This is an edit to my previous review. I had previously left a negative review due to some confusion over a military discount. The gentlemen at the Gun Shop promptly contacted me and sent a letter and gift certificate to their shop due to the miscommunication. Although I was angry at first I understand that miscommunications happen. It was very professional of them to make right of what happened and I sincerely appreciate the gesture! I encourage everyone to shop at and support this local business as they provide quality firearms at fair prices!
Great place, they were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back, best gun shop Ive been in for a long time bar none.
Great customer service very little selection of guns but reasonable prices.
I dont know what all the 1 and 2 stars are about but ive bought stuff from this place and there alway friendly and nice.great place to go
Great service and helpful prices are good very client oriented
The staff was very professional, very helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. I brought in a handgun for repair, and the owner showed me how to fix it easily myself for no cost. Then, he continued working with me on buying the correct products to keep it working. Prices are fair and people are nice.
Good dudes just never open
I was prepared to purchase a rifle and handgun, which they didnt have. Thats fine, but they said they couldnt order the guns. The were very friendly and I could have better understood the difficulty they are having during this difficult time.
Staff was very helpful and friendly with my first firearm purchase. Will definitely go to them for all my future needs!
I’m not sure what the negative reviews are from. I went in there after going to several other gun stores in the area and this is by far one of the nicer ones I’ve been to, with in house cerakoting, gun smithing and actually had a great supply of items here. Some people are complaining that they were talked “down” but some people need to be educated when purchasing a firearm for the first timeSo glad I found this place.
Awesome shop! I have purchased and had repairs done. Wonderful customer service service!
Very verry unprofesinal. Ill educated rude. They actuly sold my mom a 22 hand gun for home proection. A 22 wont even stop a dog let alone a 150 pound man runing at her. This place is a joke and the 22 was 470$ are you kidding me!! Rediculus price for a 22
Terrible experience. Treated my fiancé and I like children and were beyond rude to both of us. The old guy working was an arrogant P.O.S. I would highly recommend going to any other gun shop in the area, or driving to the Nashville armory. They will actually give you good customer service and not treat you like you’re bothering them. Obviously they have enough business to where they didn’t want the money I was prepared to spend on a revolver and shotgun. Do not bother walking in this establishment because I promise you will be disappointed and treated very poorly
Passing through Lebanon and while my wife shopped the outlet mall, I called the local gun shops looking for specific shotgun accessories. This place actually had several examples of what I needed (compared to offering to order for me) and the shop was easy to find. Very helpful folks there including offering tips for installing the accessories. They went the extra mile to make sure the parts actually fit my shotgun. Great customer service and I hope to visit them again when we are back this way.
Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend this gun store over all the other ones in Lebanon TN.
Would not recommend for purchases based off of prices and services. Handguns are overpriced along with lack of knowledge. Taurus & Walther handguns overpriced by $75-$100. No customer service on product after the purchase made. When spoken to over the phone yes you can ask our gunsmith and when in the building everything is a secret and cant talk to anyone.
I have went to this store several times everyone is always nice. They are very helpful and dont put pressure on you. They also have a no regrets promise that is excellent!
Great to deal withHas worked on multiple rifles for meGreat job
I have purchased a few weapons from them and other items and I found it to be a good experience and personable also competitive pricing .
Everyone is so helpful. You want be sorry if you buy from them. They also have a gun smith. Great visit!
Ha.... wish they would shut down. Every other bad review.... agreed with. From the knowledge. To staff not being friendly. Prices.... outrageous on most.
Overall satisfied with my experience.(mostly because the gun I purchased was marked down to dealer cost) Nice selection of handguns and supplies. Got a great deal on a great handgun. Thanks LGS.Only complaint is the person originally handling my sales transaction declined looking at my trade. This in and of its self did not bother me, but when she told me that my trade had been recalled and people had been scared of the gun, of course I wanted more information on the subject. The young man who completed my transaction was interested in this subject as well and researched it with me for a few minutes and was not able to find any information to support her claim. After extensive research and even contacting Remington dealers I found that my arm had never been recalled at all. What a relief. But relief of a concern planted by a salesperson that didnt want to consider my trade? Not sure. Just glad the gun was never recalled.
I had high hopes after seeing the Best of Wilson County sign in the window, but man, oh man. The old bat behind the counter was a real treat. I am pretty sure she instantly disliked me because I came in wearing blue checks and not camouflage. I asked if the gunsmith was in, and the entire time we spoke, she treated me as if she had literally just seen me run over one of her 36 cats in the parking lot. She was rude, and assumed I was asking for immediate service on a smithing issue. I obviously was not, but the way she responded to my inquiry is literally enough for me to never go again. Which is a shame, because I had money to spend, and smithing work that needs to be done.Ill drive the 40 miles to Nashville Armory.
