Came here for the cage fights tonight & TV has no signal, room smells like It was just freshly bombed.. Called the front desk & the man said theres absolutely nothing he can do for me tonight. He was very kind & honest which I appreciate. The reviews here are not so great. Beds are comfy though π
I visited a friend that was staying at Causeway bay. They should just call it cockroaches with bedbugs. The whole place smells of chemicals from bug bombs. The elevators dont work right and it was painfully obvious that they barely cleaned anything in the rooms. As I was leaving there was a cockroach crawling down the hallway. Tried to get a picture but it scurried into a crack before I could get my phone out. Absolutely disgusting place Ill never set foot in there again.
It sucked. I will ever go there again. One of three elevators worked. Was not told until checking in pool not useable. Fire alarm in room decided to beep. It took at least two hours to get it fixed your room keys did not work. This included three visits from staff. We were given two keys for our room. Two sets of keys didnt work so we sat in the hallway for 45 minutes waiting to get into our room. Staff was good when they could do stuff as only one person was on check in counter at heavy check in time. There was no consideration for staff or customers. Was charged double quoted cost of room. Not good experience at all
Pool was closed when we arrived no mention of this anywhere online or on the phone. no cable TV. entire 3rd floor stinks of cigarettes. no breakfast like advertised. dirty bed dirty bathroom smears of food on the walls in room. ac barely worked and the road noise was the only thing louder than the ac. I would not advise booking here ever again. they really have let this place go. and dont leave anything of any value in your car it will get broken into
We called last month to book our reservation for a government rate and while checking in today, they couldnt locate our reservation. They asked my wife for the confirmation and of course we left it at the house assuming this was a well ran establishment. So, I called my neighbor and had him give me the confirmation. When we provided it to the employee, she didnt even look at the reservation and told us that our name wasnt listed and told us we were out of luck. The employee wasnt helpful or empathetic about the situation at all! Thank God one of our friends had an extra room. As Im sitting here writing this review, my daughter was trying to take a bath and we dont have hot water... Save your money and stay somewhere else! Customer service is horrible here!!!!
The WORST check in EVER. I booked directly with the hotel about 5 weeks before our stay. Then didnt have my name in the system anywhere when I attempted to check in. The lady asked me for my confirmation number (which I left on my fridge) so I called my neighbor and had him go to my house and send me the picture of the confirmation number. I tried to show the lady at the desk and she didnt even look at it . Just said well, your name isnt in the system (so why did she ask me for the confirmation in the first place) thankfully one of my friends had booked a extra room that she no longer needed and I was able to get that room because the front desk was doing nothing for me. So, we FINALLY get into the roomand there is no hot water and no remote for the tv. The pool is not open nor is the hot tub. This hotel is an absolute waste of money.
The halls and elevator reeked of cigarette smoke to the point of nausea. The pool was closed but there was no mention of that on the website. The bathroom was out of toilet paper. The air conditioning was completely TURNED OFF in our room, although it was over 90 degrees outside, making the room also nearly 90 when we arrived. I turned the air conditioning on immediately, but it did not work very well, so 4 hours later, I was still unable to get cool enough to sleep. the ice machine on our floor was broken, and the room where it was located had bags of trash piled around the trash can for the duration of our stay.To top this all off, the room cost over a hundred dollars. So very, very much not worth it. Go elsewhere.
No toilet paper, broken ice maker, AC hadnt been on at all (mid August) so the room was boiling hot and we never were able to get it to a comfortable temp, horrid smell in elevator and hallway, and apparently, reading the other reviews, the pool is never open, no breakfast. All this can be yours to enjoy for only like $110 per night. Sad. Looks like it used to be a great place to stay.
BED BUGS ALL OVER!!!! We arrived at 1:00am just to get some sleep for the night. We had to change room 2x because of smell in room. Kids woke up with bites all over and housekeeping communicated they have room taped off because of bed bugs. This was the worse hotel I ever stayed at. When we requested to speak to a manger. We were told no manger on duty and they had no one to call. They could not give a refund because they need a manger. Beyond frustrating. DO NOT STAY HERE.
