Having prepared all day to escort a friend to get Distribution-Center clothing, I went near 8. The 2 clothing ladies & tall book guy were very helpful.

If youre part of this stores target demographic, youll be pretty happy with this location. I always love the locations with big comfortable leather chairs for me to sit in while my wife shops. This is a great, peaceful place where you can find spiritual upliftment

If you are looking for LDS books or art there is a good chance they have it here. The salespeople are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. This is my go to store for LDS teaching and study supplies.

I’ve always loved going to this Deseret Book location. When I went in today with my Mother to the Distribution Center, we were surprised and disappointed by the cashier Keely who gave us an attitude that did not reflect the nature of the establishment that you would expect in a place like this. When we were asking questions about our purchase, she ignored us and refused to make eye contact at all. We thought that she may have been having a bad day, but she seemed perfectly fine talking and laughing with the other employees.

Well, let me tell ya...they were busy! Even so, an employee met me as I was entering through the double doors and asked how they could me. Both my items had already been paid for online so it was just a matter of sorting through the will-call packages to find mine. And, thanks to Cyber Monday, I got a great deal on a much sought after book and saved almost $9. Then, of course, I did the obligatory stay on site and browse routine. The artwork! The Home Decor ideas! The unusual, the unique, the inspiring AND the frozen dough. Their rolls are to die for...Lion House Rolls...oh, my! There is even a few places to just sit, browse a book, think deep thoughts or check your grocery list.To summarize .. ..* It was busy.* I was met immediately by someone who could help.* I had a couple of questions and the staff was well versed in their products .* Ive had the same positive experience at the Clinton Deseret Book. So, hey, whats not to love💜.

Exceptional customer service. I was looking for new scriptures for my son. The gentleman (cant remember his name) helped me with exploring the different options and gave his experience with each. They embossed my sons name and were very quick to notify me when it was complete. Very happy with the service.

I really like that you can buy garments at this location. Makes things so much easier to not have to go down to the distribution center. This location has a lot of great items and I always enjoy shopping here. You should even try the food they sell! The BYU creamery Ranch is a staple in our household!!

Well lit and able to move through without feeling crowded. Clean and proper social distancing observed by the employees. They checked on me several times and offered to help find what Im looking for so as to reduce my potential exposure time in the facility. A wide variety of products still available on the shelves.

The employees were very helpful and looked up a few things for me. I couldnt find a certain book I was looking for and after checking to see if they carried it in stock the man went and grabbed it off the shelf for me. There was one item that I needed that they didnt have in stock, but they told me two other locations that did have it and offered to call and have it held for me. I love the feeling when I walk into this store. The layout and artwork just make you feel welcome.

Had the best experience with an employee. When I first walked in with my 2 year old I thought she was coming over to keep an eye on us but instead she talked kindly and engaged in meaningful conversation with both of us. Great selection of religious items. You can get church distribution items here including temple clothing, scriptures, and church publications. Other items like temple bags, scripture cases and books by religious scholars, prophets and apostles plus beautiful religious artwork. I wish their non religious items like home decor was priced even remotely reasonable. But for the main purpose of this store (religious products) its a great place.

Got in and out very quickly and very nice staff.

Love the people here. Theyre all so great, helpful, and polite. I appreciate them every time I go in. They bend over backwards for you and dont make you feel like an inconvenience. Beckie, Melissa, Andrea, and Drew, particularly have all been great saleswomen! Any road block Ive come across, theyve been right there, finding a solution and efficient. Convenient location and helpful staff. I called before coming in and asked if they had the items I was looking for and the gentleman on the phone was friendly and helped me with my questions. Thats the friendliest Deseret Book Ive ever been to. The grandma who checked us out gave me and my toddler candy and then found us to give back a toy we dropped.

Had a great visit. Once I walked in I asked a kind young woman were to find something. She took me right the scripture cases, I picked out the basketball case, then went to check out. The gentleman was prompt and got me my total.

Layton Deseret Book provides excellent customer service, while helping those who enter their store have a memorable and uplifting experience. The products available are edifying and help improve the lifestyle of their customers. This store has a sweet, cozy atmosphere. The staff are generally friendly and one woman helped me search for a painting they didnt have in stock to see where I could get it. Its hard to bring my little boy in here though. There are breakables where he can reach.

Sometimes the computers to pay here are slow but over all very nice people and great costumer service!

Usually well stocked with new stuff and classics. Also great art if you can afford it. There are some nice arm chairs here near a bookshelf with books on the Bible. They have many languages of Books but not some of the more obscure ones that I have come in for from time to time.

Nice, clean store. My kids love reading the books in the kids section. It gives me a chance to shop while they read. Then we look at the clearance section and they get a book to take home for being good. Win, win!

Id give this location 5 stars if theyd get their Credit Card machines up to date and or fixed. It seams every time i go i cant use the chip or Apple Pay option because they arent working (therefore i lose out on a certain percentage i get back from my credit cards).

Great store and friendly staff. Now there is a Quad in Spanish! Finding a bag to fit it was a little tricky, but I found one.

Open till 9pm on Saturday which came in clutch because I totally forgot to wear a certain article of clothing and I ran there and was in and out in under a minute. #blessed
