Inside was pretty good along with the pump area. However, this location apparently allows locals to “reserve” parking with their private vehicles. This place has lots of spots, but a bunch are taken up by locals who save them. Sure hope someone is making money off of that and all the dropped trailers taking up space. Beware of the horrible driveway/road for trucks into this location.

Great stop! The showers were clean and they provide a towel, face cloth and bath mat. Showers were $13 and well worth the money. Got to freshen up while on a road trip. Highly recommended!

Change this place to a loves or QTs, 3 burnout semis with a large meteorite crater in the truck entrance, building close after a certain time assuming 5pm or 1700 military time because it looks suspicious and suspect. No receipts half the fuel pumps are down, no lights. Dark as hell not well lit, cant see anything assuming you have to be your own security on guard all night even until daybreak through the day. If they the community replace and rebuild this place it needs to be either a gated pre-paid and pre-entry paid QTs or loves secured lot. Just woke up on the 10th and during my pre-trip notice someone out there is siphoning fuel from trucks.

Great service from staff. Showers are always cleaned & maintained. Subway is very nice for a healthy choice but has all the fast food spots surrounding it. Having a bike trail right behind it is wonderful. Go along the bayou there!!!

Horribly managed pilot. Locals parking personal vehicles and trailers in truck spots denying otr drivers a place to park. Manager allows this to go on. Locals are not spending money here so makes no sense when otr drivers spend Avg of 40 to 60 bucks per night when they park. Dirty restrooms .

The place is small, antiquated, but the foods good, the people dont hassle you, and the facilities clean. Sidenote: stop here and pick up a CD from my brother in the hustle, Big Lou of Nap Boy Ent., an up and coming musician, self promoter, and friend.

It was a dark and rainy night. We had been on the road for the past 24 hours. To be honest we were a bit lots, and low on fuel. Then we saw the Pilot sign.The staff was very friendly and helpful. We fueled up, got a Sub for a late dinner, found a spot to park and crashed in our beds.The next morning we got some tasty hot coffee and muffins for breakfast. We were well rested and no longer lost. Well, mostly not lost, like only 30% lost.Thank you Pilot for being there when we needed you.

I highly recommend that you do not shop here. They no longer carry change and they will steal your money. Instead of giving you your correct change, they now round up to the nearest dollar and keep your change. We cant become a cashless society. Not everyone carries credit or debit. I will be contacting the BBB about this, but you should avoid going into this gas station. Theyre stealing from us.

Very clean on the inside, a McDonalds and Subway are a short walk from any truck parking spot. However, there are usually cars parked in truck parking spaces, dropped trailers, and trucks parked in the way between the entrance and the fuel pumps.

Wow what customer service. The road outside is flooded and closed so they were basically empty. I was trying to get fuel and the pumps were having fits and not working. The manager seen my frustration chased me down outside and got the pumps working properly. I wished I remembered his name. Loved the service I received.

Good spot right off the expressway. Large food area, with good drinks and candy/snack selection. Bathrooms were a bit dirty but not disgusting. Theyre gas pumps are brand new and nice.

Excellent customer service! Was told by another Pilot in St. Rose that they do not accept T-Check payments. I filed a complaint with their Corporate office because they were the ONLY Pilot in the US not accepting it.This Pilot in Laplace, LA was more than happy to take my payment, better staffed, and cleaner. I wish I would have came here first.Thank you so much!

There is a guy in there that I just encountered works there. Wonderful attitude Friendly and just happy if pilot had all employees like this. They would be the best hands down. They guy made my morning

Store is clean, parking lot could be picked up and there is always a huge pool of water at the truck entrance but nothing that would effect your stay here. Very conveniently located near i10 and i55. Subway and truck stop food inside. Lots of fast food to choose from within throwing distance. Usually can find a free truck parking space up until about 1800. Would def. Recommend.

This is a nice truckstop but they need to take care of that ditch filled with water trailer floor high that they call Truck Entrance before somebody gets stuck in it....this is the only truck stop known in existence where truck entrance has been transformed into a swimming pool with perfect rocky coral reef bottom, and you even dont have to get out of your truck to get your feet wet because the water is at the cab level....INGENIOUS !!!!2/1/21Welcome to Pilot in Chaosville, LA where nothing works, computer system is down - no gas, no fuel and cash onlyBTW, thanks for fixing the swimming pool ( AKA truck entrance) issue - now its deeper and rockier than ever...way to go FJ / PILOT !!!