I like the place it is a very clean and friendly environment I love that they allow dogs and keep up on their place. The employees are very kind and helpful. Very pretty place and peaceful and respectful place.
Never ever stay here!! They advertise $88 per night..when customers call to inquire, they are told hotel has only one or room left at $159 . I watched them do it during my 13 day stay. The owner pays employees 9.68hr and charges $1700mth to live there. Slaves. Puts Dhs guests on 2fl w/no lights or security. MR.KEUNG SHOULD BEASHAMED
Negative: I booked a king size bed but they only had queen. Hair on the bathroom floor and in tub. Floor between the beds was very dirty. No tv remote and the room was so hot when we walked in. Had to go to 3 different floors to find an ice machine that worked.
My stay here was horrible. My sister found bed bugs and then confronted the front desk and the guy said the owner knows about the bugs but does nothing about it.
The pool was closed for covid but an employee said it was because of a chlorine issue. Breakfast was take out and wasnt good. Lots of smoking in rooms. 5th floor had some spooky stuff
VERY large rooms. comfortable environment. to bad all amenities are not available. that place could Rock It Out..
The whole building reeks of old cigarette smoke, smelly carpet. No light bulbs. Soap dish filthy. Dont stay here
De Vill ( Front Desk Older Woman )Will kick you out and charge you an extra day .. she also kicks colored people out for no reason and bands them from coming back
Positive: 4th floor quiet Negative: Had to be moved rooms had bed bugs 2nd room was better
I stayed on the 24th of April. My bed was infested with bed bugs on 2nd floor. Another room reported the same, that night. They promised a refund that I never got. Called manager a week later. She never returned my call. Stay clear of this hotel. BTW. I have never given a poor rating to a hotel before this one!
Positive: Some of the staff were extremely friendly and nice. Others not nice or friendly. Negative: From the start...should have tried to get a refund...5 or 6 used needles laying in parking lot, room dingy, floor sticky, cig butts in window sills, burn holes in carpet and furniture. Told I would receive a 30% discount, DID NOT!! WORST HOTEL EVER!!!
DO NOT EVER GO THERE!!!! FIRST ROOM HAD 2 DEAD MICE ON FLOOR, NO LIGHTS IN HALL, SECOND ROOM NO HOT WATER NOT VERY CLEAN, DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DUMP !!!
Had a pleasant stay, was comfortable, slept like a baby
My family and I recently came to visit some additional family here in Lansing, and we were recommended to come check this place out. The minute we walked in we were very shocked of how beautiful the inside was! The front desk staff were kind and check in was very fast. The rooms are very spacious and the beds felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. I love the breakfast and how everything was hot and tasty and the sausage with hash browns were the best!I highly recommend to stay here!
3 times I had to go to the front desk for black hair on the pillows, dirty stained towel under the sham and needed cream and sugar for coffee that no one knew where it was. Have to call to order breakfast and the pool was closed.
Great Staff! Check in was fast and check out was even faster! Beds are very comfy! And the breakfast was the perfect ending to a great stay. I will definitely be coming back soon. This hotel is highly recommended!
Check in was easy. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. Parking lot is very close so you do not have to walk too far. It was raining when we arrived so I was happy for that. A nice stay.
Very friendly staff! --- Very good value! Had a great stay!
Order a room online showed up was told it would be an extra $100 for the room we picked. Then went to put room and someone else was already booked in that room. Then we get a second room and the new key cards didnt work so had to go back and get the correct cards for our room and only one of the two worked. Also pretty sure a worker was methed up.
My stay was great I have no complaints. Great staff very friendly. Check in was fast and easy! Rooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfy! I would definitely stay here again.
