Food Lion Sandy Spring Rd Laurel Branch used to be a good food store around in neighborhood but sadly its employees are taking the name and standard down everyday .I see old and rotten vegetables in shelves so often and out of date bread in bakery section. I once called the customer service at this store complaining about bad fruits I was sold but store manager rathertreated me with a mockingly and threatening tone. Food lion management should lookinto what is going on in this laurel branch. Customer service is non exist and products in shelves are out of date

Great store in Laurel, MD. Very clean, helpful staff and wonderful produce and meat selections. Im only in the area about once a week but I now make it a point to shop. Better prices than my local grocery store.

Very Clean enviroment, can always find what I am looking for .They have good sales and promotion.Some of the cashiers a re pleasent and some arent, They judge customers as they walk into the store and show hatred ness toward them through their body language.Other Than that, Its a great place to shop.

It seems to always be clean, the cashiers are always pleasant, the workers are always helpful. Some items are some times seems to be out of stock like gain laundry beads. I find a lot of laundry products stock is usually low as well as toiletries. Thank you for the opportunity.

Found some good bargain there the store practice social distance and it was clean they had the handicap wheelchair which was much needed and they are right by the door.

It was a nice store. It was clean . I didnt get a chance to check out the restroom, but if its as clean as the rest of the store you will be fine 😊. Also, Im handicapped, and had to use a ride on cart to complete my shopping trip, it was clean and charged, and the isles were roomy enough for me to complete a full spin without smashing into anything. I visited the deli, and the young man behind the counter was very sweet to me and my sister, our cashier was very competent, and also very nice. We were most impressed by the prices ! Keep up the good work food lion! Their sales were excellent and we found many sales on the things we needed, and things we just use in general. I even saw a couple store managers from the different departments, on the floors, working side by side with their employees ! I had a great shopping trip at this store, and if you happen to shop here Im sure u will be satisfied as well. The front end manager was visible and taking part in front end duties, making sure carts werent blocking the entrances, it was an amazing experience at this food lion today!!😊

Food Lion is pleasant, easy to get to neighborhood grocery store. It carries most things I need. The staff are great. I have generally had a great experience getting in and out of the grocery store and the parking lot. And most important their prices are amazing! Great for all income levels and family sizes! 😀

We had visited six other establishments who all claimed that ‘it was down’ or that ‘the system’ was broken as if we were stupid. As I was loading my groceries into my car, a cart pusher came over and commented on my Lebron jersey, referring to Lebron as Lefraud and saying that he had Mickey Mouse rings. Im not sure what he meant by any of this, but I fear he is not fully functioning in the head. Very unfortunate.

Even the store has changed its a little bit harder for me to find what I need but I guess its for the best the store looked clean very well-stocked cashiers in employees were very very helpful five stars all day

Ok for a quick stop. Shelves never seem to be fully stocked. Employees leaning on counters having super loud conversations while customers wait to pay.

I feel like Food Lion is the only place in virginia to have a clean public bathroom in a grocery store. I wanna shout out whoevers on duty for cleaning that beast Thursday into Friday.Forget the food yall are the real champions!

I called the store asking a question and a staff member answered the phone with a very rhetorical answer and I found that EXTREMELY rude. I called back and spoke to another staff member and got a very civilized answer so at least I know a good person does work there. The two stars if for whoever answered the phone call the second time.Ive been a loyal customer for almost 10 years so its a shame that this event turned me off so much. Moving my business right on over to Giant.

Staff in the meat department are friendly everytime I visit. Store is getting renovated and its long overdue as it is dull. For the most part, its always clean.

Bought a red velvet cake and when the cashier was checking me out, she used the pen to check the two $5 bills I handed her as if I was trying to use fake notes. It’s understandable if they check $50 or $100 bills but that was just offensive. Plus, when I got home and cut the cake there was a long hair that came out of it. They should work on their food hygiene and customer service.

Awesome place for groceries. Customer service is awesome. Wide selection of produce, and they have an organic section as well. Deli service is wonderful, and they always have fresh baked goods. Meat selection can have some choices that are about to expire sometimes. Overall, good place to save some money and get good food.

This is an extremely clean store and always well stocked. The rest rooms are clean. Produce seems like it was just picked from the garden. The meat department is stocked and the meat is good. The management staff and associates make my shopping experience enjoyable. The cashiers are efficient and always willing to open another register when the line gets too crowded. This is why I shop at this Food Lion.

Great gas deals but your points should never expire. Very frustrating I paid to get the points then put a time limit on them. How much money does your company steal from your customers every year by using this practice?

Its a decent in-between store for us if we absolutely need something because of distance but never a first choice. Always check your expiration dates! They are not the best at getting them off the shelf for a month or 6 past the sell by date.

Store is clean, prices like everywhere have increased but sale items are great prices most of time. Employees are helpful and friendly. Not a huge store so not as busy as some big stores, lines are fairly short and quick. I shop here often as close to home.

Its much smaller than the Giant down the street, and lacks self checkout. But the produce that they do have is good and its very convenient.

Customer assistance excellent. They are the only store that sells clear 39 gal trash bags. They also gave what might be called boutique items like Irish Real Butter.

Conveniently located within the neighborhood. Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon is always a hit! Ordered lunch meat from the deli too.

I would have given 5 but, the lady at the deli yesterday cut my cheese sloppy and put in the bag sloopy. Certain cheese needs sheets between then so they dont stick like the Harvati cheese other than that its an ok store to shop they always have good sales .

Not welcome unless they see you on a regular. Meat section is not well stocked.

Personally, I like this supermarket.. Mostly because I can shop fast because it isnt usually full. (for me thats a good thing) and the lines dont take as long as other places
