I just purchased my 3rd Vehicle from Regal Lakeland. First car 2007, second in 2010. And the same sales representative for all 3. Ive never been handed junk, and if you know what your shopping for, and market value. They are not going to try and rip you off. And there inventory is large and diverse.My complaints would be;A.) It took long enough to get through the process from beginning to end, that I started having a sugar crash, (literally.)B.) When I asked to see the maintenance discrepancy list when the car came into inventory. I was showen the Dealer Pre-Certified Placard.C.)They let the headlights for me to polish, (thats cheap.)D.) Given 1 Key... Apparently the Guy comes in around 11, and it coast about $100. Call me cynical; coming from the Aviation industry, the standard practice is a maintenance log to be reviewed by the prospective buyer. This is important to me because this car comes with heated seat and I have a bad back. But sadly, the driver heated seat doesnt work. Sucks is the only word I can use publicly!!!And personally in my opinion, If you cant, dont or wont; polish the glaze off the headlights, hand a buyer a second key, but yet sticker my car with your logo and I have to sit around for hours (4.)I find that cheap!Anyhoo I probability go back for my 4th car, next time Ill pack a lunch, watch there show off, check the heated seat, and make sure I get 2 keys, lol!
I had purchased the 2013 Buick LaCrosse from this lot, a beautiful car, well conditioned for the most part. But like most used (and even new) cars, a problem had come up. Now this review is for the young or older people who aren’t all there financially but are in need of a car to better yourself financially. I’ll let you know aside from basic coverage, I had opted out of purchasing an extended warranty because it would have pushed me over my spending limits. Some might say they are or aren’t worth it. That is for you to decide. But within 5-7 days. My power steering had completely stopped working. My heart sank. I just bought an as usual car. ZERO warranty. With a most likely debt digging problem. I called all around to local mechanics to get the best advice and all advised me to call the dealer I had purchased the car from. And so I did. Expecting a response saying it was my problem now, I braced for the worse.But that isn’t what I got. I explained my story. My problem. And in turn. They offered to take the vehicle back for inspection, and repair free of charge! I seriously couldn’t believe it. I live in Orlando, and they offered to retrieve my car. From Lakeland! I don’t know any auto dealer in Lakeland willing to do all of this, WITHOUT warranties. This was absolutely the best outcome of this situation and all I can say is thank you. Some might say they over check their credit score and tank it. They checked mine 5 times. But people don’t understand a credit check lowers by one point. That is nothing when looking at your credit. You can make it back in one month.These people are so professional. They don’t push you for any sales and seriously look out for your best interest. If you’re worried about being swindled, you won’t be. You’ll be taken care of. I promise you that!But all of that said. As customers. It’s our job to do our research in the vehicle we buy used. Always watch videos online before you choose a brand of car!And Regal Lakeland. Thank you. Seriously. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Dalton was incredible! He got me in a newer vehicle with extremely low miles the same day I went in! He took the time to show me all of my options and gave me the best one! We had a great experience at Regal Lakeland from start to finish! These guys know how to make a car buying experience pleasurable. Our salesman, Willie, was a no pressure kind of guy. I really appreciate that. Jeff, the finance guy, listened to where I needed to be, told me he could make it happen, and he did! I went in to pick up my car the next day. Signing took about 45 mins. Great job guys! Well be back next month Willie to get a car for my teenager. :-)
Great selection of cars. Unfortunately the car I got need a break change within a couple weeks of buying it and a brake light went out. After a thorough inspection friendly service helpful and good selection but maybe they should work on their inspection skills or quality.

Never have i had a worse experience. Bought a car and a month and a half later when trying to make the first payment they failed to tell us that the loan never went threw. 4 days later we go in to return the vehicle at which point they tell me that the loan has gone through. They claimed the car didnt need an alignment when it in fact does. They wouldnt replace a light bulb that is the wrong color. The employes there all give you a different answer. Youll spend hours on the phone just trying to reach someone with an ounce of intelligence. This place is the biggest joke of a dealership.

I was really excited to purchase a vehicle as they always have a great selection. The salesmen were very attentive and helped tremendously. But when it came time to actually purchase the vehicle with some financing, the lady whom I believe is Amy M. Was VERY rude and made it seem like it was a hassle for me to even be there. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING BC OF HER SPECIFICALLY. Aside from that experience, the overall staff were nice.