The outside of the hotel was very unsafe feeling, litter scattered everywhere. I entered the hotel to check in and the lady behind the desk was rude. She didnt welcome me, she asked what I needed. She also was not masked during a mask mandate and signs all around stating everyone needs to be masked. We stayed on the 3rd floor with 3 kids. The entire 3rd floor reaked of Marijuana. Our room was hot walking into it. The air conditioner was not turned on. The hospitality of this place severely lacks. I also got bed bugs from my stay. My legs are covered in bites. I would not recommend anyone to waste their money here.
The outside of this hotel and the reviews do not do it justice. The front desk staff were nice and helpful, the bed was like a pillow, when we called the front desk for towels service was quick, the pool was nice and relaxing, and the option to order sausage and eggs instead of just continental breakfast was a welcome surprise. I would recommend this place to any family or friend!
Stayed here after we had a fire. They were great! Gave us a great rate, waved the pet fee even gave us a couple free wonderful frozen meals when the restaurant was closed. They went out of their way to make a very bad time in our live much more comfortable and less costly. What other Inn would do this, none we could find in the Lansing Area.
My family rented banquet space and rooms for our family reunion. Everyone had a great time. It was nice to not have to travel from one venue to the other. Facility was clean and staff were helpful
Good time! But the wait time for requests was ridiculous! Other than that they were polite and clean
There were things that wasnt working properly or missing from the room that was rented for a handicap person..
WARNING !! What a joke. If I can give this place 0 rating, I would. You pay 98.00 plus tax, a night to stay at a βnice hotelβ. Nope It was dirty and not even up to date. Which I can pay cheaper at super 8 with a more modern layout with better service. But we had a wedding reception that weekend. They didnβt take the time to fix anything. When we got there Friday night, there was leakage through the third floor to the second floor, some things were broken in the room we stayed in, so we decided to change rooms but they didnβt let us know that the $100 deposit we payed for before we got the room, would be applied to the new room. The African American employee, Bruce whom we met the next day of our stay, had stolen $300 from us so we had notified Curtis and Carlos (two managers). Curtis didnβt do anything about it as heβs just as guilty as Bruce. Carlos was great. He tried but unfortunately husband and I both let it go cause we were not from Michigan and knew itβll take a long time to get that money back.If you look at the parking lot, and how quiet the place is, you will know why.Waste your money elsewhere not here.
My family recently held an event here and everything turned out great. I really want to thank Liz and Tanja for making sure everything went perfect, and it did! I also want to thank the GM for being so generous and kind to my family and I during our troubled time weve recently went through. This hotel I highly recommend when it comes to the amazing staff who work really hard to make sure their guests are highly satisfied! Thank you Causeway Bay again for everything youve done for us !
Beautiful Hotel. Some were friendly but uninformed or sure of hotel operations. An example would be. Late check out @ 2. Electronic keys cancel at noon. Leaving my party locked out of the room. Beautiful hotel with only hot breakfast til 8am. Effective communication and friendly service and this could easily be a 5 star hotel. π₯
Brittany and the staff were very nice. The room was big, King size bed was great. Everything was Clean! Would stay here again..
I went for a conference. The night before was a big snow storm. The parking lot was not plowed the morning of the conference, and it was quite treacherous just to get into the hotel. There was someone shoveling at the entrance, who offered to help when I was nearly to the shoveled area. The conference itself was nice, the rooms were well set up, and there was water offered in several places. The catered lunch was nice. They plowed the parking lot during our lunch. When we all left, several people had a hard time getting out. One of the managers was outside in freezing temperatures helping to push vehicles out, with no winter gear on. Overall, it wasnt a bad experience.
Completely enjoyed my stay. Very peaceful location. Hot tub in the bath room. Comfortable bed to sleep in. Unfortunately the pool and downstairs hot tub were not operable however the stay and staff were very pleasant. I would definitely stay again.
