightly sooner than anticipated.
I must say, Regal Automotive is truly phenomenal and professional. I purchased a 2018 Honda Accord Touring 2.OT and it was the quickest car purchase Ive ever experienced. Most of my deal was worked out through email and when I arrived at the dealership, the car was already pulled out. After test driving this beautiful ride, all that was left was to complete the paperwork; I was in and out in an hour. Shout out to Shane and everyone else at the dealership!
Typical dealership putting their bottom line first. Recommend you do your homework before you negotiate.And it is in the applicable fees that the dealer will sneak inexplicable charges.
I was very interested in buying and showed up prepared. Everything was going fine until it was time to talk financing. I was given a breakdown of what my estimated monthly payments would be and the numbers seemed a little high so I asked what APR they could offer me. This seemed to be a problem. The sales guy leaves to talk to the finance guy several times and says he doesn’t have access to that info and that the computer inputs all the data. I keep asking what APR they can offer and the sales guy wants me to sign a stack of paperwork “that we can rip up later” so that I can be told what rate will be. Close to an hour after this back and forth and waiting the finance guy comes in and gives me a range. It’s high so I thank them very much for their time and say that I need to think about it because I’d like to see what my credit union can offer. I get to my car and am just sitting down when a man that I hadn’t seen before comes strutting over and physically blocks me from closing the door asking me “what’s the problem here.” I told him that I’d like to leave and he says “well I guess you don’t want the rate I was going to offer you” with all the attitude of a surly teenager and slams my door. It was the most unprofessional experience that I’ve had in my life and to say that I was made to feel uncomfortable for wanting to weigh my options is an understatement. This was more intimidation than sales tactic but maybe I’m naive for expecting to be treated with respect at a car dealership.*Update: I’d love to see the security footage of someone following me to my car and hear the audio to go along with it.

My husband and I purchased a 2014 Chrysler Towne and Country on 8.26.2021. IT took all the money we had. My husband is in a wheelchair and I have MSC cancer and am beginning to lose strength picking up wheelchair stuff.It broke down 13 days after we bought it and. They came towed it away an fixed it. They have it a week not too bad.Two weeks later we went to Bushel and stopped for lunch and took put grandchildren home. The next Saturday we were going to get my husbands hair cut and see my mother who I haven t seen on three months due to Covid.The van broke down again and I had to move all his wheelchair stuff to my smaller car.I called Regal got a little run around and they said oh you put two hundred miles on it since we fixed it the first time??!! Well first of all ite 30 miles from that dealership to my house Bushnell is about sixty and dropping off our granchildren another 10. He has the nerve to as me if I had AAA this van isbreaking my heart and they. Dont care. They did say they would come on Monday and tow it back. Is it possible to buy a car and it not breakdown every two weeks!!! I just hope and pray that is really gets fixed this time and I dont get yelled at for using my van

This morning when Daniel left me a voice message confirming a visit to inspect a car I had inquired about, at a certain time that I never agreed to, I called him back to inform him that in spite of this fact and out of respect to him and the dealership he represents I will take the one hour trip but will be an hour later. the least Daniel could have done was to make sure that there is a car to show !!!Daniel asked Victor to show me the car, however, was showing a different car that was not the same color, just been bought from the auction, with all the white auction markings on the glass, dirty with a big yellow spot on the white leather seat and $6000 more expensive. I showed Victor the car I drove one hour to see, he said it was at another Regal dealership. I did agree to go there to see it nevertheless only to find moments later that car had been sold 2 days earlier. .Thanks for wasting my time and gas money Daniel and for not being bothered to walk out of your office for any apology.

I still think this place is awesome if you make it that way. I recently had a less then awesome experience they did not perform the service I requested and I didnt know it until I was on my trip to Indiana. I did come back expressed my problem to their service manager and he gladly gave an apology. I expected more. So I subtract a star from my review for that. Make it right next time. You charge $180 an hour. Do the work your customers ask you to.
For years we have not used Regal due to a previous incident. But both Doug Maynard and James Henry were excellent this time.

