Place has changed, its nice to see many of the cheap Chinese junk tools are gone. But those cheaper prices are gone too. Everything is too high now for off brand stuff. Have to pay a yearly club subscription for any sale prices. Might as well go to a name brand retailer or get a better deal online now. These quality tools are too new to have a known history of strength and reliability. Pay the same price for Craftsman, Snap-On, Mac, etc. It was nice to purchase some of those tools at a cheaper price when it wasnt going to be used often. Now they expect the same Buy Once, Cry Once shopping ideal as professional brands. Not every job is worth crying over the tool cost, just pay a professional to do the job better and cheaper!

Most of the tools are not made for a professional mechanic due to the quality. Most of the tools are made in china. I returned a set of T handle Allen Wrenchs that bent while using them for several hours, they accepted the return and refunded my money. ( That part of the return rates a 5 star).

5 Stars for the Customer Service alone! Great Manager. I had searched all over town and the internet for the large tarp we needed. I needed it to be of exceptional quality and was having trouble finding it until I called Harbor Freight. It just so happened that the manager was well-versed in what I needed and even herself had used the same product but for a different reason and it had lived up to her expectations. I purchased it at what I consider a very fair price because the quality is superior. My husband was super surprised at the Quality of the construction and of the super heavy duty material. We even got the color we needed!

I often check here before heading to any other store theyve got a great welding selection along with everything else its hard to not find what you need at this place.

I like going there to get remote batteries for the garage door opener. They have reasonable prices and a good selection of hardware items.

Bought the pick up unloader and it work Great. Unloaded 4 loads of sand and gravel about 1500 lb each. Little hard to get started but was better than shoveling.

Harbor Freight was a new store for me. Im looking for some type dolly/hauler for my new kayak (from the van to the shore). Not a hospital but much cleaner than Id imagined. They didnt have anything ready made. I could build one from their materials tho! They have them ALL.But they also have MANY things at reasonanmble prices.For eg. I saw 50cal tactical top insert trayed plastic ammo cans, same as Cabelas, Sportsman Warehouse, the Army Surplys Store, etc. sell for $20 for >$10! Had the smaller size lockable 9mm/various caliber for >$7. Had all kinds of dollys for moving everything but my project! I couldve spent $100 easy if I had more time to shop! Their stock was low &, many products out or one left! Only 2 clerks but signs for help wanted all over. Ill include them in my future and will be back to buy amme cans for 1500qty 556Nato, 2,000rds .223, and qty 2,000 .308 I just got delivered! Bet they have a LOT of stuff I need in the next year! Its a 👍!

It has what you want if you can find it. The staff sometimes are clueless. Also they don’t need to stop you every time in the checkout and ask you for an extended warranty or be part of their inside track. It just causes more confusion and delay getting out. 10 mins walking around 15 minutes in line.

Yes, its all made in China, no, the tools here are not likely to be heirlooms, but they get the job done at a fraction of the price of bigger name brands. Also, its all in a smaller space, (which means quicker in-and-out with less walking around), and the staff was readily-available, friendly and helpful.

Not as friendly ad the Bozeman or Helena MT stores but fairly well stocked and mostly decently staffed, surprising with the low pay their advertises for now hiring. Have met a few managers at this location abd they were friendly and clearly competent leaders to which i personally attribute the stored functionality to. Downside is i prefer they paid a living wage for the area so i frequent leas than i normally would.

Think twice before you spend your money! Yes they are inexpensive but that is where it ends. I have a parts washer that the pump has gone bad on, in order to get a pump, I have to buy a whole new unit. They had a 2.5 cu. ft. tounge box on display on the floor only one in the store. I get told we cant sell the display because there wont be one for customers to look at even though we are out of stock Personally I would sell the display and unbox a new one when stock came in. The tools are pretty, get one out at 2:30 in the morning and see if dosent break and you cant find a replacement. I vote to stay with Matco, or Snap on quality is the name of the game not how pretty it looks.

I love Harbor Freight but my shopping experience this time was disappointing. Dont know my way around the store so was going to ask someone for help so I didnt have to walk around forever with a mask on. No one to be found. So I stood in the check out line to ask for help. The girl answered my question but in a tone like she didnt really want to be bothered. There is a hardware store closer to me will just go there next time.

Well to be honest the time before this I was very dissatisfied the manger gave me the impression that they didnt need my business... Even rude. The store was empty of product and just trashed I ended up spending almost 400.00 dollars only because I traveled 20+ miles and in need of some things to finish what I had to do.... Or I would have taken my money eles where ..... But with that said this time was much better all all away around, neat and cleaned up and the employees were on point made me feel like my business was wanted and needed...so Ill go back and give them my business .... Spent another 300.00+ 😁

Bought a safe here. Never worked. Being I live 30 minutes away and these times it is a struggle to find time to take an HR out of my day to exchange it I was over the 90 day return policy by 12 days. No help here. Guess you get what you pay for. In my case a broken safe, a wasted hr commute for horrible service.

Do not buy at this location, if you can go to Home Depot, Lowes, or Meynards they will not give you refund if the product is junk out of the box. Paid cash less then a week ago for simple drill and it started smoking told the store and they did nothing. Do not buy here.

Only 1 register open and almost 20 people in line. The manager was sitting in the office and refused to come out and help clear the back log of customers. The girl working the register was doing her very best to get people through the line and answer the phone as well. Total breakdown in management and putting a good worker under undo stress

Waiting nearly two months for order. customer service seems to only know one response your order will be shipped this week. not true. I still do not have merchandise and no real valid response from customer service. very disappointed. update 7-18-2020. sent me email that the entire order is back ordered. will never order again. likely will never buy from them. very poorly run company online.

Clean and well lighted. Only open until 7 PM. Did not have enough time to shop.

This is a great store. The products they sell are good quality for the price.They offer great deals and sales.However, their customer service isnt strong. No customer greetings, no customer engagement, but a little friendly. I cant give an opinion about the employee product knowledge, because theyre not engaging in short and small conversation.

Items are well-stocked and displays are set up.I would like to see more investment in this store by corporate. Maybe a remodel and more of the new product lines.Overall, I get a lot of tools here for my money. With free gifts like batteries (use them for remote controls) moving blankets, tarps, fladhlights, and tape measures, I am using free tools around the house pretty much every day.