Great experience only stayed one night for daughters surgery. Had a standard suite. Room was clean, very nice. Id definitely come back again
The front desk staff is so friendly, and accommodating. The beds are some of the most comfortable beds Iβve ever slept in, and I wish I could take one home with me haha. Highly recommend!
The hotel is clean and offers great service. The hallways and rooms are spacious. From the outside the hotel does not look like much. However it is obvious the owner has spent money to refresh the place. Beds are confortable. They also offer a breakfast setup similar to a Hampton Inn.
Had a great weekend at Causeway bay. The beds are so comfortable and the staff was friendly.Highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel is great. Customer service is great. They have a big party room for big events such as marriages. It is my first recommendation for people willing to enjoy their marriage party in Lansing MI.
The hotel felt utilitarian to me and if thats what youre looking for its great. No fancy amenities or luxuries but a perfectly fine hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The guest rooms had a very light smell (not even a bad one, just old). Everything seemed just out of date enough that youd notice but not enough that it was really a problem. Location wasnt great but it was also priced accordingly. For a quick in and out business trip it does the job but I wouldnt go here seeking a fun accommodation.
Stayed here while in Lansing for business early November. Hotel is clean, staff were friendly and continental breakfast was included. The weight room and hot tub were helpful to keep my daily routine.
Hotel was nice and peaceful and clean. Its a large hotel so even when it was busy I was not disturbed. I stayed over a month waiting for my new home to be ready and they gave me a great rate.
The meeting places were pretty standard, but the chairs were especially uncomfortable. Perhaps this was due to the number of people in attendance. Overall the service was good. The amenities were purely standard. I would recommend this convention center to anyone needing a good location with plenty of parking in South Lansing. The Speedway gas station next door is particularly convenient for a quick snack. And the Lowes across the street is good for all those supplies you might need to make your presentation great - things to hang your posters, etc.
The quality you get for the cost is amazing! Wonderful room and amenities. It included anything I could have needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back. The only minor issue was that the wifi was congested.
Ive been staying here at the Causeway for the last 6 weeks for work training, and I have been completely amazed at how concerned and caring the staff is here. Better than family, its made my long stay here so much easier knowing that the staff here truly care about my visit.
I love this hotel. Very pretty, as wonderful, accommodating staff. Clean and the most comfortable beds Ive ever felt at a hotel. Quiet and relaxing. We will definitely be back!
Despite the reviews I read this is a decent hotel. Not five star nor four star. However if you just want a clean room with some space its an efficient place to stay. The continental breakfast was a plus. There was more than ample parking. Although thats likely because there were hardly any guest at this hotel. I saw the bar open Tuesday night Thursday night. On each night I didnt see more than two people inside. Drones dont have the best Decor in the world but are far from outdated. It was a better room than I expected for the cost. I will definitely stay here again.
This hotel is really nice. The banquet rooms and hospitality rooms are well equipped to handle any kind of gathering. The staff was amazing and very helpful. I was on the 5th floor, it was warm in the hallways, but not unbearable. The rooms were awesome. The beds are comfy, the whole room was clean. I would check the ac though, I had it set at 60 and it was much warmer than that. Otherwise everything was great.
Comfortable, clean, updated room and bed. Fairly thin doors, so heard plenty of hall noise, but we ended up playing some (very quiet) ambient music on our phone and slept through the night without any problems. Convenient mini fridge and microwave in the room. We stayed in a 1-king bedroom and it was surprisingly open and bigger than expected. Would stay again.
We booked our hotel room in April for a disc golf tournament out here and when we got there we dropped our stuff off and went out to dinner with other people in the tournament. Got back showered. Ran our jacuzzi tub and it was absolutely filthy then as we were looking around there was make up on our door, none of our lamps had all the light bulbs in it, crumbs all over the floor, stains on the sheets . So we went to the front desk. Complained they offered to switch us rooms... we said no thanks its already midnight and we need to be up early and asked if someone could just please clean our room while we were gone the next day. We got back around 5pm only to have new towels and our bed made... nothing was cleaned or touched other then that. So we went back they switched our room and discounted us half off of one night. The staff we talked to that afternoon was super kind and apologetic but the room was disgusting and I was super unhappy when we came back it was still a disaster. We also booked here because it was supposed to have a bar and pool tables and they informed us that they were closed and only open for events and not just normal stays so that was very misleading on their website. The pool was also down for maintenance...The hole place and stay was just a hot mess.I will not book here again.