I was scammed by Regal. It was a bait and switch. Pulled in by a cheaper vehicle that suddenly became no longer available and then they attempted to force me to get a more expensive one for a higher monthly payment.
Hands down the best experience I have ever had at a dealership! Our salesman Willie Wright made us feel like he really was trying to get us a great deal plus a great car, and still in shock at how fast everything was done. When we go to trade in or buy another vehicle without a doubt we are going back to Regal in Lakeland!

Ryan our sales rep was great and he made every step of my vehicle purchase smooth and easy.Steve in finance was equally wonderful in making the purchase a smooth and uncomplicated experience.I highly recommend this dealership.I would like to mention that the sister dealership on 98 was a huge disappointment. I went there originally to look at a Jeep Liberty after seeing it in their website. I was contacted and set up a test drive for the following Monday. I was told the vehicle would be ready for me to look at and drive. Neither was the case when I arrived from Winter Haven. The vehicle was still parked and covered in dirt. I was handed the keys by a salesman. When I started the vehicle it ran on as if the starter was stuck and the check engine light was on. Later I was told that the Liberty which was up for sale on the website had to many problems and was sent to auction. I dont understand how a vehicle like this was on the lot for sale. Im just so happy I went to Lakeland Honda and found the perfect vehicle for me.Thank you.

I came to Lakeland Regal because I was looking for Tahoe, suburban or Yukon. I found a white Chevy Tahoe but it had really bad driving issues. The engine light went on and I didn’t even have it that long. I was told by the salesman the service check was good. I don’t think their service guy is honest because I kept coming back for the Tahoe with the issue. He told me it was fine but it wasn’t shifting right. I told the manager I didn’t trust the car to drive around with my son in it. I was told I could change the car to something else. They asked me if I wanted a GMC Terrain but I didn’t want that I told them I wanted something big. They could’ve looked at the other places they have for what I wanted. I told them no for the GMC Terrain my son loved the car but it was too small for me. I was told a GMC Yukon XL was just trade in and love the car but it also has issues to it. When I first saw it it had car crash damage on the side and the step to get in on the right is soo broken. I was told the step would take over a month to come in. Now the GMC Yukon XL has AC issues it’s running soo hot that I can’t even turn it on. I’m very disappointed with their services. When you call/txt the sales man their very rude to you. My next new car will be somewhere else that I do trust the people.
I came in looking for a late model used Malibu for my mother. Chris made the transaction seamless and was extremely professional. I told him I was looking for leather he lined up leather seats to be installed at a reasonable price. He had the vehicle cleaned up and delivered right to my door. Brandon and Ken were great work with. We drove 450 miles to buy this Acura MDX after making a deal over the phone. When I ask what it would take to hold the vehicle they said just come on down it will be here for you. After we had closed the deal and were ready to drive off one last check around the car and we found an issue. Ken stepped up and said NO PROBLEM we will take care of it. I highly recommend these guys.

Im not a fan of pressure buying. I was chased down by a pirate hat guy in a golf cart. I didnt even get out of my car. He wanted me to roll down my window like he was the police. I knew this was going to be bad. So i just left. Unreal bad experience before i could even look around. No thanks Sal. Who lets someone do this.
Pedro the finance guy was extremely helpful very knowledgeable and a very nice man. Brandon was our salesman and was very cordial and helpful. We bought a used car and only got one fob but theyre trying to find a second one for us. The car was certified but still needed some cleaning in the back and again the second fob was missing. This is a very nice dealership they try very hard to accommodate and were very accommodating. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat.
After an exhausting day of dealing with bait and switch/come on dealerships we discovered Matt Macdowell. I told him what we were looking for, what we wanted to pay. He found the car for us. He and the rest of the team we dealt with were professional, upbeat and pleasant. And they made good on everything we agreed to. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy another car from them.

