Disappointing. Arrived and asked for 3 fillets all the same size and was able to see them, looked great about 6 to 8 oz each. After looking closely realized they were choice (my mistake) apologized for my mistake and asked for the same thing but want prime, was told no problem. Turned my attention to other selections from the case, sausage and grind. Young man that waited on me had absolutely not knowledge of cuts of meat, he had no idea what beef plate ribs are are what was in the house sausage available. Very odd to have him work a butcher shop counter ? Not sure it’s a actual full service butcher shop as advertised. Dumbfounded when I arrived home and saw my fillets, 3 cubes of beef that looked like stewing beef. Dumbfounded !!

Called in an order for beef ribs as I live an hour out of town and always use this shop, was told they would have them in two days and would call me back. They Never called back I showed up the day after they were supposed to let me know they were ready and was told they didn’t get them. No attempt to make it right. Thanks guys great job! Done defending your shop and will tell anyone that will listen to go elsewhere

This place has an excellent selection of meats and seafood. I was very impressed and didnt know what to get at first but decided on getting some breakfast sausage and some marinated pork chops. The staff here are very welcoming and provided excellent customer service. This place is worth checking out and the meats here all look fresh and ready for purchase. Ive order from this place a few times, but today was my last. I normally call in an order and they tell my it will arrive either the next Tuesday or Thursday. Each time, it takes 2.5 weeks for the order to actually arrive. This last time, they quoted me .99cents a pound for my 40lb order. 2.5 weeks later, Im told the price is now $2 a pound. When I told him the quoted price, he responded take it or leave it. If you want to wait on a product, pay twice market value, go here. He quoted me chicken breast at $5.99 a pound!

I cant rave enough about this place. They are so helpful and make sure were getting exactly what we need. The selection is extensive as well. I included pictures of steaks we bought and cooked this weekend. The quality was outstanding.

I went in looking for cuts, for my dogs. Came out with a lot of good product, for me and my dogs. Great customer service, from people who know what they are talking about.

Stopped in to grab a few steaks for dinner. I got a prime ribeye and my girlfriend got a prime filet. We also grabbed some of the Teri-que jerky. The Ribeye was very good, trimmed very well and the flavor was great. The filet was out of this world. Literally started to fall apart in the oven and the flavor was just amazing. The jerky looked different, a little dark and had a coating of the Teri-que. A little hesitant to try but so glad we did, it was excellent. Price for a 16oz ribeye was 24, 18 for an 8 oz filet and 9 for the jerky. Definitely worth every penny. We will be back!

Just finished a filet and my husband had the Tbone...EXCELLENT! We have more for the week but must say so far the meat is great and price is reasonable. Customer service was absolutely excellent. More than helpful and offered suggestions. We will definitely return and recommend...

Today was my first time in the butcher block. I had heard good things from other people and I will say, the experience was great. Peter was absolutely awesome when we walked in the door. Very friendly very much so, you tell me what you guys need and I got ya...and if you dont know what you need, I can make suggestions .This was perfect as we really had no clue what we wanted. the selection of meats was great including some exotic meats that I never heard of before. I ended up getting alligator which I will barbecue tomorrow.The young lady who worked the front counter whose name I believe is Hannah was great as well. Very sweet, kind and nature demeanor which helps when you have no idea what youre looking for, LOL.Everyone in the market was in full compliance with the mask mandate which also makes me feel safe about going back as well as, the staff taking seriously the possibility of being or causing someone else to get sick. This was great to see as is that is not necessarily the case most places now. Be sure to shop here and keep our local businesses alive and open 👍🏽👈🏽!

First time here. The full menu is not available. Only cold sandwiches for the next couple weeks. This means no hot sandwiches. It’s a shame, since they are advertised on the menu? Couldn’t get a straight answer as to why they cannot serve hot sandwiches. ☹️

Its extremely frustrating to rush to get to a place that says they are open until 7pm only to get here at 10 mins til 7pm to watch an employee lock the door! Why have hours of you dont follow them?? I will take my buisness elsewhere

Walked into store asked owner about Prime Rib. He said make up your mind I don’t have all day. Very very rude. I work in customer service and sales with a big company and I would never treat a customer the way he treated me. Plus have been there several times and I find there meat as average. Echo and Rig butcher shop is way more customer friendly and worth the price. So is Jon Muells. . I will never come back as he was so extremely rude and not sure how he stays in buisness when he treats people that way. Plus meat is averaging at best

Everytime I come here, the staff is super friendly, extremely helpful, and their meat is a cut above the rest and worth the price!

