Not the best customer service. They are lackadaisical and dont seem to have their customers interest, at heart. Waited over 30 minutes, to pick up plants, that were already paid for, no one seemed interested in helping me. I asked someone who I thought was a manager, but gave no help either. This is the normal level of service given at this location. I can think of a few other of their competitors that I would gladly frequent than this place. I do not recommend this business

I came here for buying mint. They had a lot of kinds mint! I was so happy! I bought the best mint with good price!! And I also bought peperomia too!! I loved them. They are cheaper than other online seller. And They gave me free ladybugs!!🐞 It was really good shopping. thank you so much!!

This location seems the best. There is a good variety of trees, shrubs, etc.I bought many fruit trees and shrubs. Wish they had a better return policy though in case the plant doesnt survive. 30 days is really not enough to find out and then $ 30-40 per tree is lost. I lost several unfortunately. Also I dont understand why they are selling some plants which actually are not recommended for the desert climate.

I am a loyal customer!! Love this place, but I do have to say, Ive been seeing alot of bugs around the plants lately - especially the ones stored indoors.Also, itd be awesome of they had some sort of rewards program to stack points or something. A little more variety in plants and pots would be awesome too.

Definitely our go to place to stock up on succulents and the correct soil mix for them.

This place is great. Several locations throughout the LV valley means easy access and good prices. Great selection.. some other nurseries have more variety but charge more.Bad news? During busy times/seasonally it may be difficult to find common landscaping plants as they get bought out. Check them later to see if they restocked or if another location has what you need.Gotta mention the staff! Never had a problem they are not always super knowledgeable but they are very helpful.

***Went here for the first time... I am not a real green thumb kinda gal but my daughter is... She love her succulents plants... She was looking for a plant for her room...***The store was huge and filled with so many choices of all kinds of plants and plant essentials... Outside there was a green house filled with rows and rows of more plants... i was more into all the vegetables and herbs that they had... i would love to have a garden filled with all thevegetables and herbs that they had.. There was a nice water fountain and pond in the center of green house which had beautiful koi inside that was very nice...***There wasnt to many staff around that we encountered... We werent greeted or acknowledge by any staff member that we did see... Even when we were ready to cash out there was no one at any of the cash registers...***If it wasnt for the vast variety of plants I dont think we would go back...

Star Nursery Garden Rock Center is a good place to go. There are many things there that besides gardens and rocks. Apparently Star nursery garden and Rock center is a place that takes care of plants but sells essential items to do such a thing. There you can purchase items that are required to maintain gardens or a lawn. Parts and accessories such as hoses or water sprinkler heads. Theres a customer service area for questions and distance to find those hard to find things. This place is recommended for a quick stop in case you dont want to go to a big hardware store to find one small essential garden item.

Went to this Star Nursery and selected some stuff for the new home. Getting out of the house is a big project for us with the baby. We gathered what we needed and headed to the cash register. We used a gift card from my mom for our anniversary. It had $100 credit and we had the full receipt. My wife was paying so i started loading our purchases in the truck. Next thing i know they tell me the gift card was not active even though we HAD THE FULL RECEIPT NOT THE GIFT RECEIPT BUT THE FULL RECEIPT AND the MANAGER ENRIQUE told us to bring the stuff off the truck because it wasnt ours. There was zero apology for their gift card service not working and then just told give us our stuff back. We demanded answers (now with a screaming baby) ENRIQUE said try calling the corporate office on Monday. We were treated like trash. I will never ever use your services again.

The variety was good. Usually has what I need. Service is okay. Still my go to place for plants and supplies for my yard.

Star Nursery is always clean I like that. The people that work there are friendly and helpful. And they always have a plant thats on sale so you can afford to buy. I got a few little ones today and that will help fix up my garden.

Wonderful plant selection.! However, no one at the nursery bothered to let us know that YOU CANNOT take plants purchased here - or any nursery plants purchased anywhere in Nevada - back into California: “insect pests in the soil.” So, unless you want your $$$$ to go down the drain, like we were forced to do, DO NOT PURCHASE PLANTS IN NEVADA AND ATTEMPT TO TAKE THEM BACK INTO CALIFORNIA, at least via I-15. 😠😢😢

We usually dont come to this location but we had a doctor appointment close by. We found few T hybrid roses 🌹 left but we found one to our liking. The price was reasonable.

