Purchased a Kia forte last year about 7 months into owning the car the trunk would not open with the latch only the remote. I called had it replaced with the warranty. Soon after I started with problems with the same latch but to my gas door. I called they had it looked told me it didnt do it while at the shop. But that the latch was hard to just pull on it harder. I call back again because it is doing it again on every gas refill. Took the car in again and again sopposely the tech could not duplicate it. They open the tech line who ordered the techs at the shop to replace the gas door so about two weeks later I took it back and they replaced it. Here I am again week and a half calling Kia back because it continues to do the same and not open when pulling on latch. Service department seems to be annoyed by me going almost every week for the past 2_3 months. Really had awesome service the first couple times I went but now Im just irritated that the person who answered the phone seems like I just want to be going in to play or joke around when clearly they have seen several videos of my door locking up. I would not recommend Kia anymore.

As most people do, I hate to go through the car purchase experience. Mostly because of the back and forth haggling of the price. I went to Sames Kia having done plenty of research on the vehicle I was interested in and even had my own bank of choice loan approval at hand. I had seen same vehicle in San Antonio and Austin at a much cheaper price. I truly wanted to buy local rather than going out of town. But after giving local dealership an opportunity for my business, I found that it was impossible. They were unwilling to price match or even come close. I went ahead and made the trip to San Antonio and had a haggle free experience at World Car. Im going to be purchasing a truck in a couple of months. I know it wont be here in Laredo.

Horrible experience here! They still use the four square method which is designed to be a shell game. Google it and see how the stealership tricks you!Rodrigo Soto cannot do simple math and tried to do a bait and switch on my elderly mother. He will tell you what you want to hear, then change the numbers and say “Oh, I’m sorry I made a mistake” and expect you to pay for it.They are notorious for getting a bare bones car in and adding $3K of options. Window tint, pin striping, paint protection and others are huge profit centers for them and they ALL have them. Refuse to pay for it or better yet, go north to SA or Austin where they don’t try to screw you over. Pin striping is such a Laredo thing. Other dealers dont do it.We went through the Sam’s auto buying program and got a Honda (which is way better vehicle) for the same price as a crappy Kia.

Kia has exceptional service. Juan Garcin was an excellent guide when it came to me choosing the right vehicle. He answered all my questions and was very patient throughout the whole process. There is no doubt of me recommending my friends and family to Kia.

Josue Vásquez our salesman was onpoint. He has great customer service and communication. However be aware of financing department. They tried to put optional coverage in my contract without out my knowledge. Would recommend new buyers to double check everything you are being charged for before signing. Won’t be purchasing anything here again.

I scheduled a test drive tru Kia web site, received response within minutes from sames dealer to set day and time so, I did respond with details and the vehicle I was interested in received response again confirming and telling me they will be waiting for me to attend me, well i got there, no car ready,, nob ody was expecting me, they showed me some other car I was not interested in, and to add on, I wont mention any names but the sales person didnt have a minimal knowledge of the car they were showing me, I knew more just with a little bit of research I did on line at the Kia website, fail, and to make things worst the vehicle I scheduled for test drive was no longer in the lot and nobody had the courtesy to let me know . THANX SAMES KIA FOR WASTING MY TIME.

Not very good service, i know they are trying their best, however, service is terrible... the guy at service desk couldnt give me an update on my car. One tries to be patience but we do not want to get stuck with a high bill for things perhaps might not fix the problem. Sames Kia needs more help....

I have had my 2013 Kia Sorento for 6 years now. And have always gotten my vehicle serviced at Sames Kia for warranty purposes. I have never gone elsewhere. Manny at service department was always very respectful and always willing to help. Since they hired 2 new female employees(one named Sylvia Rodriguez) at service department, I dread taking my vehicle to get serviced. You can’t ever ask them a question without them replying in a rude condescending tone. I don’t like coming here and don’t trust the service staff.

Someone that is not that DM Thomas Pina please because since they are VERY close friends, he doesnt do sh... about it. This UNPROFESSIONAL manager is very rude. Every time I asked a question about the service for my Kia Sorento she would get frustrated AND WILL NOT KNOW WHAT TO RESPOND. She has not a single idea of what those mechanics are doing to the customers vehicles. YET, she gets mad at US THE CUSTOMERS and responds VERY RUDE. The other lady who I do not know her name is unprofessional too but I would have expected for her superior to be more polite. I NOW RATHER PAY SOMEWHERE ELSE TO NOT SEE THAT SYLVIAS FACE AGAIN. SOMEONE NEEDS TO FIRE HER!

When a manager got involved to discuss the numbers and said he was wasting time in our conversation...thats just a DISGRACE of so called manager in telling a customer about wasting his time. I dont think this individual should be in this business if he doesnt respect the customers. I would not recommend Sames Kia anymore.

I looked up and sent my retired parents to this location when they were traveling through Texas, their air conditioning drain pan had become clogged on their brand new kia and flooded their carpets. they refused to unclog it for free while they did the oil change service and charged them a extra 100$ to blow the tube out with compressed air. then they did not fix the check engine light or vacuum out the soaking wet carpet. Terrible service with no help from the service manager. They do not uphold the standards and quality you would expect from a corporate dealership.

My wife and I are happy owners of a 2016 Sedona. Story starts on a positive but no thanks to sames Kia. They seem like they dont want to sell cars. I could not get the right deal here. Their prices are thousands over the competition just 2 hours north. Also on several occasions Ive called the parts department for accessories and IF they answer the phone the parts are overpriced and they tell you that they have to install it at a additional cost.Take your business elsewhere, youll be happier.Dont pay attention the the first 2 reviews obviously they work for Sames.I recommend Ancira or any dealer thats not Sames.

Overall a good experience. However, some of the agreements, made locally, were not communicated to the finance company(i.e. I was told my first payment would be 45 days from purchase, but first payment was required 30 days from purchase.) This was not a big deal, but did catch me by surprise.In addition, floor mats were missing from the vehicle, pin striping had a small area that needs retouching and tire pressure gage is litten up. Sames has promised to resolve these issues, but have not due to my time restraints.Mr. Eduardo De La O is a great asset to Sames KIA. Mr. De La O was very helpful, and continues to follow-up on how happy I am with my purchase.
