Must have a clean trailer, nice facility. Its pretty huge with a variety of buildings and different sites. My third time coming here and its a little wait to get loaded but Ive never been on time for my appointment either lol. They give you a treat after getting loaded, scaled and your reefer temp is reached at least -10 degrees

Good place to load and unload. They give you ice cream at the guard shack when you arrive and when you leave. If u have a doggie they give u doggie bones. Awesome place everyone is friendly and nice.

For me this place is a drop/hook so usually in and out pretty quickly. They do have overnight parking and they have a scale and washout available. Which is nice since the only truck stop in LeMars is currently closed. Make sure your refer is topped off before arrival. Closest place is a Caseys 15 miles away in Hinton, IA.

Only good for knocking the dust off. If you want your vehicle 100% spotless a car wash that has the fully automated tunnel with the spinning brushes and mops. Or wash it yourself. At least it was cheap.

It is a great place to pick up from, you get free ice cream and the loading itself wasn’t that long.

Have a restroom to use. Must drop trailer and the yard driver takes to the dock. Appt time was 1915. Received paperwork at 2300. Kwik Star 1.5mls away to park if need be.

Its taking to long to get loaded, this is my second and last time, and 2nd time I will be late for delivery, looks like too smart people working in the office, no bathroom, it took 6 hours to get loaded.

My appointment was at noon, arrived at 11:30am, 5 hours later I was loaded. I was supposed to deliver in St. Louis next day at 4am, had to reschedule the delivery because of not enough available hours and of course they only unload at night so I lost a whole day!

They were nice people. But i was there little over 4 hours. When i called about my load and to see if i was able to spend the night, they said my trailer was ready. Idk how long it was ready for but im pretty sure they werent going to tell me.Check on your loads, the yard drivers are busy and wont come to tell u..They dont tell you, but there is a scale on your way out. In front of the guard shack. ..

Ok place, but they will not call or contact you in anyway to let you know your load is ready, you have to watch for your trailer, make sure you get the number to call them unless you like to walk..

If you read the signs, pretty much tells ya everything ya need to know..1st time in and out.. only thing to make it awesome would be to notify driver when trailer is empty or loaded.. but nice people on check in and out

Nice people. Loading trailer does take some time. I averaged about 5 hours a re load here. Load is wrapped good. Easy to transport. Not likely to shift on you.

This place is good, theres a overnight parking and you can bobtail out,if you want to go get something to eat.First,make sure you slide your tandem back and also trailer is cleaned and been pre cool to -20,then you drop your trailer on the assigned lot and then go bobtail, checked in at 18:47 and trailer was ready at 22:00.

The people always try to help you out trying to get the load trying to get the paperwork and get you out the gate

App was 10:00 load not ready until 6:00am, so Im late to delivery to cosco, just canceled the load, so sad, thank you so much for spending my time for free

First time here, so naturally I pulled my rig into the wrong truck entrance. No probs. Drove further up, and clear as day, there was the correct entry at the farthest end of the factory location. Easy drop and hook. Helpful ladies at the guard shack... Plus a Blue Bunny ice cream in the way out. Nice touch. Thank you!

Great has truck parking

After waiting 10h thay finally said I better go to sleep because thay have no idea when my trailer will be loaded. Thay dont inform you when your trailer ready to pick up so you need to call them constantly.

I had a 2 p.m. pickup I arrived at 1:29 p.m. but when I got to the guard shack they log me in at 1:33 p.m. after 4 hours waiting for a dock door I talked to the guard shack they gave me a number to the office and when I called the office they told me I was a work in because I was late. I went back to talk to the guard shack and was informed that you are required to be there 30 minutes before your appointment or youre late and youll be a work in. Nowhere on the broker sheet were there any instructions of being there 30 minutes early. I have never been to a place where you were have to be there a half an hour before your appointment or youre considered late. And if I would not have had to wait for the truck in front of me I would have been there on time. they did give me a door about 5 hours after my 2 p.m. appointment and I was done in about 2 hours from that point

Not good, not bad. Friendly people, just plan to spend all day here picking up a load, they dont care about appointment times at all here, make you wait till 3 hours after appointment time to pay detention, then its like pulling teeth to get anything out of them.

12:45Pm appointment:Dropped trailer in my assigned door 6:36amGot loaded and out at 9:46am. .. My first time EVER to leave from here this quick. Usually spend 10+ hours here waiting.

Live unload procedure. Do not go in past the guard shack- only for box trailers. Park on the scale(south side) and pick up the phone. Tell him your trailer number. Go around the intake bay building, (which is right in front of you) park in the lot in front of the dairy and CO2 silos. Take your paperwork in(go to corner door, pick up phone, someone will come) to the lab office on opposite side wall and up the stairs. Leave it, go wait in your truck, they will come and get you. Pull into bay, they hookup, and unload. Then you move forward 1 spot to wash. They will bring you your paperwork back, you pull straight out, scale, pick up the phone and confirm your trailer number. Go to the bathroom before you show up. They want you to stay in your truck.

6 pm check in....11pm still waiting for dor

On site scale, friendly theyll give you ice cream on the way out.

It shouldnt take 5 hours to load a trailer with ice cream. but I get to call home and tell my kids daddy didnt make much money today because he had to sit for 5 hours getting a trailer loaded. But dont worry about it because I got an ice cream sandwich when I left we can split six ways. And for the OTR drivers live loading here make sure you get the number to call the guard shack when you enter so you dont have to keep driving around a lot looking for your loaded trailer because they do not notify you when its loaded its up to you to go find it or you can get the number and call the guard shack every 30 minutes

Make sure you ha e a clean trailer. Showed up 1.5 hrs early and still waiting 3.5 hrs later for a door. Very poor at keeping appointment times. People are nice but not in a hurry to get you loaded and rolling. Not sure how they have a 4 star rating. I am not mad just disappointed in this company.