Hello. I am at the Charleston location as I write this review. This place has the worst customer service and management. Last week I came in twice. The first time was to check out the inventory on pavers. I asked about what was in stocks and other questions about that. I called later on that day and they told me if I come in the next day, they would be able to deliver by Monday, July 12. The next day when I came in, I spent 30 minutes at the counter while the staff tried to figure out what to do. The manager was extremely rude, didn’t acknowledged me at all and didnt know the number to the warehouse, what was in stock at the store and went back and forth trying to pull it together. Finally, they was able to order the 3 pallets I asked for. Today, which is a Sunday, a number called my phone 3 times. I didnt recognize it. So I called the number back. It was Star Nursery calling because they had made an error for the delivery charge. If I didnt call back, I would have not known, because the employee did not leave a message. You call 3 times and dont leave a message? I had to come back in and pay more money for the delivery. Ok, so I come in, the young woman who made the call was nonchalant about not leaving a message. Why should she care? Its not her time or money. Anyway, the manager comes, doesn’t acknowledged me at all and explains the situation. Ok, fine. Everything is set for the delivery and then I leave. The young woman calls back, this time leaves a message. The other employee from last week had the wrong order in for the type of pavers. They had Terra cotta but I specifically ordered Sierra Blend. I turn around come back and tell them to refund my money. I told the manager about my less than pleasant experience and she seemed to acknowledge me this time and also was apologetic. That might have helped the first time but no thank you. This place has the most incompetent staff, poor customer service, and I will never, ever come here again. I wonder if I had looked different might I had a different experience.

Luke was by far one of the worst cashiers Ive ever dealt with. He was nasty, rude and very unhelpful. He refused to answer any of my questions and I had to get help from a fellow shopper. I like the deals here but doubt I will be back due to the way the staff treated me. There are several other nurseries in the area I will try instead. If you need something that requires questions or friendly staff go else where and save yourself a headache!!

Best Star Nursery in town. Plants are always healthy with no bugs. Worth the trip.

Thanks to Star Nursery I have an addiction!!! Succulents!!! The first time I went, I told them that I did not have any idea about plants, but I like them. So they helped me, guided me, tough me on all the basics I needed at that time. After my first visit, I have been visiting them every single week!! Now not only for succulents... other type of plants. I live in a small condo that now looks like a jungle...... lol ... Thanks to them!! I just cannot have enough. I went to buy several trees to shade the west side of my house. I waited very patiently for a sales clerk to become available. As I know nothing about the right kind of trees to buy. This sakes clerk was not able to help me, so she called over head for the right clerk to meet me at the information booth.So I walked over there and a lady was behind the booth talking with a gentleman. So I was waiting patiently again as I really wanted someone to help guide me on buying trees.Then the clerk kind of looked over her sunglass at me and said can I help you. I told her I was sent over here for guidance with trees for shade on the west side of my house. She rolled her eyes and told me trees were towrds the back on the right.I felt so disrespected like the scene in Pretty Women where she has money to buy clothes but the ladys just turned there back on her saying theres nothing she could afford.Well just for kicks and giggles I am in the process of redoing my whole landscaping.I will not be going to Star Nursery.SJ

Plenty to chose from and they have a nice Coy pond with snapping turtles. Great for the kids to break up the shopping.

The plants are gorgeous but the whole staff needs a attitude check I went in for a Pothos and the Manager and Cashier were just rude. This was my favourite star nursery but I will never be returning.

So much variety, always good quality. For whatever reason, I tend to find more of what Im looking for at this location than at the Cheyenne location, even though the stores look identical.

Inventory low prices high patrons waiting to cash out extending back to the garden section. One register open out of four. This store seems to have a problem hiring good help.

If you are planting they have virtually everything you may need. Friendly, very helpful staff and tons of plants to pick from as well. Many locations around the Vegas Valley makes for another convenience, especially when oops, we forgot an item or two.