I have stayed at Causeway Bay Hotel numerous times over the years when I come to town to visit family. I always return. The rooms are clean and comfortable and of course the pool and hot tub are always nice after long day!
I dont even know where to begin.Parking lot just felt seedy and unsafe. We found out when we got there that the pool and hot tub were out of service... There was a small piece of paper taped to the desk informing people of this... I didnt see this and the staff said nothing. Thankfully my wife did.As guests came to the desk complaining about the pool, they were rudely all told there were no discounts.Heres the worst part.I booked a week early to get a room with a King bed and Jacuzzi. Upon arrival, Im informed (rudely again) that those rooms are already sold out.Yes. I reserved a room and they gave it to someone else by the time I came to check in at 5pm.We left and went somewhere else... with a pool and customer service.
Room was nice. Bed was comfortable and clean. It doesnt attract the best crowd at events they hold. Pool was broken/closed and thats why we chose this hotel - for the pool! They didnt want to address that in any way for us even when asking. Breakfast was good. Check in took a long time, 20+ minutes.
This place used to be a 5 star hotel. Its sad what it has become.
Went to the ballroom for a party. The ballroom was very nice. The hotel has been here for many many years and looks the same as it did 10 years ago. I think if it was updated this would be a great place to stay.
Great place! Roomy! Lots of pillows! Easy in and out and easy to get good food and drinks! Clean and well kept!
Hotel was very clean and lots of nice art and details to make it look really good. Nice breakfast, nice rooms that are clean too. I would stay here again. Could work on front desk associates friendliness/communication with each other, it didnt seem to match the atmosphere that was top notch.
Went here for a collegiate dance competition. Stayed the night and nothing seemed out of order, pretty standard hotel. Lobby looked nice and they had a decent free breakfast, but nothing amazing. Bar was disappointingly slim on alcohol options, but I guess you cant hope for much at hotel bars. The ballroom looked really nice and it was a great place to dance.
I loved the visit to the cas way for my sistwr in laws quince. You guys made it a dream come true for her. Your hotel was well kept staff were super friendly... Love the chandlers!! Also I love how late you guys allow parties. The place was very clean! Thank you for making her dreams come true!!
Too far to get to the elevators and the parking lot. Bar not open at listed time. Restaurant not open. Pool freezing. Jacuzzi permanently out of order. No roller to hold bathroom tissue. Torn bedskirt hanging. Not at all handicap friendly. Very disappointed.
The hotel looked fancy, and the rooms were fine, just smaller than expected. Ive paid less for better rooms and breakfast at highway hotels so I was surprised at how little my money got me here. The lobby is gorgeous, and the bar was nice. Dinner was awful, but the bartender was a sweetheart. Front desk staff was absolutely terrible, messed up my reservation multiple times, overcharged me after the fact, and you can expect to be put on hold for 15 minutes every time you call. Also took almost a half hour to check in. I wouldnt stay there again, but it wasnt a terrible experience.
This place is interesting. 70s decor in the lobby areas which is kind of nice. Room was modernly furnished though. Our room smelled kind of bad. Pretty sure the heater fan was the source of the smell so ymmv. Breakfast was pretty basic but good.
Love it! I wish there was better parking. You have to walk a little ways and there should be elevators on each side of the hallways. Very nice and clean.
Clean rooms and friendly staff. The building itself was really cool with neat art and statues. Felt like a mini museum almost. Only problem seemed to be with lighting. One of the elevators was completely dark and we had the lights in our rooms dim a few times.