On October 3rd 2020 I had my 2017 Sierra 1500 serviced at Regal for an oil change, tires rotate and balance, and a new cabin air filter. When they got done I got in my truck and noticed that the ac fan was making a loud and rough sounding noise that I’ve never heard before. I told them my truck has always been quiet running and it did not make this noise before I brought it in for service. So they took it back to maintenance and they told me they blew out some leaves from that area and it should be fine but when I got in my truck again it was making the same noise so they took it back again and this time they told me there was nothing they could do about it. I even rode home and went through all of the AC settings thinking it might get unstuck but still makes the same noise after sitting for a couple hours. My truck was perfectly fine and made no odd noises before I took it on October 3rd, 2020. I have always kept my truck up to date on service. I need an explanation or something. I can’t buy a new fan and leave my truck with them for a week like they suggested. It seemed like they were super slammed and trying to rush through cars that day. I am extremely upset because I love my truck and take pride in it.

He is kind, friendly, efficient, and I never felt pressured!! He was so helpful before AND after the sale. He is still working on a few things I requested. So awesome. Who does that?? We purchased a new car from Regal in 2015 and were very happy with the vehicle but the experience of the sale was so so. I have totally been won over and cant imagine going anywhere else for my vehicles! Ask for Jordan, you wont be disappointed!!
One problem...they no longer vacuum out your vehicle for free. This is a deal breaker for me. I could go to Winter Haven Honda, as they have never vacuumed as far as I know. So I was going all the way to Lakeland because when you got your FREE car wash you got your FREE vacuum and tires shined. Well...not anymore...your car wash is free, but if you want a vacuum or your tires shined you pay for the Premium car wash and you get the car wash, the vacuum and your tires shined. If memory serves they charge $11.99 for the Premium car wash. They told me it is because it slows them down to do all of this for free for every vehicle. And people dont want to wait, they are in a hurry. But my thinking is, if I want my car washed and you are doing that anyway, I can wait a few more minutes to get the vacuum and tires done. They just want to make more money, as if they dont already. So they have decided to charge for the big package, which really isnt t that big. I am discouraged by their decision. I realized if their offers are no better than the offers at Winter Haven Honda, which is closer to me, I might as well consider going there. We shall see how I feel the next time I need my oil changed. Oh...and usually I get charged for an oil change and tire rotation between $20 & $30 with a coupon that I usually will have, and I realize because of Covid prices everywhere are increasing, but they charged me $60. !!!! I have given them a big ol 3 stars!!!

After an accident 3 days before Christmas, I lost my beloved Scion. While 12 yrs old, it only had 26,345 miles on it! With the small amount the insurance gave me, I started car shopping on-line and found this vehicle at Regal by the stadium in Lakeland. After doing as much research as possible, it checked all my boxes. We went to the lot, looked at everything, asked all the right questions & test drove this red, 2004 Toyota Tacoma. After much negotiation, I paid cash & drove the truck home feeling pretty good. If I had done the review then, they would have gotten more stars, but I waited & 1.5 weeks later, the Check Engine light came on. I addressed this situation, the light went off & I thought I was done! Wrong, a week later the light was on again!! This time its much more in depth & I cannot afford the repairs. All my fears about a used car have been realized. I am an elderly woman on a fixed income and cannot afford this!! I am heartbroken, did not even get a month of driving this vehicle without problems!!!

Drove the whole way from PennsylvaniaThe truck was not clean like I was told And the financing was a disaster after I repeatedly asked of it was done. Truck was only a year old and only had 9k miles. Drove it home after getting 9 hard inquiries on credit report. Needed a new front camera and three recalls done as soon as I got home.If it wasn’t halfway across the country I would’ve asked for my money back.Stay away

Sales person seemed great at first. Then didn’t return my calls, but we did finally agree on a price and then the next day the price changed. Wasted a lot of my time with old school sales techniques. Definitely not focused on customer experience or transparent pricing. I contacted another dealer and purchased a new vehicle after receiving a solid transparent quote within 15 minutes via email. There are some great dealerships out there with professional sales teams that focus on customer experience!

Horrible experience, sales people don’t return calls. Sales manager is completely incompetent. I’m preapproved through my bank and was looking to purchase now while prices have dropped some. Sales guy had all my info and we were good to go on a vehicle I picked. I call to ask a question and can’t get the salesperson so the sales manager took my call and changed the purchase price of the vehicle. When I asked what was going on he started fumbling and said their were fees that weren’t originally added in the email quote. Mind you I asked 3 times for the out the door price with taxes etc. Provided my information accordingly and verified. So I asked for a break down of the fees that amounted to $4000 more and he gave me fees that added up to $2700. When I asked about numbers not matching he started talking about them possibly closing due to the virus. Bait and switch in this day and age doesn’t work anymore. Too many dealers out there looking to make a sale for a fair price. So I had to start the process over but found a better deal a little further away with no bait and switch nonsense. I don’t generally post reviews but them wasting my time agitated me. Buyer beware ..