Wont be going back if I can help it. Salesman was rude. I told him my budget but he insisted I needed something triple my budget. Then insulted my husband by saying his truck was trash and he was being generous on giving him$100 in trade. We sold it for$2700 ourself and was able to get a car within our budget elsewhere. Look at this truck. No dents or rust. The tires alone cost more than$100.
I pulled into the used car lot today. I was chased down by a golf cart. The guy had a weird looking cow boy hat on. I told him i wanted to look around. He gave me his business card and went to chase someone else down. I couldnt believe what just happend. I knew the customer service would of been terrible off the jump. I left and bought elsewhere. That guy is the reason used car people got a bad name. Cant believe the managers let that go on. Sal sez yes. He should say no to sales people like him. Wont go back any time soon

My wife and I found an SUV on Facebook. We called ahead to let them know we would like to purchase the vehicle, with cash in hand, but it would be a 2 hour drive. Chris McQuestin offered me to put a down-payment on the vehicle but without seeing the vehicle and being screwed over in a similar situation, I chose not to. Mr McQuestin said he would drive it around back for me. We followed the directions from the vehicle ad and it took us to the wrong location so we had to drive 10 minutes to their second location. I was able to test drive the vehicle and was told to put it on my insurance, dont give anyone else those keys, and to head inside to sign papers. When I went in, I was told that someone else had been there for hours trying to get approved so we werent able to purchase it unless they were denied. What a big waste of time! Is there such thing as an honest car sales person anymore??

Yesterday after talking with Meagan and texting with her the entire day to make arrangements to come buy a vehicle I was shocked and disappointed to get a call from Kyle to tell me the vehicle which I was on my way to buy had been sold. My contact with them literally started at 8 am yesterday morning to confirm the vehicle was there. Three additional text messages with Meagan, the last being, “I’m on my way, I’ll be there in the next two hours”. Only to have Kyle call me an hour later to let me know the vehicle had been sold out from under me. I live almost two hours away, had loaded up my one year old and was literally driving to buy the vehicle. Given the chance I would have put a “deposit” down on the vehicle but this option was never offered to me, I’ve since learned from another dealer that would have been an option to “hold” the vehicle. What happened to me was unprofessional and classless. I will use my voice and social media to speak out against Regal Used Cars in Lakeland. I have family in Lakeland and the surrounding areas and will discourage them from ever buying a vehicle from here.
Tracey was a great salesman. He immediately made me feel comfortable (as a woman at a car dealership alone) by joking while being straight forward about what I can afford. I highly appreciated his patience with me because throughout the 5 hours I was there, I probably made him do about 10 quotes for me for different cars. He never complained in the slightest and helped me with any questions I had. Highly recommend.

We purchased a 2011 SRX Cadillac from the used car dept. My only concern about this department was that there was a sign on the door specifically stating wear a mask, but none of the salesman wore one while we were inside. Salesman, Chris McQuestion, did a great job. Service and detailing held us up for 2 hours but we came back the next day and the Service Dept. helped. My husband gives a shout out to the service dept. on the detailing. I purchased this vehicle because of the courtesy I have been given in the Service Dept. to my 2015 Optima. They have always been extremely professional and kind to me (Valeria). My husband and I feel there could be more professional customer service training to the used car dept.

No follow up after the sale other than robotic emails. No returned calls that was left for the sales person. Fixes to the vehicle were never done as written in the contract. As bad as reputation used car dealers have, you would think that the office would not be a run down old building. Please show some pride in your work place. Please return calls to your paying customers. Please do as you say you will.

We arrived at this dealer after being recommend by family members. We were still skeptical, tired, and a bit salty from the whole car shopping ordeal after being traumatized from an extremely bad experience with Lakeland Toyota. (Feel free to read my review of them on Google for the whole story.)Chris, our sales representative was amazing! He was patient, used none of the classic sales manipulation strategies we were well prepared to encounter, and instead of selling us the SUV that HE wanted, he sold us the one that he knew WE wanted, even managing to get our payments into an affordable budget plan WITH a wonderful warranty.We ended buying a beautiful 2018 JEEP Compass, leather seats and all the top of the line features with 25k miles and we love it! I feel safer knowing my kids have a well built vehicle to ride in and I feel great knowing we were able to support a family owned business that treats their customers like family as well.We have a later model Toyota Sienna that we formerly had serviced at Lakeland Toyota, but after our bad experience there, Regal will be the only place we go to for maintenance, repairs and vehicle purchases when were ready to trade that in also.Dont waste your time anywhere else. I definitely recommend going to Regal, unless you have a preference for spending an entire Saturday purchasing a car you had to settle for only to have it break down 1.7 miles later after it was supposedly inspected. In which case, go to Lakeland Toyota or better yet, donate that money to charity instead.
Deceptive. Unethical. Illegal? Agreed on $6600 sale price and then presented with $9800 final price?! How does the price go up $3200 for sales taxe and registration fees? Extra fees!!! The asking price is boldly listed in their ad, but they add in a maintenance cost for preparing the vehicle ($1195), random fees (2x$280), doc fee ($800) in addition to the usual tax and registration fee. They say its listed in the add, well part of it is at the very bottom....Price is plus sales tax, 199.00 private tag agency fee and titling, any dealer installed accessories and dealer service fee of 789.00, which represents cost and profits to the selling dealer for items such as cleaning, inspecting, adjusting new vehicles and preparing documents related to the sale. What a retarded way to do business. Walmart doesnt add shipping and stocking charges when I get to the register. Theyre smart enough to figure that in the cost of the item. Every other business is. How can you trust a vehicle from there when the relationship begins this way?