I loved my stay! The room was very clean, no bedbugs. Everything was neat and up to date. The staff was very friendly! Ill definitely stay there again when Im in town.
This is not the nicest hotel Ive been to. But if you are looking to host a big event you get what you pay for. The staff here does the best they can for what they get paid and they put forth more effort than the staff at a super 8. This building should be remodeled inside and out. There is so much potential in this place.
Hotel was nice. It was way nicer inside then outside. Service was okay. I was double charged for 1 night. Still trying to get that corrected. The lady at the front desk was really confused. Had to have assistance with the computer the whole time. Even charged our roll away to our friends room. I heard of 2 rooms not having shower curtains.
The front lobby staff was very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were very clean and nice the entire complex which is very large was also very well-kept up.I was here on a Tuesday the restaurant was not open for dinner so I had to leave to find a restaurant but there are many places within a mile to eat
I wouldve given 5 stars had the sauna, Jacuzzi and pool all been operational, plus the morning breakfast my first morning there was seriously lacking. Other than that, this place had very courteous staff and the place was simply amazing to look at on the inside and the rooms were quite amazing as well. I loved the Koi pond too.
You would think that you could buy a hot dog for a pool tournament or hot sauce in a bloody Mary. But, NO they have greasy chicken wings. No pool player wants grease on their fingers. Not even a burger. No wonder players were ordering OUT. And dont get me started on the heat in the room. Lucky for everyone they opened the garage doors. Then we move on to the trash in the room. Ive been to 100s, of pool tournaments and this is the first facility that doesnt have trash cans in the room. There is bottles, cans, pizza boxes, candy wrappers on ALL tables. No place to put trash.
Nice place to stay the night
We stayed at this hotel while we were in town for a girls volleyball tournament. We checked in (past the bar area where people were hanging outside cursing loudly), got our room key. We proceeded to our floor to find it very loud with running kids (it was 10;30 at night), got to the room that had empty beer bottles and trash along with no bedding. Went back to lobby to get another room key - same thing - dirty room. Went back down again and got handed a key that belonged to an occupied room. While we were at the front desk, two people came to the desk to complain about the noise on their floors and another lady came down to report she had been given a room with two people sleeping in it. My parents also had a room here and reported finding pizza and pizza boxes in their closet. In the morning, the breakfast area ran out of food. And knowing all of this and calling to talk to a manager to report our experience, there was no offer of discounting our room or making any amends whatsoever. Horrible experience, stay somewhere else!
We had a lovely time on the 4th floor. Felt like we were put at the far end of the hotel at first, but it really worked out in our favor. Pool and hot tub and sauna were nice and relaxing with towels available. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, but hey, it was free breakfast.
First thought: wow this place is old. As I got closer it looked decently kept up. When I walked in, it was very clean and welcoming. It wasnt the fanciest place Ive ever been but it was nice for what it is. I would consider staying here.
Please do not host any events here. The staff is mediocre and rude. We had to ask the front desk for help and they were very reluctant. The venue was for our wedding and it is wasnt even cleaned beforehand. The tablecloths were dirty, stained from coffee and oil. We had 30+ tables with stained tablecloths. The floor was filled with crumbs and debris from another event. No one swept it. Instead I was handed a broom and the staff left. We attempted to hide stains with our table runners but alas it didnt work. I was stuck doing everything for my wedding when we were informed that their staff would be on hand. Please do not host anything here! After our wedding we stayed at the hotel suite for the night, next morning we hear a knock and before we could get up the house keeping lady already busted herself halfway through the door. Luckily I had the lock up. Check out was at noon she was there at 10:30! Uhh Hello, let us sleep! After making the manager aware of our horrible experience, they said they would refund us $200 out of the &2100 we paid for the venue. We checked out of the hotel September 4, we were just made aware today via email on September 14, that we owed a balance for our stay. Interesting. 10 days later they let us know we never paid for our suite. So they decide to take it from our refund which leaves us $32. Makes no sense, I dont understand how this place runs.