If just buying a car and making a deal was the only part of the car buying experience I would rate this a five star. Unfortunately its not. My wife and I bought a used vehicle. The very next day, the suspension light came on....that was over 3 weeks ago. I have called, left messages, emailed, chatted with somebody on their website, even sent a Facebook message. Crickets....Nobody has responded. I guess the next step is just driving from Tampa to the dealership, hoping that someone can help me.
Brought my car in for service after making appointment. I was greeted immediately and told my car would be checked within 45 mins. I received a call less than an hour later saying my car would be ready in 30 minutes. My car was ready and fixed when I came to pick it up. Great service, very friendly staff.

I have the usual complaints:was there for hours, started with the whole the salesman going back and forth from the managers office to me in order to strike a deal, and having to wade through all the warranty/gap insurance decisions. HOWEVER, Carl made it a very different experience. I called in advance more than once to weed out some of the stuff that would have made the wait much longer. He was very up front with me. I am not sure why but I have been to a few other dealers and the vehicles I test drove were filthy and one had an change oil light on. All of the cars on the lot were well taken care of and very clean. I was able to obtain a little history on my vehicle and even while the stupid haggling was in progress the desk manager John R was very professional and non pushy and smiled! While we waited for my husband to sign paperwork Carl was very pleasant and conversational and kept my children and me as comfortable as can be. I have been researching prices and quality with in a 200 mile radius and this dealership offers good deals on used cars. I drove well over an hour to get there. I am a happy camper with my choice. Carl was outstanding and I plan to tell others!
I highly recommend Chris Boswell!! I came to Chris about a year ago after being referred by a few friends. I was looking for a smaller vehicle that was better on gas & a cheaper payment. He was extremely helpful! Since I purchased my used Honda Accord from him, anytime I have had a question or issue he has continued to guide me in the right direction. There was no pressure in the least at anytime. He presented everything in a very straight forward, not confusing manner. All in all, my experience was absolutely wonderful. I didnt feel like I had to be on guard at every corner, for fear of being ripped off...Chris is trust-worthy and helpful. The car was clean and in new condition with low miles. Owners manual was not included so Trey made sure we received a new manual complete with case delivered to our home. Thank you.

My family and I just moved to Florida a few months ago with my beloved 2001 Camry. Unfortunately she finally gave out and my family was left without a car. We planned to get it fixed, but for the cost of the repairs we decided to look at just getting a new car. I automatically knew to check Regal out because as I drove to and from work I always pay attention to peoples cars (I know its kind of weird). I saw many people got their cars from Regal. I called after finding a decent car online. I worked with Eric K and he was so awesome. I didnt know anyone down here at all to ride me up to the dealership so he helped me over the phone and got everything ready for me when I could finally make it in. I actually ended up getting the Kia Soul which was the car I always wanted. I felt comfortable with the staff at Regal! I want to especially thank Eric and Jonathan for helping me in such a crazy situation. Car broke down Friday, I had a new car Saturday morning! Thank you Jonathan for searching out an even better payment and warranty plan. If I ever get lucky to be in a situation where I could purchase another car, I know where Im going no matter what city I live in!!!!!

Was approached by Sean afterwords who was great. Also Douglas Shane and Darrel were great and a huge help. Was told the 3 guys were managers at the Honda building. You 3 guys SUCK. I was interested in purchasing a vehicle had it not been for Sean I was on my way OUT.

And do NOT use their phone number to illicit unapproved sales calls.Having an out of state phone number, this company bought area codes and exchanges that are not in Lakeland. Just simply unnecessary. False business practices, why would I spend thousands at a company where their first interactions are loaded with smokescreens.

I went to the Regal near Tiger Town, told Joe Rios what I was looking for and within 20 minutes he was showing me 6 vehicles in my price range at the Regal near Lakeland HS. Joe didn’t push me to go above my budget and was very knowledgeable. When the vehicle we purchased needed to be certified, he told us we could go home and he would let us know when it was available. As soon as it was available he called us, but unfortunately we couldn’t come up to get our vehicle. He said no worries, and brought us our vehicle. Very impressed by Joe and highly recommend him!
