Friendly and helpful staff at this location in Leander. Was able to book a unit online and Sergio the manager contacted me to explain details on locating the unit and was available for any questions I might have. They even had the lock ready for me to use when I got there, which I thought was very considerate. Clean and well maintained location. Definitely recommended to anyone looking for storage arrangements. They are worth the 5 stars !

I have had a storage unit at Extra Space Storage on Hero’s Way in Leander for close to two years now. Last week I called to request a larger one and Sergio bent over backwards to accommodate me in getting a larger unit. He even checked on me the day I changed units to see if everything was ok. High marks for Sergio! He’s the best!

Most of the storage facilities are clean with competitive rates but the one thing that makes a difference is the service you get. My stuff was moved to this city while I was still in Boston. I called Extra Space Storage and Sergio helped me find a unit that a 18 - wheeler could reach to, guided the movers to move my stuff safely in the unit, prepared all docs, locked the unit - all this without me physically being there. I liked his attitude of stepping up and helping the customers. He took the time to listen to my concerns, needs and inventory and GUARANTEED that he would attend to all details and what worked with my budget worries, and that he wanted me to be happy with the result.He not only remembered our phone conversations in detail but greeted me by name when I walked into the office. He stressed that good service and my happiness was a priority for him and he was true to his word. He had a card ready with my unit numbers and the corresponding codes among with locks already in the units (which by the way were spotless) upon my arrival.I was having trouble with a code and he immediately came over and solved the matter and explained why the problem occurred. I didnt have to worry about anything there. Just let him know and he would find a satisfactory solution.I ended up not needing a third unit and he didnt harass me with rules of too short notice. He canceled the rental agreement and said there would be no future payments needed.Ive rented more storage units than I care to recall but I have never, ever experienced such personal, sincere and transparent service.Ill most likely need to maintain a small unit after I move out of the larger ones I have but I will look nowhere else as long as Sergio is there. He is key to making your experience smooth, hassle free, personally handled and correct with no hidden fees or contracts with sneaky fine print.Sergio is what makes this storage facility outstanding and a great experience.Look no further if you need a storage unit, but do it quickly. I had to make a quick unit change as I had movers on the way and realized mine was too small. I went to the front and Sergio transferred me to a bigger unit within minutes! This is not the first time we have rented from Extra Space Storage, hence our return, but -- Just as every property is individually-managed, every experience is equally unique. Sergio, though, kept the bar raised very, very high! And, the rental experience has been great, thus far: Easy contract setup ... Easy move-in ... etc. Plus, the unit was clean and ready-to-go. The thing that impressed me the most about the Extra Space location on Hero Way was how clean the place always was. Inside my locked unit, there were no signs of mice or bugs. My things didnt even gather dust after 2 years!

This place is pretty great. I’ve been looking to get a storage unit close to my house while we are going through the transition of moving adult kids in, and then back out, of our home. I did some online location and price comparison shopping before making the decision to go with Extra Space. I used their online service, Rapid Rental, to make my reservation, take care of all rental insurance and contracts, as well as make my first payment. This was such an easy process. You literally make the reservation online and they get the unit ready and email your access codes. I had to reach out to the manager, Sergio, for an issue (I thought access to my unit had not been setup, but it had and it turned out I was at the wrong unit..lol) and he took care of my issue immediately. He also told me about different prepayment options that I had not seen on the website and broke down everything regarding their facility that I hadn’t been aware of. Extra Space Leander is clean, secure, competitively priced, centrally located and well managed. I don’t think you’ll find a better place in Leander to store your belongings.

So far so good, there was a problem with the computer system and Sergio stayed on the phone with me for like 30 minutes and walked me through the problem with the website. This is after I went in and asked him to save me a unit if one opened up. As soon as the unit opened up he gave me a call and I was able to get it even though there was a small problem. This place hires solid employees makes me feel safe about my items being stored there. They would notice suspicious activity at least that’s my gut feeling. Thank you to the staff.
