I called American Veteran Garage Door yesterday and they came out today to replace the door hinges which had broken off due to wear and tear. The technician explained what needed to be done with the price estimate before I approved the work. Both technicians were courteous and professional. Our garage door torsion and springs broke this morning. I started shopping around for the lowest price and the best warranty. American Veteran Garage Door was absolutely phenomenal today. Within 30 minutes of filing a home warranty claim they contacted me and set an appointment for the same day. The tech was here within a few hours and did an excellent job repairing our garage door opener. His name was Jaxon and he was just awesome.I highly recommend this company and this young man.On a side note, as a veteran myself, I appreciate that this company is owned by a veteran.

Appointment availability within 1 day. Showed up on time. Called before they arrived. Very pleasant interaction. Performed some preventative maintenance on both of my garage doors, even though only one of them was broken. Problem ended up being a malfunctioning wall control unit. Tech had a new one available on his truck and installed it in a few minutes. Job was offered at $100, which I was told was a discount from the regular $150. Doing some research after the fact, I learned that the panel is available for $30 ($25-$35) online. I didnt think the wall control panels went bad, but apparently they do (even after just 3 years after new install). Overall, a great experience (quick, competent, professional). Most places will charge a service fee of $50-60 before any work is done, so $100 for this job seemed fair. Will definitely call again in the future if needed.
