Nice people at first, but once they realize that they might not be able to do everything anymore, the customer service declines tremendously. I brought a turntable for a cartridge repair and long story short, they were not able to fix. Still charged quite the penny and were quite rude after I suggested that it wasn’t worth messing with anymore and I would pick up. If Luanne and Dan are going to advertise as the experts, they need to provide expert service and support.
Great work for Samsung TV Repair. Our 2019 QLED died on us and I put in a Samsung repair ticket. This shop was the authorized repair center, so I called for an update and Luann let me know that because the warranty had expired in march, it would be costly to repair. On her suggestion I called back and spoke to Samsung who authorized an out of warranty repair! After a few days waiting for parts to show up, Dan & Dan scheduled an appointment and replaced the defective screen. Very friendly and professional, would definitely use them again.
I went to the shop and found they were true to what was said on the phone. Proprietor took the time to look at my stereo and show me and discuss possible problems. When he first saw it, he could give me a historical background. I do realize it will take a while if possible to repair, due to COVID. Not an issue. Ive waited over twenty years.
Absolutely terrible customer service, Luanne or however you spell her name is TERRIBLE. She is very rude, terrible attitude, and she needs to be properly trained on how to be a better customer service representative. I wouldn’t even go here to get free air if they were giving it away! Disgusting people !
Horrible customer service. I have never in my life dealt with such an unprofessional business. Very rude on the phone with me and didnt want to explain why my brand new Samsung couldnt be fix. If you want to get your TV repaired dont go to this shop.
Lou Anne and her husband are the best! They fixed my Samsung set in only two hours. They were a breath of fresh air when it came to customer service, professionalism and good old fashion personality! She also set up an in home service for another problem I had with the set and was out only three days later to complete the service. As long as they are in business, I will never buy anything but a Samsung because they are the authorized service center in the area and are a joy to deal with.
Friendly staff, knew how to fix my radio.
I thought my TV was ready for the junk pile. I called Electronic Specialists the tech there was familiar with the problem I described and said he could work me in SAME DAY. The estimate was priced within my budget. I am grateful for the quick service and affordable price. My TV works great.
LuAnne was amazingly helpful and helped to determine that my TV was not worth fixing as the cost would outweigh the value without me even paying a dime! That doesnt happen often these days. It was much appreciated!!
Fabulous place. Skilled personnel have serviced my 40 yr old tavle radio, AM/FM tuners, and record turntable. Great place
Great and quick repair on replacing turntable cartridge.
I have a pair of vintage Kenwood speakers that no one has been able to fix. Electronics Specialists had them rebuilt to factory specs in 2 weeks! The bonus is Daniel and Luanne are some of the nicest people youll ever meet. So you need not search further for electronics repairs.Just Be Here Now.
Called and asked to see if they would fix my vintage laserdisc remote. I basically got a Do not bother us response. Very disappointing....I realise a remote control is small potatoes to these guys but I was willing to pay. Whatever.
Very helpful, they have lots of parts.
Called samsung because my tv had lines in it. They set up a call with the electronics specialists i get a text asking for pictures of the issue, they come out and replace my panel, the next day the panel has light blotches all over and looks terrible, i call samsung again and samsung sends another service ticket to the electronics specialists they yet again text me asking for pictures and then tell me that its completely normal and then tell me if i dont like their ruling then i need to call samsung again, so i call samsung again and they saw the pictures and said no that isnt normal for our product and they need to actually go out to service the tv properly to determine whether it needs replaced or repaired again i have been in electronics sales for 15 years, im not stupid and this company sure like to treat their customers like they are ignorant just so they dont have to do anything.
I have a pioneer SX 950 from the mid seventies that needed repair. I took it to another company prior without any success. Found this place online and after talking to the owner felt confident he knew how to repair this unit. dropped it off with a diagnostic fee and after 2-3 weeks he found several parts that needed replaced. he took the time and made sure it was fixed. There is not many people left that have the knowledge to repair vintage electronics, its not cheap to repair vintage electronics so make sure you have something worth repairing. It was more sedimental than monetary for me and Im grateful that I found this place.the unit sounds better than ever since Ive owned itThank you
This place is a sham. Repair specialist blamed my cable box for frying a $100 chip in my tv and causing overheating issues. Replaced the chip (which took about 10 minutes) and charged me $300 for service. I never plugged the cable box in again and my tv stopped working again a month later showing the EXACT same symptoms. This company needs to employ better technicians or go under, at this point I prefer the latter.
Is half a star an option? how about no stars? a potentiometer replacement isnt exactly rocket science, if i had my testing equipment i would do it on my own. i call these specialists up, and since say they have only worked on my particular brand once they wont be able to figure out how to replace it. really? and you guys are specialists? i also told her it still works so testing it should give them the numbers they need. more or less she gave me the were too lazy to work on this spiel and couldnt wait to get me off the phone.i will admit, part of this review is also based on a previous experience at this fine establishment. about 10 years ago i had an older pioneer premier car radio that i wanted fixed, i knew it was a common fix and thought it shouldnt be too expensive, well i got the bill and it was 150 bucks, which was less than half the price of the radio so i paid it and got it back. well, i had two of that particular radio and sure enough the 2nd radio ended up with the same issue in my friends car a few months down the road. i ordered the part through pioneer for about 12 bucks shipped and had it fixed in about 15 minutes. they totally got one over on a young and dumb customer (since then google has helped me fix just about everything and anything), do not take your electronics here. i wouldnt even send barack obama here.
