I went to this location to pick up stuff to make sandwiches. I bought turkey, ham, chicken breast, and salami from the deli. I bought lettuce, a tomato, and an avocado from produce. I also picked up some steak from the meat department and some sliced cheese from the dairy department. Overall spending about $75. My items were bagged and when I got home I was missing my avocado and tomato. I called the store and was on hold for 20 min before hanging up. I returned to the store and was given an attitude because I asked for my missing items. I spent $75 and they thought I was trying to steal $2.40. I knew there was a reason I usually shop at Albertsons.
Hours are until 11 pm unless the manager wants to go home early. I arrived at 10 to the hour and was told they were closed. When I pointed out it was not the posted hours I was told the manager would have to meet me.Once I met the manager she told me it was actually 10:55...? When asked why online AND over the phone it is advertised as 11. She said that it is because that is not her choice. Having been a manager at a retail.location myself, this is not how things operate. Pure laziness and lack of professional ethic.Even 10 minute before close, tell g your customers the doors are locked....(when they are obviously otherwise) I would venture to bet is not company policy.
The store was busy. However the lines were short. They had everything I was looking for.
I usually don’t visit this location because the parking lot is rather small and it’s usually high-volume because of Covid those are places I tend to try to avoid. But it was a last-minute situation and I decided to go in today it is a nice smiths it’s clean everything looked like it was in a convenient place there was a very long line for the self check out and only two cashiers were cashing people out so both of those lines were very long as well.
Usually a great store, but reduced staffing and burnt out employees is not good. Seems to have issues restocking a lot. Dont know if its a vendor issue or store issue. Most employees wearing masks properly. I would expect better out of store near training center.
Our checker, Robert, was exceptional in his service, attention to details, courtesy, and overall competence in completing our purchase transaction. Bagger Michael was also helpful and efficient during our checkout. These two employees are exceptional and made our shopping experience a breeze! Way to go, guys!

Ok so the chicken here ( deli department) is bomblicious! Suzanne was so sweet...however there was another girl Melanie in the deli department that was so very rude to me and I was not feeling her bad vibes. But the rest of my experience here was lovely so I wont let one bad apple ruin my experience. My husband and I will give our seal of approval!!

The lady working the self checkout was harassing and disrespecting a couple. Her actions justifies this review if you are working customer service you DO NOT FLIP OFF A CUSTOMER. She should no longer have a job at smiths
Produce abundantly available, wide variety of vegetables. Aisles fully stocked and a loads of products to choose from. Store clean and clerks informative and friendly. Enjoyed my shopping excursion at the store.
All Smiths stores have only frozen pre made bakery purchases. That is why I will go to real bake stores to buy real bread, cakes, cookies, and more. Smiths, Albertsons, Walmart, and all other grocery stores only heat up pre made garbage. Look for real bake shops only when purchasing bakery goods. Good luck!
Always well stocked reasonable prices and specials and the meat market is always stocked with me that you want in the butchers department always has fresh product really good place to shop I like it and reasonable and you get points when you use your Smith card save money

Cant believe some of the most common things are out stock. Carts and wheels broken and floors with big cracks and holes. Baggers that dont know how to bag, if you even get a bagger.
Allowing people to leave their carts EVERYWHERE and then proceed to remove the only person willing to hold people accountable. Freaking lazy bones.
Never staffed appropriately in Customer Service (makes its own hours; disregard the hours posted on Google) Youll get there n theyll be closed bc 1 person called off; but you have 4 managers walking around that can assist in that area. When the management is not being lazy which is close to never you cant find one. KLARA, thee pharmacist is sending out texts saying prescriptions are ready but you get there and theres 1 Pharmacist (just KLARA) so you HAVE TO wait 30.minutes until she eats her bologna sandwhich to pick up your medication. The proper communication should include lunch breaks to prevent inconveniencing the customer. Irritated is not the word to describe my MANYYY lack luster customer service experiences at this Smiths location. This location NEEDS to be taken over by a more skilled District and Store Manager considering the laziness of the staff has to be learned behavior from its leadership. An easier fix: CLOSE THE WHOLE STORE!

