We purchased carpeting for the townhome we recently bought and worked with Maria at the Carpet Corner location at 136th and Roe. Besides being very knowledgeable and helpful in selecting the right carpeting for our new home, she was terrific helping us schedule installation. We had several different contractors working on painting the interior, electrical work and installation of tile. Coordinating amongst all these contractors was a challenge and Maria was able to get us scheduled in perfect alignment with the other work we had done. We are delighted with the results - the installation crew did a fantastic job and the carpet looks marvelous. Our tile contractor was booked until mid-September but Maria has already offered to send out a crew if any adjustments are needed where the tile meets the carpet after tile installation is complete. The entire carpet shopping experience was a breeze and Maria was delightful to work with.

Maria at Carpet Corner was most helpful in assisting us select an appropriate carpet for our sunroom. She did the measurements and followed up promptly with a quote that was competitive. The carpet was ordered and as soon as she verified that it was available in a 15 width, she called and we set an installation date. The installers showed up on time and were ready to work. Although we had moved some of the smaller items from the room, they readily jumped in and finished moving the heavier items. The installation process itself took a couple of hours and it looks fantastic - a tremendous improvement to the room... We were very pleased with the entire transaction from start to finish.

I recently purchased wall to wall carpet for our upstairs bedrooms and loft hallway. Needing carpet for my kids rooms I checked out Carpet Corner and a couple other flooring companies. Maria at Carpet Corner was wonderful in helping me find just the right carpet for my needs. She pointed me to a sale they were having that allowed me to get a much nicer carpet than any other company could for the price. I called a little over a week ago for a quote to lay new pad and re-stretch 10x12ish area of carpet. The carpet had to be pulled up because of a water line break in my basement. I was able to make an appointment for someone to come out and measure/ quote me for the above project and mentioned that if the carpet wasnt salvageable (things were still drying) I may want to purchase new. They sent someone out as promised and the gentleman was very nice, measured and spoke to me about the process required for both projects. Today I received a call that due to crew illness they were backed up 4-5 weeks and would not be able to do a new pad and re-stretch, however if I was still interested they did have time to do a whole new install. It apparently takes less time to install new (including stairs and landing) than it does to re-stretch less than half of the existing basement? Please keep in mind that I dont have a strong time frame for the repairs to be completed, as a matter of fact we never even spoke about a timeframe. I am unclear why they just didnt say from the beginning that they werent interested in helping me with my project. Had they been honest in the beginning I wouldnt have been upset or even left a review. I understand that this isnt a large money making job, but as I told the gentleman that came out to measure I have other flooring jobs that need to be completed after the basement is put back together. I am so disappointed in the customer service and lack of transparency.

I visited this store several months ago. Maria Harris was very and gave me several flooring samples to try out at home. I initially wanted to place an order without taking the samples home, but she insisted, and Im glad she did so because I ended up going with a different color. I was grateful for her help and would definitely shop here again!

Had such a positive experience 3 years ago when we replaced basement, staircase, and family room carpet, we went back in October 2019 to Carpet Corner and Mara Harris to replace the carpet in the entire second floor and two staircases. Maria was easy to work with, was a tremendous help with colors, trends, and with the large selection of carpet she kept us within our budget. The installers on both installs were professional and did a wonderful job. We still have three rooms left to replace carpet and we will be going back to Maria and Carpet Corner.

I had a great experience with the Leawood Carpet Corner. We replaced the floors in our basement with part carpet and part vinyl wood look flooring and it came out great. They went above and beyond to make sure it turned out perfectly. Maria managed my project. She was a joy to work with and really knows her stuff. Carpet Corner has been great to work with. We ordered carpet last winter but due to delays with our painter had to schedule the install in three(3) separate phases. We also decided to change the upstairs carpet after they had ordered it and they were very fair in the restocking charge. Maria Harris at the Leawood location has been very patient with us and has provided us with excellent service throughout this project. We still have the third phase to complete (replacing staircase) and look forward to having the house finished soon.

We recently finished having our carpet and tile replaced by Carpet Corner of Leawood. We had used Carpet Corner (Maria Harris in particular) a couple of years ago to begin this process in three rooms, and this was for the remaider of the house. Maria in sales did a wonderful job coming to our home to estimate what was needed and helping to coordinate our selections. Everything worked out perfectly, and we are extremely pleased with the results. Both the tile installers and carpet layers showed up exactly when scheduled, and removed the old and installed the new without any issues. Plus they did a great job of cleaning up!
