Service itself was excellent. They ordered the window and scheduled the appointment without me having to go in, much appreciated. Price was great. However, my car reeks of smoke. It is so bad you can smell it when standing next to the car and the interior was so severe it triggered an asthma attack. When I called they said they probably forgot to use Febreeze. DO NOT SMOKE IN THE CUSTOMERS CAR!!! Some of us are very careful to keep odors out of our cars. I am now going to have to pay for a detail to see if that will remove the problem. Window repair seemed good, loss of stars due to smoke issue. I can hear broken glass rattling in the door, but was warned that would happen.

A nice and honest glass company! Have had windshield chips repaired there as well as a new windshield, always great service. Took a recently purchased vehicle in, wasnt sure if the chip had been repaired or not, and they were honest enough to know it had already been repaired!! So awsome.

Wife brought her vehicle in and we cannot get the cigarette smoke out of the vehicle. How unprofessional of a business to return your vehicle to you, covered in cigarette smoke!? Deserves negative 5 stars! This is unbelievable!!

This is the first time I have ever felt the need to leave a review. I just had my windshield replaced (out of pocket) they go out of their way to treat each person as an individual and help the best they can, as I saw first hand while waiting, which was not long.Very friendly and Hospitable. This was my first time here. I will highly recommend them to everyone. Support your local, family owned business!! If Thick reads these reviews, I want to say thank you again.

The work was wonderful and fast. Employees were very helpful. Only complaint is that while they were working on my car someone clearly smoked inside. Ashes on the dash and steering wheel. I’m not a smoker and don’t like the smell of it, but now my car smells like an ash tray.

Wow these people are wonderful. I had taken a glass template to a glass place on Lapeer Rd. Asked for 20 pieces exactly the same. No only did they cut every piece wrong they charged me over $30. They did however refund my money. I then went to Thicks. Tada perfectly cuts pieces at a much much lower price. Will be their customer forever.

Scheduling was easy. Definitely an old fashioned business but they know their stuff and price their work fairly. Sometimes they are rather gruff but if you can look past that you cant go wrong with supporting a local business.

This is a totally customer oriented business. They went way out of their way to help me, and did a fantastic job on my windshield! Friendly, kind service.

Certainly deserves less than 1. Negative 5 would be more appropriate. Every time Ive needed glass replacement or service Ive come here. Now I live very far away. I happened to have an appointment in town and called to see if I could get a piece of glass (that I had) cut while I wait during my brief run to Lapeer. Its for an antique frame I refinished as a wedding gift. The gentleman on the phone was kind and said they could. I was so happy. That was until I arrived and the mean crotchety old lady in the front scowled, youll have to leave and come back. I explained my situation and phone call to which she replied, well Im not dropping a windshield to cut your piece of glass. This while a rude customer found it appropriate to laugh. I certainly wouldnt expect someone to drop a customer windshield. So thank you for bursting my bubble of getting the glass cut, treating a customer like a problem, embarrassing me in front of others and losing a customer (with a small, unimportant order). Wow. I didnt even know what to say so I looked at her in shock and left. Now I will never recommend someone to this business and Ill broadcast that fact. In fact, they should lose business based on the face (((shiver))) of the reception line.
