Cashier could have been friendlier. She was too busy talking to a co-worker to actually be sociable to the customer. Other than that the store has a clean appearance.

Best place to find fresh meat with affordable prices.Meats and produce are lower than all other stores.The other foods are a bit higher than chain grocery stores.I buy only meat and produce.

This is a hidden gem, the meat counter had some of the best prices and cuts Ive seen since pre covid. Definitely worth looking.

This place is great! They easily have the best and widest meat selection in town. The prices are surprisingly great.Even during the beginning panic of the pandemic when stores were out of products Great Giant was still stocked and full. The staff is helpful and friendly. Even when people are there shopping they are friendly to each other and sharing recipes. Its my first stop before I go anywhere else.

Its okay on there meats at times dont shop there much a little to pricey. I thought Market fresh suppose had merged with them🤔

Men arent allowed backpacks ON THEIR BACK in the store but woman can carry huge purses at their side open and dangling right next to there hands... Makes no sense whatsoever and is obvious discrimination. Yes, this is literally their store policy.

They have great meat deals. But the chicken wings are always brusied. I bought steaks there, went home and started to cook them, took them apart the meat was green n mushy. Spoiled meat. I check my meat if i have to go there. But this is not a store that i frequentlyattend anymore because im not satisfied with bruised and spoiled meat.

They have some hood meat deals, sometimes. Its worth a look

This store is located in the rather sketchy Logans square shopping plaza. So I dont always feel the safest here and I wouldnt ever ask my fiance to go alone. But Im probably over protective. That aside, Im giving 4 stars because of their meat. All pork, beef, and in particular chicken that you get here is amazing. Very reasonably priced, and always tastes really great. I shop literally nowhere else for meat now. They have a pretty decent selection of other staples, though a little higher priced for some things. The vegetables are hit and miss. Some days the produce is great other days not so great. But if you like amazing meat, this is the place to go, especially chicken!

Bad experience and would not recommend. Between the price gouging and an employee with a serious cough who didn’t bother to cover her mouth despite the CDC recommendations for public health Kroger or meijjers is a safer place to shop

This place is great for buying stuff for cooking Mexican food. They have a lot of stuff you dont find at other grocery stores.I also like the dried spices and herbs they have. They also have some super deals on random grocery items. I like shopping at this store.

The store always has excellent deals and Im never let down by the quality of what they have. For a small discount grocery store, they really are the best one out there. The Butcher Shop Ive never been let down with and if you do see a problem they are very quick to help.

Great little spot to find good deals on meats, the bundles are especially good. Staff is always friendly and for the most part they have everything weve needed. They even have some harder to find spices that places like Walmart and Meijer only occasionally stock.

Went to buy meat there yesterday and was very upset to see this store was PRICE GOUGING! When I asked the gentleman in meat department WHY he answered price and demand! I understand people are stocking up on groceries but to double the price on meat was ridiculous!

This is one of those buyer beware type of grocery store. Although their fresh meat selection is good. Prices are kinda high for this type of store. And you can never be sure of the quality of the frozen food. A few times a have gotten frozen potatoes/fries and the whole bag is freezer burned. And then they get attitude when you return the item. Better off going to krogers, or meijers.

Very low prices on there meats. The o ly place I get my steaks burgers pork chops fish etc from. Highly recommend.

Now in Lansing, Mi? I remember Great Giant from Flint, Mi for their wonderful meat selection at a Fantastic price! We found good prices on chicken wings and purchased some. Dont know much about Lansing but I do know a bargain when I see one and this place is a Great way to save money.

Great assortment of meat, even hard to find meat. They have store brands and some name brands. Store is clean but some aisles are confusing. They have 10 for 10 items as well. Cereal specials right at front of store. They have meat bundles also. Economical to shop here, I like store.

This grocery store has a super meat section! The butchers are working in the back.. There is also a big selection of Goya. Their prices similar to Kroger across the street, but I have bought 2 whole chickens in a bag for $5. Truly worth the trouble to take a look. Review#2. I have taken to visit once a week. The meat department, items rare. Ox tail? I have not seen in stores since.. 1970s. ?. I do lots of canning.. Bunches of greens for 77 cents. This week 5for dollar lemons and limes.. I am making the canned lemons for summer lemonade and candied citrus for xmas fruit cakes. Weeellll worth a visit!! Always nice employees, place always clean.

Nice store and had everything I needed. The employees are nice and friendly. There wasnt any bags in the meat department, so I had to go to produce and get bags for my meats. The parking lot is a bit messy and people park anyplace in or out of parking spaces.

You can get great deals on meat, although the meat always taste and smell like its closer to expiring than the date indicated. Many of the products in this store are overpriced when you can go across the street and pay a lot less. Cashiers are friendly and helpful.

I like it I go for the meat deals, steak and such. Good selection of everything a lot of Hispanic specialties. The tortillas are very fresh when I have bought them and I do appreciate that.

Nice employees but pretty gross looking for a new store and the biggest meat section is no bigger than any other market. It is fairly small with nothing special about it. I wont be shopping here ever.

It was a bad expierence. I saw a mouse running along the floors of every aisle, produce,ceral, chips, meat etc. Most product is close if not expired. They will put new expiration date stickers over old ones in the meat section. Gross store. Highly suggest no one shops there.

Love that most items are cheap. They are close to house and I can find just about everything I need.

Knew they didnt have the freshess produce and meats...and wld mark down things going bad...but Ive just witnessed them erasing the manufacturers sell by date and puttin on their own..not to mention almost every time I go there they put my packs of meat that has the blood and juices runnin off in the same bag as my fruits and vegetables and bread or whatever else...then had the nerve to get an attitude when I asked to be seperated.....plz ppl stop giving ur money to these plp that tey to take advantage of minorities in a lower income neighborhood

Great meat prices. Me and my girlfriend spent $60 on meat alone. Everything else was tremendously overpriced. We bought cereal and fries and other things and spent it all cost $26.

Love this place the meat dept is excellent, they have more varity of fish that comes in 1, 2, & 5# bags. And lots of other resonably priced items. Would highly recommend to others

Got some stuff at good prices others not

I usually love this market, except for when some guy mutilated my Filet Mignon as another woman is telling him to stop cutting as he is cutting it wrong. Man did not listen and so I went home with some mutilated Filet Mignons and some badly cut Oxtails. This was the only bad experience with them though.
