We had such a wonderful experience working with Lois at the Cabinet En Counter. She provided us with an incredible kitchen design and executed it to perfection. She is a very talented designer and her attention to detail was spot on perfect. She went above and beyond our expectations and the finished kitchen is absolutely amazing. She made our cabinets, counters and appliances come together and the finished project looks like something out of a magazine.........Is this my kitchen? .........just pinch me ❤️❤️❤️❤️I highly recommend the Cabinet en Counter for any of your projects. They will not disappoint
We would not recommend. Purchased expensive kitchen counter. Product itself seems stellar, but the quality of the installation horrible, even after a second attempt at correcting the install. First make sure you are clear on what you are getting. When selecting the counter it was described to us that the product could be used for seamless counters (big slabs). We did the purchase thinking we were getting seamless counters for our new high end kitchen remodel. After a 50% deposit, during the laser templating measurement day, we learned there would be seams. Then on install day, the fabricators did overhangs into the 30” stove insert area, making it less than 30” ( not standard) along with a few other mishaps. That was partially corrected at the redo day (which came after a post install visit by fabricators to understand the things we were not happy about). The pro technical fix it guy who the fabricators sent agreed that the seams were subpar and he wouldn’t accept them if it was his own home, he could do them better. The seams were redone to hopefully make disappear better, they are now whiter versus grayer. I could go on. Sales rep first tried to get me to pay the balance of job before redo saying that “it was within industry standards” ( this after the installer fix it guy saying he wouldn’t accept the job at his house?). After the agreed upon redo, I again got a text message to pay remaining balance without even a phone or text consultation to ask how the outcome was after redo. Later the owner apologized, but offered no discount even after I shared that I lost two days of salary (once for post install consult and second day for reinstall repairs). Owner did offer to pay the $120 for the Sheetrock repairs the reinstall caused, but to me this was a slap in the face insult. If this business makes the typical 40% markup, I would have thought a 15-20% discount on this $8k job would have been more reasonable and considerate given the C- outcome of job and inconveniences and loss of salary this cost me as buyer. Plenty of other places to buy kitchen counters in the upper valley! Post review edit: the owner response here is not my understanding of events and misleading.
My entire interior of the house looks amazing after renovation works done by this company. Great designers, great quality and great advice! I will definitely come back to Cabinet-en-Counter again if I buy a new house.
From start to finish Paul Jerome has been a pleasure to work with! He listened to our wants and desires in our kitchen and was able to incorporate our corner stove and microwave. We are very pleased with the quality and attention given in every step of the process to remodeling our kitchen and update bathroom vanities. I would highly recommend using Cabinet En-Counter. Great people, great design and great service. Top quality in every way!
Renovating a kitchen can be overwhelming and stressful. From the beginning to the end of our renovation Cabinet En-Counter was there throughout the entire process. The customer service they provide for their clients is exceptional. No detail was overlooked, and we love our new kitchen! I would highly recommend them if you are planning a remodel at anytime. Thank you Lois for your beautiful design and insight, and for answering my endless questions. It was a delightful experience!

The Cabinet En Counter is the place for your next Kitchen or Bath project. I highly recommend the experience ...
Susan and I want to thank the Cabinet En-Counter, Bob and staff for the friendly and professional service that they provided us with our recent granite counter purchase and instillation. We chose the Cabinet En-Counter for one important reason, personal service !! They provided us with all of the necessary information that we needed to make an informed decision regarding this important addition to our new kitchen. When there was a problem with the initial granite slab Bob was right there to follow through until he approved the final product. This was a positive and rewarding experience start to finish. Great service, Great products, Great price !! Thanks Bob and the Cabinet En- Counter.Doug and Susan Falzarano
I approached three different companies about renovating my kitchen. The Cabinet Encounter was by far the most responsive. They have a terrific selection of products, a lot of know-how, and easy one-stop shopping for everything you need, including appliances. I am so pleased with how our kitchen came out! And the down time was only four weeks. I hear lots of stories about kitchens being down for much longer than that. These folks are really great!
Extremely high quality kitchen cabinets, counters and appliances with knowledgeable sales and design team. Intricately designed showroom to experience the products before you buy.