Incredibly unprofessional. I would give less than one star if possible. I contacted Electronic Specialists on a Tuesday asking about service on an older tv. The person who responded was very nice and said they had to speak to the tech and get back with me the next morning. I never heard back from them, so i emailed her to check in on it. When she responded, she asked for my phone number so the tech could call me. When the tech called me, he said he could fix it as it was a programming issue. He said it was a $200 service call. I said wow, thats expensive for a service call, why is it so expensive? he responded with well we can part ways and say good day then. As i had another place say they charged $40 for a service call, i stated that to him and that i was curious why his was so expensive. He responded by saying well that other guy must be way smarter than me obviously, if he only charges that much. i said i didnt appreciate the attitude as i was just asking why it was so expensive, and if it would be cheaper if i brought the tv to him. He again said, well by all means take it to the other place. they are obviously much smarter than me. much smarter. At that point I had enough. I was incredibly professional and was trying to ask why a huge price difference. I should have taken notice of the other reviews by people stating how they were terrible at customer service. Incredibly unprofessional and honestly, just a terrible person.UPDATE: Please take note of the owners response, and it will show what other reviewers are saying. In the service industry, what does it matter what the customer might think the repair would cost? If you are up front and honest in your dealings, your cost is your cost. $200 for a service call is ridiculous by any measure. I would have been treated differently had i told them i had a lower quote? Why? The only answer here is because they are purposely trying to gouge the customer. Also please note, the owner apologizes over 4 months after the fact, yet, the customer never received a phone call trying to remedy the issue. On top of that, I tried to talk to the owner after it happened two separate times. The first time I was told he would call me back. After not hearing from them, I called a second time only to have the woman answering the phone say she was sorry. Again, not a way for a small local business to conduct themselves. It gives small hardworking family shops a bad name.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR TV HERE! Theyre quick to take your money without even looking at it and have your tv sit there for days in front of a window. To top it all off, there were 5 other tvs just sitting there not getting worked on.
After using a Samsung TV for two weeks it started going on and off on its own. Samsung refused to replace it and offered service, but thats another story. Electronic Specialists called me because they are the authorized repair center. I had them out before to repair a Dimplex fireplace so I was familiar with them. They came out and do far so good. The tech took the time to point out some features of the TV and even explained the differences between the various TV brands. Im not happy with Samsung forcing me to keep a defective TV, but ESso service was good.
Dented the back of my tv which voids the warrant and now the manufacturer refuses to do anything about it. used very foul language to me told me to get the f out of his store and never come back. they lost my original receipt. has no idea what they are talking about takes them 2 weeks to service tv when i took it to them. offered to refund my money without consent from manufacturer. everything about them was off from day one they are scam artists they charged the manufacturer $400 to replace a component board that cost less than $50
I suspect these guys are crooks.LONG story short: Samsung sent a guy to fix my television out of warranty for a known problem. After the repair my display was crooked, top of the display was missing, and bottom was off the edge of the screen, and a shadow at the top.He tried to get me to spend $400 on a part to fix the issues that he caused.Samsung told him it was improper installation. He argued for weeks, in the end Samsung told me I need to deal with him because its between us.After coming to terms that the guy wasnt going to fix it, I decided to get on the internet to learn how to adjust it myself.A few screws later and the picture was in perfect alignment. Below is the email I sent them to close the ticket.------------------To whom it may concern,This letter is to inform you that services will no longer be required for Morty W with regards to a poor picture on a Samsung television that resulted during the repair of a DMD chip. I was successful in fixing the issue myself by adjusting a few screws, and as you can see in the included pictures the image has been returned to normal.Im not sure if this was incompetence or an attempt to deceive me into spending $400 on a part that is clearly working properly, either way I do not expect an apology for the rudeness, the huge waste of time, the deception, or the incompetence.I just hope you re-evaluate your business practices.Have a nice day,----------------------(I have left dozens of unprofessional issues out of the review, these guys are just slime)
Worthless lazy pricks, decided to keep my unit for over a month...when i finally called about the progress they told me oh we cant fix this, we dont do these types of systems (even though they have all these so called plaques and certifications all over the walls), you can pick it up tomorrow because we are closing early today.....ok? for 1 they never told me they werent going to fix it 2, they never called me and told me any progress and even when i called them they were rude and ignorant. And 3! Why call yourselves electronic specialists if you had no clue on how to fix my Panasonic surround soud, or better yet, why have me drop it off if your just going to store it next to your front counter for a month and not say anything until i call??? oh and guess what people..once i arrived to pick it up the head a-hole with glasses and black dyed just-for-men gel hair basically threw my item at me and wrote on an invoice that i needed to take it to a different place for service.........wow i hope these idiots go out of business soon, i would LMAO!
Customer service is not very friendly
Very courteous and knowledgeable
Dropped off my TV and they told me it was not economical to have it repaired and they gave me a partial refund of the deposit then recycled the set.
Ok