Prices are pretty Steep for just ok meat but the STAFF is very friendly and got me exactly what I wanted and they were even kind enough to through in some cheese cloth for when I start to dry age the rib roast I just bought bought. As far as service and people go theyre the reason I will most definitely be coming back here. thanks guys

Place was ok, however the smell was so overpowering I did not last more than two minutes in the place. I understand it is a butcher shop but the whole place should not be smelling like that. I understand if the back of the place was like that but just NO.

Very disappointed we used to get great meat here.First of all the staff wasnt wearing masks during this covid .Second of all the guy who helped me was applying chapstick and touching his face before he proceeded to handle my meat .I made him wash his hands.The pork chops we got were not fresh extremely slimy and obviously had been thawed for days . My steak was not fresh or the quality we usually get.

Went into the sandwich side - AWESOME! Subway or Butcher Block? Butcher Block. The freshness and taste was excellent!Purchased a potpourri of meats, crab cakes, and stuffed mushrooms. We will go back!

Fresh is not what you get. This is a meat store with thawed frozen meats. I was expecting a butcher shop with trained knowledgeable butchers. What I saw was a selection that was available elsewhere for half the price. Not a bad selection, but everything was frozen or just thawed. Nothing was fresh or freshly butchered. When I asked for a rack of ribs, I was offered a frozen solid rack that would take a day and a half to thaw. The sales person told me I could thaw it fast in water if I wanted to cook it soooner!!! Sorry, next time I want to buy thawed meat, I’ll just go to any supermarket.

This is the only place other than Costco to go for meat. Most grocery store butcher shops here are nasty, dont waste your time with them. For fresh quality cuts of meat this is the best spot in town.

I Will never go back to this location. This girl that works there is extremely rude. She doesn’t know how to package the meat and everything falls apart in the bag. I told the manager and he basically ignored me. They just lost my business

This place is horrible! I bought a top sirloin two days ago and just tried to cook it right now! Literally right now! And the steak started to spoil and rot and stuck to the the paper! I couldnt believe it, paid 13 bucks. I will never go there again! They claim to be fresh, yeah right, when the hell was the meat cut, a week ago! Im going back to Albertsons! At least I now the meat is fresh!

Came in to see what type of meats they had which was about everything. Ive been looking all over the place for Venison and they had over 4 different types. The staff was extremely friendly and left us alone while we were looking. Im telling you, they have every type of meat you could get your hands on and including seafood options too! If it has meat in the name, they have it.

Went in for a substitute to a pork sausage to make jambalaya and they only offered a chicken/spinach sausage. Wish they had a bigger selection for those that dont eat pork. Good customer service though.

Great quality meats and seafood. Clean looking . However called in advance to see if they can slice meat very thin and the guy on phone sarcastically said yes like I was dumb for not knowing.So I go, and the guy says he can cut it “paper thin” so I have them cut it and it is thick as shoe leather.Smiths and Albertsons do the same thing, they cannot slice meat thin.So The recipe did not come out right, and wasted good waygu beef.

When it comes to old fashioned butchershop quality, price should be no object. Butcher Block carries the best in town, unless you would like the upscale steaks in the casinos, but they come in at a much hire price.

I should correct my mistake in identifying the restaurants location. It is in Park City, Utah, and it may be managed by the same company.

I had their Beef Jerkey today! It was amazing. They have uncured cherry bacon I am going back for if I was headed home. Forget the grocery store meats this place is specatular for Fresh Meat.

Im giving them a 3 star based on how good the one in the South of Vegas is. I went to this one today because I go to the other one when I am at work. I ordered a French Dip for my wife, she has been in the hospital for 3 weeks with no food just a liquid diet, she has been dying for a French Dip. So I ordered her one got home and my wife says Its a philly cheese steak, and so I taste it and sure enough its a philly cheese steak. So I call the store because maybe the made a mistake no problem, and I tell the guy on the line the mistake they made a philly for a French Dip; and he proceeds to tell me theyre the same sandwich. If you cant tell the difference between a French dip and a philly cheese steak you shouldnt be making sandwiches at a store that sells sandwiches.Untill they get their act together I wont be returning.

In Vegas for NAB, then to cover the Sams Club regional BBQ contest, so we picked up a couple dry aged Wagyu ribeyes for dinner. Grilled them in the production coach & they are a good as I remember Wagyu being. Salt & pepper, medium rare.

Good stuff..Just over priced.not to much better than Smiths.30% more.. Definitely not a place to buy for a big party
