The employees were all friendly and courteous to each of their customers during the time shopping. All questions were answered with professional and honest responses. Prices were all reasonable and the quality of food were all excellent quality. Fresh food always on the shelves and especially in the produce section. Will be looking forward to going back really soon.

Veggies and fruits right there as you walk in...onions tomatoes grapes. Salad stuff dressings and cereal? Meats at the end of the aisle. Good flavorful tender pork. Usually have sardines.

I remember when this Save A Lot was the Acme. It was good when it first opened. Now it is a horrible gross store. Always understocked. Never enough cashiers. I look for other storesThe one in Barclay Sq its better stocked, more cashiers. I dont know how much cleaner it is but its much better stocked.

Staff is constantly changing since 2014.....however one original still remains( Miss Bobby)also Ambiance they are good people some of the others are new and dont have good customer service or people skills.... Ive been coming in to the store for well over 10 years now and you remember when it was an Acme.... and do other employees as well as the managers at one point and they were like friends and family and its something different what the exception of the two that I mentioned..... being well over 50 and considering the amount of money Ive spent in the store having managers the age of my children who are in their 30s or younger walking around with their faces balled up when you ask a question or following you and even standing at the front of the store looking down the aisle at you when youre trying to shop.... for the most part I was saying they are very accessible to me and they carry most of the things that I need when I need them so I will always give them stars

I havent been to a save a lot in nearly a decade. Tonight I went, dere is NOTHIN in dis store ! I go lookin for hot sauce, a drink & mac n cheese. Yall had Franks Red Hot but it all went downhill from dere. Had to get some no name brand for a tropical punch, den only mac & cheese available is Real Cheesy what is dat ? Had to settle for anotha knock off brand of rice instead. Horrible, its why ppl dont like a save a lot its for da poor

Clean store -cashiers are pleasant for kids and customers are so considerate to me. Bring quarters for access to cart- its returned when you bridle the cart back into the corral.

Its going out of business. So the product you may want, you may not find.

Good for the simple items you need day to day, but lack on the variety of brands to choose from.

Clean bright discount grocery. Decent array of items.Great prices, decent quality and quantity. Plenty of parking, and very accessible to public transportation. Could improve on cart maintenance, many of them damaged and scattered.

This save a lot use to be so clean years ago they need to clean this save a lot up or close it down.There are insects flying all over the produce the store is discusting.

Save A Lot has my favorite chips called the J.Higgs Cheezies Crunchy Hot and Spicy Cheetos, I love them to death! Save A Lot is my favorite store jus because its the only store that I know that has those chips. I dont know if the other grocery stores has them or not ; but, all I know is that Save A Lot does.

Not good for meat. Go up the street to Aldis.To reply compared to Barclay square the meat selection is lacking. They had a lot of frozen meat the last time I was there. The store needs to be reorganized. It has the bear essentials to call it a super market.

Dont ever shop here. They never take expired items off the shelf. the freezers never work right so youre buying food that is not even frozen that is supposed to be frozen or its going bad.

First time in a save a lot. It is definitely diffirent. Mostly damaged products dented cans torn or mis labeled boxes. Things close to being out of date. It reminds me of a center City loading dock shopping store. Prices are great and I would go here for odds and ends any day of the week.

Short lines and great prices.. factual its cheaper then the next closest Save a Lot in the city. Avoid long lines and crowds at this location definitely.

I just made a stop at this store for a few items that I needed..but I came across an excellent find. I found the stuffed chicken breasts in three different flavors on clearance for 4 for $1. I ended up buying 20 of them for just $5. They had beefsteak tomatoes for $1.29 a lb and tampico icepops for 2 for $1. This store is organized and clean. The only issue I had today is that they were out of hamburger buns. Otherwise, its a great place to shop for good deals.

Reasonable prices for some items and name brands being sold there. I like purchasing quick frozen entrees for busy night dinner and after school snacks.

Good parking, handicapped access, clean store, good variety of merchandise, good price few national brands, well stocked, bring your own bags. Staff friendly and helpful.

Shopped here today and the first thing I noticed there were absolutely no carts available for shopping and the only on there was didnt roll. Then when I walked in the smell was like rotten vegetables it was disgusting. I decided only to get a few things since I was there already. I got some corn on the cob and a case of sodas for a bbq I was having. When in line there was a person in front of us doing a wic transaction and the older cashier just looked miserable. The person didnt get the right things so she asked me and my father to bring the things to the front so she could check us out. She never asked how we were and when finished never said have a good day. My father set the things down and bagged the corn that we bought. Not realizing until we got home we had left the case of sodas we went back with our receipt and went inside to get them. The case wasnt there and because it wasnt there they said someone else must have taken them. I asked if I could get another case and the manager told me that once I paid for the item its my responsibility even though the cashier remembered us and knew what I was talking about. The soda was left in the store and I have never been to a store that didnt honor a purchase. People leave things all the time after buying them and stores should understand that. I have been a manager at grocery stores and have never not honored a purchase. I would give this store 0 stars if possible. I was very disappointed in my experience here and I will not be back!

I know Save A lot isn’t a high end grocery store, but to be given horrible customer service shouldn’t be tolerated. Everyone needs a source of income and I would never want anyone to get fired, but the manager on down should be retrained. It’s rare that someone makes me stoop down to their level, but the employee Neff and manager Sebria both need formal counseling. Oh corporate will definitely hear my full complaint.

Only buy meats from this store if your gonna cook rite away. Super long lines and there is usually only one cash register ever open. They do have name brand products though

Cheap, poor quality food. Not food I want to feed my kids. Other discount stores have low prices on quality products, but save a lot is all crappy over processed and unhealthy.

First time seeing this store, look unprepared for customers, meat counter empty and meats didnt look fresh, most of the size shelf were empty. Very surprised

This store needs to be updated seriously. There are barely any employees around if you have a question about products and always one cashier. The owner of this store replied to my comment. He told me that the reason the prices are so low is because he doesnt put money into having a whole lot of employees so that he can keep the product prices low.

Nice store, but they never have enough workers at the cash register so its always a long line and wait, Other than that I like Save-A-Lot.