The prices were good! However while my husband and I were checking out plants there was a Employee sweeping up and down in the area my Husbandand I were shopping in! Wouldnt wait for us to get our plants and definitely Never Said excuse-me me. Not sure if it was the gay thing....but this was a very large guy with an attitude! Although I live much closer to the Boulder Hwy location, I usually make the 20 mile drive to come to this store. The plants appear to be in better health and condition here. The selection is greater for just about everything; indoor and outdoor plants, irrigation supplies, pots and planters. The store is cleaner and more organized.

Lots of houseplants, fall plants, roses, climbing plants and trees. Helpful staff. Koi pond with turtles. Stone, mulch, and everything else you need to garden and for your landscaping. Irrigation and lighting supplies.Senior discount on Thursdays.

Always a good experience here. The bros outside greet you when you arrive, the people inside are really friendly and helpful, never make you feel bad for not being a professional gardener/ landscaper, and the cashiers are super quick but never pushy. I always feel regretful when I buy stuff from Lowes that I could have bought here cheaper and faster.

Great nursery! Lots of selection! They have lots of plants, sprinkler system parts, pots etc. Everything you might need for your garden.

I got from there 7 large plant potteries and the paint came off after the first 2-3 months. Now one of the pots is coming apart, cracked from top the bottom. Have to say I am not pleased with the pots. Turned out to be made with cheap materials.

Those clerks know it all. You dont have to find a manager to explain things

I live right by here but for some reason I end up at Home Depot. Went there today because HD didnt have what I was looking for. The absolute nicest customer service ever! And they are staffed well so the people on the floor can actually answer your questions! I would give this place 10 stars if I could! Highly recommend!

I didnt like someone shouting at me to put on a mask when I had it in my hands starting to put it on. It was very rude, and I will go to another nursery if thats how they teach there employees how to treat people.

Not particularly happy!You allowed customers in and to walk around without masksOn too of that you have no 6 markings for people to maintain social distancing in the check out line.You need to address this.

Star Nursery Inc shop is a hidden gem. They worked with my small budget for my wedding, and created beautiful centerpieces and a stunning bouquet. Whenever I go in to get flowers for gifts or for my home, the staff always helps create a unique arrangement. Why spend $10 at a deli when you can stop in here and gets something so much better for the same price!

I love Star Nursery. We got our Christmas tree there. Picked it out, paid, had it trimmed and placed in stand, and secured to my car in 25 min. Normally, I live browsing and meandering, but tonight we didnt have time. The staff was very helpful and cheerful.

I enjoy all Star Nurserys for my front and backyard needs. I especially enjoy the pond set ups. I am always very disappointed in tbis particular location as there are many huge koi and turtles with zero space to swim. It would make sense to put some of the huge koi to the Blue Diamond location (which has only one koi with small goldfish) or the Charleston location which only has small goldfish. Other than that, I stll enjoy all locations and appreciate the good variety of fruit trees, succulents, and plants.

I love this nursery and the helpful personnel, especially Christian. I was having difficulty selecting some Japanese Blueberry trees, and he was extremely helpful even after closing hours. Companies who put customers first are always appreciated!

Plants are less expensive than Moon, and staff is helpful. But never buy rock there. Ordered 10 tons of 3/4 rock - got 6 tons of rock, 2 tons of pea gravel, and 2 tons of sand.

Love this place! I really enjoy checking out there plants on my days off from work. Bring a picture and they ll give you suggestions at the information booth.

I am a landscape designer and also plant procurement for a prominent company here in the Valley.I count on Star Nursery for a lot of our plant material and the folks at the Charleston Store are especially service minded and friendly. I also heavily rely on the Ann Road Store.However, you cant beat any of the Star Nurseries for service and product!

Worst and most rude costumer service I have ever seen. I went to return a few things and they gave me a store credit receipt. I got to my car and realized I wanted a gift card so I went back in. Not only did they tell me this was prohibited but the one lady started insisting that my grandfather sitting out in the car could give me the money for it because he shops there all the time! What? He has never been there before and I kept telling her that he doesn’t shop here and she would tell me “I know he does.” I walked out very annoyed only to have three women who were working at the front counter (including the manager) stare at me through the window and I got into my car. I will never shop there again and I was very miss treated.