First impression was not a friendly place. Most pilots or flying j Ive been to your greeted as soon as you walk through the door. Cashier acted like she didnt see me as I stood right in front of her. Trying to get my reserved parking ticket. While she was starring at some guys renovating the place as if she was concerned or in the need to supervise them. Started talking to some guy outta the blue. Still not acknowledging I was there. However the next morning was a different story. Didnt get gentlemans name working but he had a great attitude. Aside from part of the store being renovated store, bathrooms and showers were clean. Store well stocked and variety of grab an go snacks, food and drink.

Sketchy parking lot no lights and lots of abandoned equipment and you definitely can tell when the weeds are growing thru the junk

Came inside because they have a Dunkin Express. Other then the sign on the door that states if you have covid19 not to come in, you would think there was no pandemic.. No one is wearing mask, not even the employees handling the food, or the ones at the subway inside. As for the donuts, well its self service, and I changed my mind after seeing a customer open the cabinet and grab his donuts with his dirty bare hands. Parts of his fingers touched the donuts next to each of ones he choose. No thanks.. Told the manager what happened and got the equivalent of oh well responce. Great place to come in and catch Corona..

Everything is here comfort food, hot food. Any drink you can think of... Clean store and restrooms and a station to change baby diapers. Also has a restaurant connect to the station Subway.. Gas, diesel, handicap accessible from Front door to the restrooms.. Very accommodate to everyone.

One of the employees hollowering louder then the message that plays. Loves is better at least they have a little bit of everything thing out to eat. Nothing, for truck drivers unless u want a subway.

I can always find/get whatever I need if I need something when traveling between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. They have *everything* and are always fast and extremely helpful. Last visit I forgot my phone/wallet case on the drink counter. The cashier noticed and grabbed it immediately! I was out of the store maybe 10 minutes but it was behind the counter when we got back. (THANK YOU SO MUCH!!)

If youre a local then its a great place for you because from what I can tell the locals take up the parking spots with their personal vehicles while theyre making their deliveries. Im sure that works out great for them but when a long haul driver needs a place to park its not so great. We always try to use Pilot/Flying J over the other truck stop chains and most of the time Im a happy customer. The customer service could use some improvements and the hot deli items werent fresh. On a positive note, the lady making the coffee was super sweet and very attentive to her customers.

I must say this particular chain with what Ive been told was recent management changes its getting better I would have given them five stars but they still have some work to do in the parking lot for the commercial trucks as in cleanliness and number of spots the options inside the store are awesome and the cleanliness inside the store is pretty good but the cleanliness outside the store is not very appealing and what good is it to have an awesome convenience store if your biggest customers cannot get in there to find a place to park so that they can get to the store?

Well we were hungry after a long night of celebration the waffle House was packed with all the out of town visitors that attended the biker anniversary party they had a Subway that stays open 24 hrs we got subs and snacks from the other side workers were polite and conversational and patient cause we couldnt make our minds up keep up the good work

The truck entrance had what appeared to be a very large but shallow puddle of water blocking the way. Trucks were coming and going so I pulled through it with my low to the ground car hauler. The bottom dropped out once i started into the puddle and it was very deep. Water got into my electrical components and now im waiting on a mechanic! Fix this pilot! Im so angry this has cost me time, money and a night at home with my family!

One of the lowest gasoline prices, friendly employees, clean restrooms, a place to get a quick snack. If you need motor oil or a headlight for your vehicle they have it. They also have electronics: CB radios, dash cams, TVs and antennas for the TV, movies. They are wheel chair accessible.

I like these kinds of fueling stations as the are much likened to a mini-mart or a convenience store.Get your gas outside, which is normally cheaper than most stations and get snacks and them some on the inside. Alcohol, beer and wine are all available, whatever your pleasure.Watch out for the semi-trucks in the rear, they come in to park & refresh. Did I mention the showers??? Yeah they use them. Makes sense.

Very big parking lot. Showers were very clean. Lots of different food stores near by to choose from. Great location.

The staff there at the pilot or a very nice easy-going. And are willing to help out truck drivers and other patrons as much as they can. Happy is one of the happiest people that works there and I find him to be one of the most awesome people working for the pilot flying J company.

The coffee here (bean to cup grind machine) is the best convenient store, truck stop coffee I have found.