Smiths is my favorite and go to place for both groceries and the pharmacy. Ive been using their pharmacy for over 6 years and the staff and pharmacists are very friendly, conscientious when helping you. Ive never had a bad experience with the pharmacy or the staff.

My Chevy Silverado was almost stolen in their parking lot yesterday about 1pm they busted my lock and my ignition switch got my phone stolen out of my truck too so be careful shopping here or you could come out to no vehicle. I will never come back to this location ever again.
Smiths Food King on Decatur near Flamingo is the only place where I shop for groceries. It is clean and all the employees are very nice. I highly recommend it.
Will no longer shop at smiths. They charge for cash back even when you purchase groceries. I will travel the extra miles to Albertsons!

Deli staff are great depending on whos working. There could be more consistency. Its also 12:15 P.M. - noon meal time, and theyre out of hot deli meal items? Additionally theres a 15-20 minute wait to replenish?? 6 people in the deli with one stationed at a sample table? Not the best use of resources during peak lunch time. But theyre already AT work. Its a management issue!!

This store always closes before the posted closing time! Whether its 10pm, 11pm, or 12am they are never open until theyre supposed to be. The worst part is youll never know because what determines the closing time literally depends on whos working, sometimes its 10-15mins early, sometimes its 20+mins early. Extremely frustrating!😡

Good supermarket, expensive than most but I liked the ease of shopping, variety and convenient locations. Unfortunately on Thu 09/10 my bike got stolen from the front entrance. I got in at 5:56 PM and by 6:56 when I got out my bike was gone. Plain daylight, no one saw or said anything. My bike was steel chained to a fire lane post right next to the main road in front of entrance about 20 FT, high traffic area, right under a security camera (people, employees, but no physical security). I called next day to speak with Melissa, once I got a hold of her and explained the situation, vowed to call back with some kind of info I could use but Im still waiting. Well that bike is long gone and since I have to take taxis everywhere now might as well go to Walmart, theyre cheaper and I get 5% cash back with my card.Thank you and goodbye.

Horrible experience, will never return
I love this store. The cashiers are always very nice and chatty. My issue is with the pharmacist Carla or Clara. She refused to let me speak with her manager in regards to my husbands medication. He is epileptic and his life depends on these pills. The prescription bottle says last filled on 11-10-2020. I placed the order for refill 12-7-2020 and dont plan to pick it up until the 10th.I was told it will not be filled until the 14th because they base your refill off when you last picked it up. I explained I am immuno compromised and he has epilepsy so we try to limit our exposure outside so we dont get covid. She said this is company policy . Makes absolutely no sense. So basically he can be sitting here with no meds for 4 days because we decided to pick up the last prescription on the same day that my birth control was ready so we didnt have to go to a packed store 2x in a week. Got it!I will be filling a complaint with Jenny. A pharmacist who cares about her job and the way others are treated instead of disrespecting people over the phone. If I cant file a complaint there I will seek action with the store manager. Now is not the time to be pushing peoples buttons. Especially when youre holding their life in your hands.

This is a nice location. This was the first time I shopped at this location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was looking for items that were instock on the shelf and one of the staff went to the back stock room to see if there were any more. When I asked a question from the manager she offered to honor the sale price on another item that was sold out this day to honor it on a future shopping trip. The check out staff was very friendly. After checking out we found one of the items that was out of stock on the shelves but was on display in the front entrance that was closed. I was so happy because the item was on sale and there was a digital coupon that I downloaded that took more money off the item and allowed me to use it for five times on the same purchase. It was such a great buy. Make sure you get a Smiths 123 credit card because it acts as a reward card for shopping along with loading on digital coupons, points toward gas rewards and for every dollar you spend using the credit card you get points toward quarterly reward vouchers that act like a check on your next shopping trip.
Great shopping scene! But I want to know why management thinks its a good idea to cram customers through one point of entry/exit after 5pm especially during a pandemic. I’m officially frustrated.
Good products at fair prices
Smiths is my favorite grocery store. Some have more varieties of the same product. I have found the Summerlin and stores in the West of the Valley to offer the best variety of products. All of the store staffs are excellent.
Rude employee interactions every time I shop here. I only go back to see if they can top the rudeness of the last visit. It really is unbelievable. Its like that strip restaurant that makes fun of the customers as a gimmick. The product is fine and I get what I need which is all that really matters.
1st of all if the store just opened why would any employee have a look of disappointment about being at work ? I asked the young lady in the bakery for assistance and her entire demeanor was terrible and as I let her know after I said Good morning she claim to have a issue 2 days ago with her wisdom tooth.....stay home ? Similar situation with asking for assistance in meat department body language displayed negative attitude. This is nothing less than what is exhibited in mostly all the Smith stores.....my cashier and the manager was great. Get to training your associates better with interaction with the customers.

