I grew up on a farm in Iowa where we raised beef cattle and I have lived in Kansas City for over 40 years so I have had a few steaks in my day. I get Omaha steaks as a gift from my mother each year, but I have to say that the steaks are very low quality... no marbling, with stringy tendons. If Omaha “Steaks” wants to have a good reputation they should focus more on quality and not on profits.

Giving three stars because the food is good. But I’m trying to understand why it takes 2 weeks for a shipment. I made and order 5 days ago and they still haven’t processed it yet. I will be doing my business somewhere else from now on if it is going to take this long for orders.

These are some of the worst steaks Ive ever had. The prices they charge for probably not even USDA grade. Not even close to prime but they charge you for waygu prices. Dont waste your time with this company.

I just had a great experience at Omaha Steaks. I went in to purchase 5 of their Gourmet Family Feast packages. They were busy, but soon had someone gathering all the individual items and bagging them up for me. I was in and out very quickly and the staff was very friendly.

Theyre very expensive but I go when they have huge sales with large discounts, then theyre more reasonable. Even when on sale i almost never get their steaks or other expensive meats because even on sale theyre overpriced and small. Just get their sides and meals like burgers and lasagna. I like the quality of the food, the serving sizes can be pretty small though too. Ive been in the store many times and never had any issues with their customer service.

This company has the absolute worst customer service I have EVER experienced! My son received a gift card for Christmas and when he tried to use it they didnt apply it after speaking with him for 20 minutes. We received a bill, when I called and tried to resolve it, I was transferred 4 times and put on hold for over 30 minutes. They NEVER could resolve the issue.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered promotional gift packs advertised on a local radio show via the website for family xmas gifts. Omaha Steaks sent me the wrong gift packs of lesser value. When I called to explain the situation, their customer service representative Jeremy and manager Johnny T were both extremely rude and not helpful. This company has a 100% satisfaction guarantee on their products stating if not 100% satisfied they will cheerfully replace or refund your purchase. Not only was there no cheer involved they were unkind and extremely rude. They did eventually refund my money on the incorrect gift packs after I talked to 5 people, however the manager Johnny T. hung up on me after saying, What, do you want your money back?This was my first time trying Omaha Steaks. I will never purchase from this company again nor will I have anything nice to say to anyone else who might want to try this product. Quality meat can be purchased through many avenues, I am surprised that a company with such competition in the marketplace would trust their business to employees who have no idea how to help a customer with an issue.

While the product is good, the customer service is not up to par. Never ordering again. They lost a lifetime customer over a $50 mistake. Try Kansas City Steak Company instead!

I received a gift card for Omaha Steaks and if it wasnt for that I would have never purchased anything from their store. When I asked what grade the steaks are I was surprised to hear that they do NOT grade their meat and that the cows are grain fed. For these prices they should be grass fed. After inspecting the steaks I purchased, I would say that the ones I got are a prime cut. $99 for four 8 oz steaks is pretty high. Could have got the same cuts for half the price at Costco. This store is more about location, fancy boxes, and ripping people off then they are about steaks. It was a big indication of their client base when I found instructions on how to cook my steak inside the box.

I called their store a few weeks ago, and when I asked what grade their steaks make, he said mostly choice. They carry almost no USDA prime, supposedly because of the health concerns of customers, as if they dont want that or something. Let me be very clear for those of you who arent very educated about meat grading. The United States Department of Agriculture, rates steak for a reason. It is to stop the consumer from being bamboozled by people like this. The grades mean something. Prime is better than choice, choice can be bought in an restaurant or grocery store. So dont waste your money or time! You want to look for a supplier that has USDA prime beef, if it isnt prime, then you might as well just go to hy-vee or hen house. Dont be a fool, do your homework, dont take it from me. The stuff this place sells is nothing special.

Prices are pretty high unless you catch an item on sale. At the sale price things can be a reasonable buy, but I wouldnt call it a deal or anything.

I just had someone come to my house, looking around me into the house, while he tried to sell me Omaha Steak for $2-$3 a steak at my front door. Not cool. Creepy as hell.

Went into the Leawood KS location at Town Center to purchase a package for Father’s Day and the female associate was as pleasant and accommodating as can be. Went home and checked my mailbox and had a mailer for 12 free burgers with purchase of package. Went back less than 12 hours later with receipt in hand, and was met by a guy who was defiant to my situation and told me that I would have to drive home and bring back the food and have it returned and rerung to get my offer.... what damn sense does that make? I have the receipt and he saw I was there yesterday. If I bring it back in 95 degree weather I’m leaving it for a full refund and you’ll have to throw it away and I’ll just patronize KANSAS City Steak Co.No sense of customer service whatsoever... who is training these people???

I received this as a gift from my boss. You would be better off just buying Bubba burgers from Walmart because they are he same quality and you may as well throw away the twice baked potatoes in the trash because they are mushy and bland.

I purchased a box of Stuffed Sole Fillets today and we were so excited to cook it for dinner. Both my wife and I took a few bites and looked at each other and said this doesnt taste right. There was little to no flavor and the filling was some type of mushy bland dough with a few flecks of crab meat. Very disappointed!

They have good deals using Groupon. This is the only way I will pay for their products.

Received as a gift the twice bake potatoes are bland. I am sure they are not made with real potatoes. Franks were gross. Would give no stars but not an option.

Watery and gross, the package the individual meat is in break open really easily and cause the meat to become freezer burnt I will never buy from this company again!!!

Meat quality was subpar