It getting better
We checked in late at night and had a reservation so it went quick. Other people checking in at same time had no reservation and checking them in took an eternity. The carpet in the hallway to room was mislaid in places, as if not properly stretched. The room was fine. The parking seems inaccessible, even as its off the back of the building. The pool was closed during our visit. The treadmills in the fitness center clearly need service, the belts requiring tensioning. They were difficult to run on. Plus, when you ran on then they made horrid noise like they were coming apart. Fortunately, we are YMCA members and the hotel is a block from one. I went to the Y instead.
For my first time here it was really clean. A lot of people and they were nice. Good breakfast and all around good hotel. Wouldve gave it 5 stars if I had more time to explore.
The overall experience wasnt bad. They were misleading in saying they had two restaurants on site. The continental breakfast was a draw for us, but the bagels and pastries were dry and stale. Our room was nice, my only complaint there was the bathroom. The faucet leaked all over the counter whenever you used it. The shower wasnt cleaned well between guests. There was still hair in the tub.
I was just at event held there and had a really nice time. Ive read other negative reviews and wasnt sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and helpful staff were and with the quality of the food at the event. After talking with the others that were at the event we are working on booking a monthly event there.
I only stayed one night. The room was nice and the staff seemed friendly. The parking for the hotel is in the back and you have to walk around to get to the front desk. That can be an inconvenience for someone thatβs handicapped. The I stayed was big and the bathroom was clean. However the remote controls for the TV didnβt work and the front desk staff was unable to help with that. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
Hotel was very clean and quiet. All the decorations and decor were appropriate and classy. Only complaint was that the conference room was very cold. I didnt see any staff members or guests during my 8 hour stay there.
Stayed here for the assembly. Was very nice. Loved the garden and coy pond.
Breakfast bar us a joke. Eggs and potatoes. When one of those get empty then they bring out the meat....spring for another warmer....however, the one lady that was working...one of the nicest people I have ever met.
The hotel itself is very nice. It is clean and the rooms are well maintained. However, it took over an hour to check in when there were only 3 people ahead of us. The staff was incompetent and did not seem to care about making the guests wait. In addition the complimentary breakfast was quite a let down. The gravy and yogurt was never restocked when it ran out. This left very few options for what was already a limited selection.
Causeway Bay Lansing Hotel was a nice place. It seemed clean and I liked the decor in the bathrooms and the lighting as well. The chandeliers in the ballroom were beautiful. I was there for a work event and we had lunch served. The food was decent and then staff were very pleasant.
I was very happy with my stay. Very clean had no problems they were pet friendly and handicap accessible.. I would definitely return!!
MY OPINION,....I stayed here for New Years along with 20 of our friends for a party that was advertised. Dinner was to be at 9 and werent served until after 1030, after we asked were r food was, meanwhile everyone else already ate dessert... Then they ran out of food, and then promised Hot Breakfast from their restaurant, which their cook didnt show up that day, so they tried to pass of donuts from continental. They let the Hookers into our private party, along with another party... People in the other party got ripped off... When we went to talk to manager about the things they promised and we didnt get, they didnt care.. Said sorry.. Still have not made it right.. Over charged numerous people $50.00 in our party. We called the next week to try and get refunds, even after providing pictures of their staffs mishaps, they still will not refund the overcharges or any refunds of not getting dinner and breakfast, when we paid extra for this new years package... This is the kind of establishment that needs a class action lawsuit against... DO NOT STAY HERE...
The room we stayed in seemed nice and slightly bigger than other hotels. The bed was comfy too. The biggest complaint I had was how easily sound traveled through the halls and doors. I would stay here again next time Im looking at hotels in the area.
Decently priced room for what you get. First day breakfast was great but the next day they had half the food available. Overall good hotel.
