JoAnn is almost consistently the same everywhere. The employees at this location are really friendly and knowledgeable. The parking lot needs work, but thats not anything Joanns can fix.

This is a smaller store but so orderly. I can see they are shifting to autumn/Halloween supplies yet aisles are clear and other shelves are will stocked.

This is a great place to shop. They always have tons of supplies for any kind of craft and their prices are very good.

They did not have felting needles in stock which was a bummer but generally I enjoy wandering through this store just to see what fun crafty things I could be doing but will not, in fact, do.

I dont go to that store a lot but I found the zipper I needed and some nice stocking stuffers for Christmas on clearance 😊. Its never too early to start buying for Christmas🎄😉.

Love the sales but normally wouldnt shop for the prices are a tad higher then Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

This was a clean shoppable store and we were asked if we needed help finding things instead of associates putting their heads down when they walk past you. Very friendly.

Definitely just as good if not better than the one in Frandor. They seem to have more options available for both pickup and in store purchases. I go here often for all types of supplies and their staff is usually extremely knowledgeable and always available to help me whether its to find some miscellaneous object or just simply to cut some fabrics. They also are well graced in knowing about the fabrics and the way the fabrics react to different washes and etc. Overall great site and would definitely recommend considering it just up the street from the mall and Walmart.

JoAnn knows how to occupy the glorious time of living! Prepare to be overwhelmed with options of potential new hobbies. You may purchase fabric and reupholster chair to brand new. You may choose from many scrapbooking supply, and go custom with the cricut machine! Customize everything folks, theres so many options. They are mostly nice as well! Do not forget to bring your coupons! I wish them the best.

Very disappointed that they would not do a price match for EXACT same products. I was told their manager told them they didnt have to do price matching. I left and went to Grand Rapids store where they were happy to help me. Also both Michaels in Lansing and Grand rapids were happy to price match on the same product but a different brand name! Very nice of them. I wont be shopping at this particular store.

I went in to inquire about knitting classes which I did receive that b information. Unfortunately, I took a stroll around all of v the aisles. I found Christmas clearance items. I spent way more money than I had planned. I had boxes and boxes of ribbon. They were supposed time be a Christmas ribbon but several will be able to use for other occasions. I was asked several times if I needed any help not pushy just kind and polite employees. At checkout the employ asked if I had ever signed up for text messages which I had not so she helped me to sign up and I received a 20% coupon off the entire purchase which was already 8t% off. I definitely like this store. Try are much more pleasant and helpful than the store I used to visit in Colorado

Not bad for sewers, knitters, crocheters. Not great for illustrators. Pretty small. But over all really nice.

After reading the other reviews, I almost didnt give this location a try...but Im glad I did. Someone greeted me as soon as I walked in and asked if they could help me find anything.When I did ask for help to get some fabric off the top shelf, an employee was nearby and quickly got the ladder to get it for me.I did wait a couple minutes at the fabric counter (but my craft supplies are not an emergency, so no big deal) and the nearest employee did let me know it would be just a minute since she was helping someone else. While she was cutting the fabric, she was very helpful and friendly.At least two other times, an employee checked in to see if I needed any help while browsing. I also saw them check in with other nearby customers regularly (who varied in age and complexion).The cashier was polite and efficient.Im not sure if theyve hired better employees since the old reviews, but as of now, this is a great location with fantastic employees. I did shop in the morning (which tends to be the best time for customer service), but the employees seemed to have no problem helping everyone who showed up to take advantage of the Presidents Day sale.

The staff was extremely helpful. The lady cutting fabric went above & beyond normal customer service by going to the counters to help me find a specific fabric I needed. My cashier helped me download the app, & found extra coupons to help me save money on my purchases. I shop there often, & have always had pleasant experiences. I worked retail management for 43 years. The associates at this store deserve recognition for the excellent service they provide their customers on a regular basis. Thank you!!

Always a great place could spend hours in there shipping. The manager Lexi always has a smile on her face and goes beyond trying to help. Shes amazing. I love this store.

Ive always liked Joanns, just this time they didnt have alot of what I was looking for, I realize its the holidays. Dont most stores stock up. I will be going back.

Old ladies took 15 minutes to cut a single yard of fabric. Ended up paying double what we would have at Walmart. Store is crowded and generally overpriced. One of the workers was a bit rude to my mom, implying she would screw up a stocking she was going to make for my dead baby brother. Overall pretty terrible experience.

Everyone was really friendly and in a great mood despite it being very busy. This is not the closest Joann to me but I would make the extra drive and go back becuase my experience was so great.

I think Jo-Anns may be going through a transitional period, and not in a good way. The employees clearly do not approve of many of the changes, and they are rather rude to their customers. Maybe if Jo-Anns paid them more? Maybe if they gave them some type of benefits? But it is clear that Jo-Anns has sucked the enjoyment out of working at a lovely craft and fabric store. Its not just the employees though, the quality of their fabric has gone down substantially. I wish that they would post the thread counts for their Fabrics because some of them simply fall apart after 3 months of washing and wearing. And after spending days creating something, it makes you not want to do any further sewing with their fabric.

My husband and I visit both Lansing JoAnns so regularly most employees know us. The staff at both locations are so friendly and knowledgeable about a variety of crafts. We always end up having crafty conversations at the cutting counter, and then buying more than we should! A quick stop normally ends up being a 30 minute visit! The only thing I would change is sometimes the lines can be unbearably long with not enough cashiers on duty.
