They dont stand behind their products. Purchased a Cold & Hot Therapy tub from this company. Both were delivered broken. Took months to replace. Then within the first year the motor went out on the Hot tub. The company sent me a new motor. It was bigger than the original motor and did not fit. I was told they didnt make the original motor any more. I had to pay a plumber to fit the new motor in and rearrange the piping so the new motor would fit. Company would not pay for the plumber. Then, less than 2.5 years after purchase, the hot tub shell started blistering on the inside. I contacted the company and they no longer sell this product because It is a product we cannot stand behind. Obviously a defective product from the start. They offered me $1000 off the price of purchasing a new hot tub from them. However, shipping would almost eat up the $1000 savings. Purchasing a new one locally would save me shipping so I asked if they would be willing to send me a check for the $1000 since I only received 2.5 years of service out of a product that should last 5 -10 years. I wanted to purchase a new one locally to save shipping and actually be able to recoup some of the costs. They would not pay the $1000. They only offered me a pathetic compensation packet of $500 retail value of chemicals and filters. Even if they no longer carry a product, they should stand behind what they sell, especially a product that costs as much as a hot tub. Why would I consider purchasing another from them. Very Disappointed and I would think twice before purchasing from them.

Worked with me on price. Great experience. Their delivery team was the best though. Ended up installed our tub in the pouring rain, didnt rush or complain. Great service

After we bought our Jacuzzi from Hotwater works in 2013 we did have a couple minor issues that were actually more of a user error rather then the spa itself but they had service there that same day to solve the issue which I was very impressed with because they have been busy anytime Ive been in there. The hot tub is Amazing and the store staff is always helpful and laid back you feel like a friend walking in. James the owner has his own art on the walls and his own piano on the showroom floor that my kids had a blast with. Thanks everyone!!!

This is not your typical Hot Tub Store. There is something to be desired in the experience of this building. James McFarland was a good guy, and he will be missed. I hope that hot water works will continue to thrive in Lansing. For those that knew James, you will be reminded of him the minute you walk in the door, and for those that did not know him, visiting Hot Water Works may give you some insight into the legacy he left behind. Thank you to Jims family and to Hot Water Works for remaining to be more than typical, and for refusing to compromise a vision.