There were so many people, every check out has long line.I was at self checkout. There were some problems, when I tried to pay, it keeps asking for assistant. I was looking around for 10 good minutes, to finally see the two staffs.... more like two white girls in Smith’s uniforms having a good chat.When I went over & asked for help, the one with black uniform and tattooed arm, gave an ANNOYED look and came over, punched in her ID and walked back to continue their chatting... so rule.I am seriously considering getting a job at smiths, so I get paid to bullsh’t all day!

We stopped just for the Kroger brand Mesquite kettle chips, which are absolutely delicious and MUCH better than the name brand BBQ chips! We dont really shop at Smiths due to a bad experience at the Ann and Camino del Norte location, buy no problems here.

My husband and I had such a spectacular experience here. We needed catering for two days in a row. Terry and Sharon B plus the people from the Deli section went out of their way to get everything ready. Due to a miscommunication the second day order had not come in but right there and then the deli crew went above and beyond our expectations to get it done. The food was fresh and delicious, the presentation of the food was great but the service was Golden! Kudos to the whole deli team!
I am a customer of Smiths for more than 5 years, please check the cooking of the fried chicken and the wings, they all do it of very poor quality, dry, burnt, poorly prepared and even with old oil they are cooking, today 6/8 / 2020 they lost a customer, I will never return, I am sick of returning fried chicken to the store and it is in all Smiths stores. It is a great disrespect😡

Horrible customer service! I stopped by that store to buy some groceries and some drinks but I needed to use the mens restroom real bad (number 1) and the mens room was out of order. There were 2 people in line waiting to use the womens (individual use) restroom, so I asked the manager to please tell me where the other restrooms towards the back of the store were. The manager (her name is Sarah) indicated with her finger and said that way, but then she looked at me like looking down on me and refused to continue telling me like if I was a thief who wanted to steal from that store. In that moment, a worker was walking by and I asked her to please let me know where the other bathroom was and she was so kind of telling me but was interrupted by Sarah (the manager) who told her not to let me go to the other bathroom. Fortunately, another associate (Kimberley), who noticed the tension in the situation, stepped up and walked me to the other bathrooms door. When I came back towards the registers, the security guard was looking for me and he confessed that the manager (Sarah) instructed him to go check out what I was doing. That mamagers behavior was clear racial profiling and discrimination.I still purchased what I needed in that moment and left. Bad place. Not recommended
This is our local Smiths. We live between this one and the one on Trop and Jones. But this Smiths we love. The staff is great and the management are too. Nowadays rare to see such combo.Thank you all for your hard work. Our family appreciate each and everyone of you!

Diable vets are miss treated by this Smiths store!!The female manager at this store is rude and has no idea how to talk to poelpe. We were in line for the seniors shopping first thing in the morning. She was yelling at the line that you have to be 60 and over. Ok,,understood... however,when I tryed to tell her my husband was 65 and that I am 53. She yelled at me in the line that she had just told me that I had to be 65! I said but this is my husband and she yelled again I SAID YOU HAVE TO BE 65! But she wouldnt listen. No extra help was provided for the disabled so he could shop and I could stay outside! This manager should be fired for her inhumane way she treats others!
This has to be the most unfriendliest and unsafe Smiths in the whole city! I guarantee you if you stood by the door more than 20 minutes she would see someone shoplifting. After 6 p.m. barricade off one of the doors to combat stealing. You just dont have a peaceful easy feeling in the store. Dont believe me? Go find out for yourself