Lack of important driver information on check in, takes way to long to get loaded, . Check out was fast and smooth. Need to post requirements on guard shack because they dont tell you anything about when the load is ready to go. Alot of wasted time

I had a great experience at the Wells ice cream plant. The receivers were always busy and they were up most professional considerate and calm. Wayne especially took the time to explain company policy which will help me work with their system

Good place to get loaded. When you pull onto the drive, just before the guard shack, slide your tandems back. There is plenty of room for all your backing, so this isnt the pain it normally is. You will get checked in at that point and directed where to go, most likely the fence line. If thats the case, a hostler will come and tell you your door.Keep doors closed. Dock. Unhook. When green I hooked up and waited for instruction, which is good, because just even though youir green doesnt mean your doors are closed. When they come and tell you that your good to go, you will head to back to the shack. There is a scale you cross first. Pull all the way on. It will scroll all your axle weights out to you on that single screen followed by the total. Friendly people. Excellent loading experience. About 2hrs.

They have you drop and pull away, to go park in bobtail area...STAY IN FRONT OF YOUR TRAILERYard dogs will not come and tell you when your trailer is ready even if they tell you they will. I spent 7 hours there before I figured this out, who knows how long my trailer was ready for!! Just waisted my whole clock, and of course just like most shippers we are just robots to them, we have no life, no homes to get too, no family waiting for us. But who cares, right, As long as they get to go home everyday.

I deliver cream to make ice cream here. Free ice cream while unloading. Love it.

Very little direction from the guard shack. Had to ask the inspection lady how everything worked. Just have to sit and keep an eye out for your trailer to be parked in row two or three or call the dock Office to find out if your trailer has been loaded. Would be so simple to take down your phone number and call you when it is ready like every other place does.I showed up the evening before my appointment so I might give it more stars if things go well.

For driver it was quick and easy to get in pick up my load and be on about my business he has drivers like places like that cuz if I wheels are not rolling when Im making any money enjoy going there and plus I enjoy the ice cream

Avoid live loads unless you like wasting your time. 5 hours so far and told they have no idea when load will be ready. How places like this remain in business operating like this, I have no idea. Guess they dont care if the receiver doesnt get product on time or the time they cost a driver. Last load I haul for them.

People are decent. If you’re delivering milk or cream, get comfortable, it’s going to take a while. Oh, if you have to use the bathroom, they have one somewhere on the other side of the facility. Drivers are treated like lower class citizens here. Your needs are not their concern.

Le Mars is a Nice little town. Great Drop & Hook Facility with a scale., washout & Parking nearby, plenty of places to eat. You will get ticketed for stopping along roadside, city ordinance,.

I have picked up here several times but now the last two pickups were live loads and I had to wait 7 hrs last time and this time I am 4.5 hrs past my appointment time. I will try and update my actual departure time. I’m not happy! Who would be? They need to get their business figured out starting with their general manager working down to the forklift drivers. If I owned this business I personally would start by firing the general manager! // Update 3 years later and it’s the same story. Been here 8 hours and I am currently 7hrs 45 minutes past my appointment time. Learning my lesson the hard way. I will try and avoid this place in the future. Someone else can haul their ice cream.

Great ice cream, the employees and some management members are very deceptive and most of the co-workers are bullies. So if you dont mind keeping to yourself and learning everything alone while risking your job. Then great for you. You have been hired but not for long! Good luck...

I am a truck driver so i am on the side of loading and unloading. This is not a hard place to deal with at all. No hassle no long waits no worries.

We drop trailers and pick up our preloaded trailers. Scale is right there at the guard shack. In and out, cant really complain. The ladies are friendly, helpful and easy to work with.

Took forever to get loaded and made me late for my delivery, good thing Walmart was gracious......they normally wont take you after an hour.

No instructions whatsoever from anyone at the checking or yard driver that tells you which door to go to. After 8 hours after an appointment I came here to find out how does it work. Call the office to see if its loaded they will not contact you. My trailer has been loaded for some time but I had no idea. Ive been driving for 10 years but I dont think Ive had this strange loading experience.

We load out of here all the time. We have dropped trailers there. We do pick up there we can get out there quick. They do have a scale on site . They have gone to chep pallets so loads are heavier.

I truly enjoy my job traveling the states as a truck driver, and I have to say driving out to Wisconsin, and Iowa, are two pleasant states I enjoy looking at.

Not only it takes a long time to load (6 hours in my case), but they also do not inform you when they are done loading. You have to periodically check the lot for your trailer. What genius came up with that brilliant idea?

Im a commercial driver and I receive products from this facility, the check-in /check-out and trailer securement process is smooth however their are times when finding a location for your drop is challenging. On a hot day the thought of being offered cool refreshment always adds to the benefits. Good job BBSPY.

7 hrs. to unload! I brought in product that was being returned from Americold-St. Paul, so perhaps that is why. But, that is no excuse to punish the driver. I missed my reload. Oh and I didnt receive any free ice cream. A truly miserable experience to say the least.

Nice people....loaded me in 2hrs. Arrived at 10am appointment wasnt until 1700. Paperwork ready at noon. Gave me and wife ice cream sandwiches upon exiting.....

Nice well kept plant. One major failure, no bathroom for truck drivers. Please a port a pot would be great