I have been working with Bob and Nancy at Cabinet Encounter for a long time and they have always been so great to us! Best knowledge, inventory, prices in the area! Want to do your kitchen right? Go to Cabinet Encounter.
We had a great experience with Bob at Cabinet En-Counters. The fact that they had the two ranges that we were considering buying (along with several others) hooked up and ready to demo was a real draw. We made stir fry and cookies! We could have purchased here in Burlington from a local dealer, but went with Bob because of his enthusiasm and customer service. Great place!
From start to finish my experience with CEC was pleasant and effortless. Lois layed out a new design for our kitchen that utilized our space much more efficiently . After we received our new cabinets her detailed plans were extremely easy to follow and could not have been more accurate. It was fun installing them. No question this would be the go to place for your kitchen and bath needs.
I bought appliances from Cabinet En-Counter and had nothing but mistakes and problems. It was the worst experience and customer service Ive ever experienced. I do NOT recommend. Beware. They may be great for cabinets, but for appliances, this was a nightmare in every way.
Theyre amazing people to work with. You will be truly blessed working with them.
Cabinet en-Counter gave us a very competitive price, and the workmen did a reasonably good job. However, a couple of very minor alterations during the templating resulted in unreasonable surcharges. Follow-up on minor matters was, to say the least, lethargic, and a seam that we conceded (out of convenience to the company) to be made in a certain place was made elsewhere. When we pointed this out to the owner of the company, he acknowledged the error, but he did not offer remedial measures -- and he refused to budge on the unreasonable surcharges.
My husband and I had a very positive experience with Cabinet En-Counter.We undertook the renovation of the kitchen and bathroom/laundry in our old farmhouse. Lauren Nelson, kitchen and bath designer, worked with us diligently. After the initial visit, she stopped in many more times to go over design layouts and ideas, guided us through the myriad of options for cabinets, appliances, cabinet hardware, countertops, colors, etc. She also connected us with a good construction company that was able to perform the work in the timeframe we desired. Cabinet-En-Counter, in addition to all the cabinetry, also offers the service of ordering appliances and fixtures at competitive prices, storing in a warehouse until the project is ready for appliances, and delivering. Lauren stopped in several times as well during the project, answering design layout questions and handling any problems that inevitably arose. We are very pleased with the outcome and extremely satisfied clients.
Enjoyed working with Bob and staff at Cabinet En-Counter as he was most knowledgeable and patient and provided a terrific product that is serving us well. We recommend Cabinet En-Counter highly.
Excellent customer and design service from start to finish. Everything looks amazing and the quality of the product shows!
Lauren has been great to work with, she is very knowledgeable and makes the remodeling process easy and fun.
Concerned and friendly service; really enjoyable to deal with Bob Gerlach

Erin did a commercial job for me and did an excellent job
My wife and I selected Cabinet En-Counter based on the numerous positive reviews of Katie, the designer that customers raved about. In our experience, Katie was generally unavailable, either being on vacation multiple times in a sixty day span, or away at design conferences. Bob, the owner, made regular excuses about how short-handed and overworked they were when we brought up our concerns over missed deadlines and incorrect configurations, but offered no alternatives except for his guarantee that we would be happy in the end. Well, Im certainly happy that this experience is behind me, especially after spending nearly a week with a non-functional kitchen due to missed deadlines.Because of Katies unavailability, my wife ended up coordinating all of the work with our contractor, and wound up selecting most items in the design without Katies guidance, including, all plumbing, all lighting, and driving an hour to the stone cutter in the eleventh hour just to make sure the countertop color was correct after a botched delivery date was mishandled by CE. When the cabinets were delivered, there were major issues with color inconsistencies, and instead of jumping to make sure we were happy (a promise often spoken of) we were given extensive run-around and we ultimately gave up fighting just to have a completed kitchen, which still wasnt completely finished for three weeks past the deadline. Cabinet En-Counter never took accountability on any of these issues, and instead, in a truly ludicrous moment, the never-present Katie argued with me that I should have been more involved in the process. I reminded her that my part of the process was paying for her engagement as the project manager (though admittedly, in terms not nearly that polite).I would recommend looking elsewhere, even at the much-maligned Home Depot, for your kitchen and bath design and remodeling.
Excellent service! Bob knows his appliances!