Lots of snacks and drinks to choose from. Also have a hot food section with normal gas station food hot dogs corn dogs nachos. Also has a subway connected if you want a sandwich. Can be very busy at times

Took shower. Handicap the shower chair was over half the show stall. Wont go back to that 1. The chair also leaned forward so u had to try not to slide off. No hot water. The shower was wet, thats all I can say about it.

Good place. Nice friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Quiet parking lot at night, lots of garbage cans. Parking lot was a little tight but prime parking was empty. We stopped for a 10 hour break on a weekend and had no issues. Definitely marked to come back when in the area again

This may not be something that you look for when stopping to fill up.

Its an extremely clean place, even the bathrooms. The employees are very helpful and friendly. For example, I was at the counter checking out. When the cashier got to a certain product, she informed me that I could get them at Walmart in greater quantity and for much cheaper. Not many people would do that.

The staff was super friendly and nice. It was very clean and smelt nice which here lately is hard to find at truck stops. The showers were very clean which is awesome. Nice parking for truckers.

I remember why I dislike parking here. Pulled in last night parking lot wide open. Trucks have the entrance blocked so only one can get in and out at time. Wake up 5 wide off the curb. The folks inside did not care when the situation was brought up.

Fast and friendly service, all the staff greeted me with a smile. The restrooms needed a little tending to, but some of us truck drivers treat those things hard. Worth stopping by again.

My family and I Were traveling . so it was very important for us to find a clean rest spot. we love pilot.

I stopped here two months ago, and the ice dispenser did not work on the soda fountain. There was a sign directing everyone to use Subways ice.Today, its still broken. The sign is still there, to go to Subway.Just in case you thought that this Pilot cares, be assured that they do not. Your time, convenience, and prolonged irritation means nothing.

As a non trucker I like pilot because they are all laid out pretty much the same, so if ur moving fast like me it helps.. Restroom are usually clean. You can get truck stop food and sometimes something a little healthier.. Gas price is usually average..

2 months ago It used to be terrible, maybe new manager? Bc the COFFEE isnt always fresh or French vanilla working. But... Monday the cashier was very cool and when I used my points to buy my COFFEE I was short 16 cents and was about to use a credit card, She said dont worry about it. +1star 😉

When you first see it it comes as dirty. No paper towels for washing windows on the lanes. There was 2 buckets that I saw of soapy water. Both almost empty. Trash overflowing in one of the outside trash cans. Bathrooms needed cleaning. Long line of customers waiting inside to pay for merchandise. Needs renovations. While the gas lanes need work, the showers were clean and well-maintained. Staff inside was friendly. They have a lot of stuff... Not the best but seen worse.

6:15am. The ladies restroom was a mess.1 person on cash. 10 people in line.After line up was down to 2 people. A girl came out to counter from the back. Started mumbling to guy on cash.I cant find....... then slowly went to other cash. To help last guy in line.Not impressed with Cash counter performance.

The subway breaks my appetite!!The cheese was down to the bottom and I noticed lettuce and who knows what else.I informed the employee and she takes 1 pc out and then mixes it up like she doesnt see it!! I politely declined the sandwich.Im a truck driver not a dog!Oh and i dont eat lettuce it makes me sick.Never stopping there again for anything

The lady, Tashia inside Subway was extremely rude being extreamly short with me, rolling her eyes at me when I asked her to warm the breakfast egg separately for me, and making it a point to throw the change on the counter. Not the only one either the following 2 customers got similar treatment. NO ONE NEEDS TO DEAL WITH A PERSON THAT HATES HER JOB SO MUCH THIS EARLY IN THE MORNING !!!!!

Competition across i10 is better by comparison. Flying j isnt bad typically in Texas its so good its packed and spots to park are very limited. Just that on the other side of i10 is a shell that sets the standard so I always stop by it even if flying j is my fuel stop, why go in just to be disappointed. Get your gas and go down to shell plenty of spots to park not taken up by cars. Nice drivers lounge so enjoy your playoffs plus the casino for those wishing to throw away a quick 20bucks in good fun. Id recommend flying j keep those cars out of your truck parking get a drivers lounge since we have all been stuck in LA at some point due to flooding and clean your restrooms and Ill check in next time I stop for gas to revise this post Goodluck and see you soon.

Didnt look like anything great from the outside, but the inside was very clean. Large selection of drinks and snacks. The bathrooms are very nice on the inside-they look like theyve been rennovated. The whole place was clean and the Subway was well kept and clean as well.