I am not sure what it was that kept them from attempting to sell us a vehicle, but that is exactly what they did. We were upside down on our vehicle and looking to get into a vehicle that was lower in cost. Rather than tell us what kind of reasonable alternatives we could look at they told us that we either would not be approved by the bank for the lower costing option we wanted or we had to look at a $30,000 vehicle. Those were our only two options. They did not listen to us. I’m so thankful we went to Lakeland Toyota where they gave us the exact deal that we are looking for. The same deal that regal Lakeland denied us for. Sorry you lost a sale, bud. Save your time. Stay away from here.

I inquired about a truck for sale through email. I received an email telling me the truck was still available, and that their office was open until seven that day. I drove an hour and 20 minutes to the location, there was nobody there, everything was locked and didn’t even see the truck on site. I’ve tried to call numerous times and emailed them again and no response. This place is very unprofessional, strongly do not recommend using them
I will NEVER use this establishment again ! I was told my new car with 30, 000 miles needed almost a thousand dollars worth of work that it DID NOT !!! When I confronted them with what the manual stated there was no answer other than this is recommended...Then the service that I did need like fluid top off was not even done!!!! I have never felt so mistrustful of the service that I received !!!! Thankfully my issue was small !!!
I wasnt there to look for a car i was simply dropping off a coworker. They are the text book car salesman. They wanted to sell me a car by all means, it was kind of scary. I kept telling them i was just there to drop someone off he kept insisting that he can give me a great deal. I dropped off my friend and could not leave fast enough. When i am in the market for a car, trust that this place will not be on my list. Way too pushy and aggressive.
Very happy with my purchase I walked in told them I was looking for was a cheap back and forth to work car under 10 grand with lower miles and they didnt try to steer me into something too high for my monthly budget!!!! Very nice salesperson chris and was very nice about letting me drive a bunch of different cars until I was able to finally pick one and the finance manager was very nice and easy to get along with all in all I shoulda went to regal chevy along time ago for my automotive purchases Im very pleased with the experience me and woman had and love my little veloster!!!! 32 mpg back and forth to work low miles rockin stereo and just a very nice car!!!! Bought my 2013 explorer a month ago. 5 days out, the tire valve let go. I was in traffic trying to get over and ended up having to buy a new one. Doug the guy with the hat) assured me that I would be reimbursed within a couple weeks. I have been getting the runaround ever since. I call and text,at times with no response. He tells me hell check in to it but has not. Its been a month now and no updates,no status, just disappointed. Yet when were buying it and they needed utility Bills etc, they blew up my phone. Very poor service once you leave with a car. They got what they wanted now no time to keep a customer
ZERO STARS. I made an appointment to buy a car here with Kelly & Shane. I drove 3 hours, took time off work, spoke to them 3 times on my way there to make sure the car was still available. When I got there, I was told the car just sold! Seriously, you couldnt let me know an hour out that you sold the car? I wasted 6 hours of my time, time off work & $50 in gas. Absolute worst experience I have ever had in my life!! TOTAL bait & switch. Horrible people. AND the manager would not even take my phone call after we left.

