In store assistance need to be improved greatly, I visited and kept looking for someone to help me find what I was looking for. Staff need to be trained in dealing with customers in more friendly and helpful way, rudeness is not a good virtue for business. I asked for something and reply was if its not there than we dont have it.Smile definitely wont hurt.

Great store outfitted with every wonderful tool imaginable to equip your job. There was an annoying sales person who lacked good customer service skills, so 5-stats could not be rendered. Tip for management: every now and then, use some of the HF Tools to tune-up your employees attitudes, assuring yours is on par too, because staff reflect management. It is superb customer service that makes satisfied customers who become loyal patrons to your store.

Based on the information online I drove to this location to purchase a 24 x 36 moving cart that was reported being available. When I arrived, all that I could find was the floor model.When I asked one of the employees about the cart, he simplied replied there were none and kept going. When I caught back up with him and asked if the floor model was available, he replied no in the most stop asking me questions manner.It is one thing to drive all the way out to the location expecting to make a purchase and learn that there is nothing to purchase. It is another and unacceptable thing to experience bad customer service.This is an example of why going to brick and mortar locations is becoming less of an option for me.

Nice 1000 pound table lift some lady helped me load the thing in the back of my midsize surprised it fit. If only all women helped instead of eating bonbons and watching the bravo channel I would let one into the house. Thanks harbor freight for the good power tools and assisting women lift things. Something I never was able to do.

Great service and care for customer needs. I wasnt there for long; literally walked in 10 minutes before closing and rushed to find what my fiance wanted to find. In the meantime I got to see how they treated and attended to other guests. Our checkout was quick and painless.

Good for general mechanical needs. Wrenchs, jacks, etc. Prices are generally pretty good and quality can be good also. You really have to go here and decide.

Everyone knows they can buy decent tools at a good price here; great for DIYers. My last visit was disappointing. I rushed in to take advantage of a 20% off Fathers Day coupon to buy a work light I needed. They did not have it nor an empty place on the shelf for it. Instead they had a little cheaper model that I dont think is as bright as the one I saw online.This is not the first time I fell victim to their bait and switch tactics. I will still shop at Harbor Freight, but I will take their advertised online products with a healthy dose of skepticism that they actually carry that brand and model.

I had buy from Harbor Freight Tools from 2018, the tools are good. They don’t sell popular mark, however the quality is almost the same and the guarantee is very good.

Social distancing and masks required. Staff are easy to find for questions but rarely ask you if you need help. It does not have the selection of other HFT around the DMV but you can have items shipped there for free. Overall, your needs will be met here at great prices for comparable tools.

This store had what I needed but the floorplan and layout of the store was like and old style hardware store. Cmon man. Well I guess you gotta cater to the clientele.

The good: many tools you can not find anywhere else and everything is at a very low price. The bad: quality is not always great and check out is nearly always a twenty minute process of standing in line.

The 1 star is being generous ...I have never had such poor and AGGRESSIVE customer service and all in the same 15 min shopping trip !! First, I literally felt as if I was being made to chase down an associate for some simple assistance. I felt that the moment I made eye contact with an associate & attempted to ask a simple question as to the location of an item, but before I could actually make a sound, the associates would turn and swiftly walk away. Finally after I gave up locating the additional items on my list I went to the register to purchase the only item that I was able to find myself only to be met with the feeling that I was inconveniencing the cashier. As he rang up my order I pulled out my phone to give him my coupon code, to which he rolled his eyes & sighed loudly as if he had better things to do with his time than to wait on customers, he even went so far as to say some thing under his breath. I responded with an apology for inconveniencing him .. which then caused him to become belligerent to me, which obviously did not go over well with my partner !Some people should not have certain jobs, and perhaps Harbor Freight should make a point to have their managers watch their employees on video to see exactly how they are behaving when they themselves are not available !!Im so disgusted by this exhibit of behavior, I WILL NEVER shop that store again .. my family is full of contractors, Im sure none of them will shop there either !!

The store is always well stocked. The staff helped me find items. The problem happens in the checkout line. With 2 cashiers, I still dont see how it took over 20 mins.!??

I appreciate the convenience of the location but I sometime run into the situation that this store isnt as well stocked as the Catonsville location. On a few occasions Ive checked for stock at this store but had to drive to Catonsville to get what I needed. The security at this location is rude and became combative when I opened a box to look at the tool inside. I still like shopping here because the value for money is good.

Very good for mechanical tools, not so for others electric or battery operated ones.If youre looking for hammers, mallet, wrenches, jack stands you will find good prices and tools, but if look for battery operated drills, etc, good prices maybe, but quality and durability is not as the major brands, according to my experience.

One cashier for a line that goes to the back of the store. No AC, so you’re sweating while waiting in line. Terrible management

This was my first time at Harbor Freight in Laurel. Wow, great selection and the prices are excellent. I was able to use the online coupon and the first credit card purchase discount with ease. The Cashier was polite, quick and efficient. The Manager was very helpful and he even loaded my purchase into my car! I will be back.

I love this store. I usually go here for the specialty tool options that I need for the occasional home project, as well as some extra basic tools that I keep in the car or in some of the rooms just for convenience. But I do also have some of their mainstay tools like a portable compressor and nailers, and miter saw and have been happy with those purchases.This store has a pretty good selection if you come early and the staff are helpful. You can save yourself a bundle compared to the big box stores if you shop wisely.

They have their place. Usually fairly good prices for what you get. More and more it seems EVERYTHING is excluded from their sales which pisses me off. Also, it took almost 3 months for them to replace a missing part from a purchase. 4 stars seems too generous, but that particular store seems to be run well so Id hate to give the 2 or 3 I want to overall

Deceiving promotion coupon! For New year sale event, i received a 25% off any single item. However when i used it to buy my favorite item, i was told it was not valid on the item i purchased because of the long list of excluding merchandises (almost all of items in the store). The discount coupon is good on only a few dollars items. Thank you but next time do not even bother sending me those coupons again.

The worst customer service. I am a business owner and at times I would call ahead to see if they have the tools i need in stock. No one can never answer your questions at this location and when they do answer your questions, its incorrect. And dont ask to speak to the manager because management is no help! I had to contact this location 3 times only to get hung up on and be left on hold for long waiting times. The staff are unprofessional and rude! I will be contacting the corporate office!

Great place to get inexpensive tools and such. Not highest quality but great for when you need something you use infrequently. Always busy, almost always a line at the register. They do offer extended warranties for a fee.

Went in for a return and had no issues, staff knew where everything was and processed things quick.

Pretty good location, customer service here is very fast and efficient. Large selection of tools. Whenever I need something I usually either go right when they open or go near closing times because those are the only two times I believe the store isnt busy. HF, is always busy and packed full of people for a good reason, wouldnt go anywhere else for tools period, unless I need a specialized tool.

This is a good location and great customer service that all retail stores should emulate! As in any business and their products... its a love hate relationship with its products! There are some products that professionals should and do use, especially their tool chest line, while other items for limited DIY users are use and throw away! Would go too often if they were closer! Purchased a 13 ton shop press for an urgent vehicle repair. It was missing a critical piece (the work bar).Called the store manager refused to give me parts from a display model due to them selling out.Called another location manager refused to put the last remaining on on hold.All in all this is company policy, my question is does your company policy allow you to take care of your customers at all?

The Manager & the Security Man named Gary, are awesome people. Both went out of their way to help me out when I was stranded with a dead car battery. I offered to pay them $20 for their help, but both refused multiple times.