We purchased a used kia two days ago from Joe, a wonderful and personable salesperson! We had a great experience- no pressure, easy communication, food and drink for children, etc. Joe and the others were very kind and helpful. He was very knowledgeable and, equally important, transparent. My husband and I couldnt have asked for a better experience, honestly. Called ahead and then came to see a car listed online for $7300. Took it for a test drive and then the games began. They made me wait around for a sales manager to tell me the out-the-door price was over $5000 more at $12,460! I was shocked and asked to see the invoice, which included a $2000 reconditioning fee, multiple document fees and a dealer fee. They tried to tell me the recondition fee was standard at every dealer, but it is not! There are plenty of dealers who have already moved past this dated way of selling cars. I left and found a nicer, newer car, with fewer miles being sold for the advertised price at Lexus of Orlando. I also found nice used cars sold at advertised prices at Mullinex Ford (all locations) and Sport Mazda of Orlando. Do not fall for the bull at Regal! They need to move into the 21st Century and update the way they sell and advertise!
I want to share my awesome experience with Regal Lakeland Auto, specifically (Rone) who is a sales person in the used car department. My mom and I went there looking for a car for her. As we walk up Rone graciously greeted us and we began what was a very good experience for us. There was no pressure tactics, no insulting back and forth (let me ask my boss). Rone was professional, took time to listen to my concerns and extremely patient with my mother and I. The great news is we made a purchase, Rone had the car detailed to the max, filled up the tank and sent us on our way. The single most important factor in our decision was Rones honesty. This was a two day process for us because of my requirements, but he kept his word and delivered on everything he promised and then some. Anyone in the market for a car can trust this sales person. In a time when its hard to know who to trust when purchasing a used car, Rone is your man. I would highly recommend him.
Took car in to get brakes replaced. Waited at least two hours only to be told to come back the following day. The next day brakes were still squealing & scrubbing.
This is the type of dishonest dealer that gives people anxiety about going to purchase a car. I called and talked to a sales rep about purchasing a car. We decided on a price and decided I would pick it up that day. I was from out of town so it would take me a few hours to reach them, but they said they would pull the car from the lot and make sure it didnt sell since I was on the way. I got the GPS ready and notified them of the time I would be arriving, to which they confirmed was good. I drove an hour and half to get there. When I arrived they unsympathetically told me they sold the car. One employee even chuckled a little as he let me know it just left. They didnt offer and apology, but turned up there crookedness and immediately tried selling me something else. This behavior by their manager just shows that they arent there to help you.
Awesome experience!!!! We went last Wednesday for the very first time and we purchased a pre own Mazda 6. Great people and very patient with us. Gabriel the salesman was great and the manager was very helpful with us. Thank you guys .

It was unfortunately the worst experience at a dealer and the worst negotiation with a used car. I have never had a used car all my cars have been new from the year. They promised me some things like cleaning details inside the car, battery change, tire changes etc and nothing was true when I finished signing all the documents. The vehicle had some accessories at the time of purchase and when they delivered it to me they gave me without them
Worst place EVER!! we waited in the office for 2hrs to only see one car that we didnt want in the first place..our bank said the dealership is in their Network so we went there, filled out a paper that our bank told us about an we told the dummies there not to run our credit until we get a car! They ran 2 credit checks through 2 different banks 😠😤😠🤬!! Didnt find out til the next day. The manger (wore glasses red shirt) was soooo annoying, he kept on about financing, when we had the money to buy it out! No intentions on financing!!!..we never saw any cars til the end(1 SUV)..just got left alone in the office alot..Soooo unprofessional there..Ill never recommend this place to anyone..

Bought my Acura from Regal and was a pretty good experience, my only complaint is how long it takes to get your paperwork and get out. 4 hours is too long!!The service department is ok if you keep an eye on them I’ve brought my car for normal maintenance and then if I had an issue they seemed high. I checked with other plays and yes they are high, that being said when you need it done quickly and well they do a pretty good job though.Would I buy from them again maybe/maybe not when I do go to the lot I’m either completely ignored or pestered there’s no in the middle.Big selection and plenty of salesmen but if youre looking to buy do your financing before heading in!!
Used cars extremely unprofessional, have been waiting 2 weeks to see if we got approved for a vehicle that they are currently letting us drive. No calls, no answers, multiple emails, and voicemails left. Absolutely garbage experience with every person ive spoken to in the used cars section.DO NOT BUY HERE.

Not the best experience with Doug *the guy who wears a hat* was told one thing from one sales person, then switched around and told something different from another. After signing I was told the car still needs to go through the dealers safety inspection, so I had to wait another day to get the car. Car wasn’t even washed, interior still had all of the old owners things inside. Probably won’t return to that sales department. Doug also let me leave the lot without my tag registration. Unsafe. The other sales person I dealt with Joe was much better.