Most friendly shop I have been in ever. I love just going to see what is new every few weeks. Gunsmith service is wonderful
The price on the stock I wanted was MSRP so I’ll give them credit for that. Mistakenly, I purchased the incorrect spec stock and called the store back a couple of hours later. I initially asked if they had the correct that I could exchange for and the lady looked and stated that she didn’t. So then I asked if they could order the stock and let me exchange it and she told me that the company didn’t make that model in the spec I needed. Then we went around about a refund and the hassle of it and a new buffer tube... Long story short I called the company that makes the stock brand the Rep apologized for the inconvenience. He also apologized for me being lied to because the company does make the product in the spec needed. Bottom line, I don’t believe certain business is appreciated by this store and I have already began to spread the word it’s not a place you would want to spend your money.
I give them a 3 only because there wasnt a smile in the place. It was a very cold environment with bloodless attitudes and while she was willing to order what they didnt have she didnt seem too interested in doing so. She simply went to a computer. Wrote down on a piece of paper the price and slid it around to me as if to say (can you read?) . No words. When I asked if they could do better on the price ( being at the absolute highest end of the spectrum) the amswer was a quick and stern no . Well alrighty then! I wont go back.
Great shop. Very friendly. Probably the most friendly store out of all the stores Ive been to in the past 2 years.
Everybody there is friendly helpful and knowledgeable. Great experience. I will be back.
I went into the shop with a specific and rather odd request. I needed a spent casing of a particular caliber. They were very accommodating and went out of their way to get the caliber I needed and then were kind enough to give it to me. No charge.
David and his family are extremely nice people and are very helpful. I asked for his experience with lubes for an AR and he showed me his recommendations, but he didnt have the Slip2000 EWL in stock that I was asking about in particular. He did have a sample bottle in the back and quickly gave me that to try out. We ended up coming back later so my Dad could buy a Ruger SR1911. They were not pushy at all during the sale and let us look at anything we wanted too. I love supporting a Christian owned and run business and will definitely continue to buy there.
Great place to shop. Ive bought a bit from them so far and plan to be seeing them a lot more in the future. Good people to deal with and very helpful.
Decent pricing available on their products. Recommended for those in the market for these items.
I called and the people had exactly what I needed and they were very kind to me and made it a wonderful experience! Ill definitely be back!
Im giving them 5 stars for their overall selection, ammo/guns/cleaning supplies. I wish they carried more accessories like magpul mags handgun/rifle. Youll rarely sell what you never carry.
If I could give this place a -0 (negative zero) star I would! The owner is rude and childish, not to mention he has a disability phobia! He threatened, yelled, and pointed his finger at me because I didn’t agree with him....AND he was the one wearing the gun! If I wasn’t married to law enforcement or had never been in law enforcement he may have intimidated me (which is what I think his intentions were) but I am and I have been, so it didn’t!I mean maybe because he’s such a “little” jerk he needs to act out in front of his friends that way....but come on...I’m 5’1 1/2.....he actually may have had 1/2 inch on me...but I’m sure the nice gentalman behind the counter would have saved him from me if he asked nicely.Where I come from we jerk a knot in our kids behinds when they start acting like a bully....maybe he needs to go back to his parents for a do over!
Really didnt have time for me. Even though I was the only one there. I asked how much to replace sights 40 minimum for a screw and a push. I might not seem like a gun fabatic but I know what its like to have good customer service. As they mocked me. I countinued. But the overall is just bad.
Great hometown store!
The new Springfield I purchased did not come as the company ships, no 2and magazine, no carrying bag. Charged me $25 for an extra magazine. Plus no range to practice? Will not return!
Great service. Great customer service and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will return.
Excellent work on my firearm. Will recommend this place to my friends.
Nice and knowledgeable people. Been there several times and always very helpful.
RIDICULOUS prices and the staff was is NOT very knowledgeable. The gentleman whom I spoke too has never heard of Tikka and when I asked about ordering a Tikka T3x he asked me if that was a firearm. The average price for an FFL to receive a firearm in Nashville is $20-$25, but this business wants $50 and the additional $10 for a background check.Look around, the business is waaaayy over priced for their forearms.
What a joke David loves kicking people out if write a bad review about is store. I rather go to the Reloaders Bench In My Juliet any way.
Always had great service and found it to have everything you need or they will order it .. Great place ..
I took my Ruger Redhawk to the Lebanon Gun Shop to be worked on. The gun had to be sent back to Ruger . David took care of that for me even through I didnt buy the gun from him. When it came back David put a lighter spring in it and smoothed out the trigger. Now the gun works perfect and because of the trigger work my grouping has improved and has improved my accuracy. Thanks David.
Great shop that carries ammo that I can never find anywhere else.
Great mr wilson is honest manAnd does rite by every one
Everyone was very friendly and courteous. Very Informative.
Quite helpful to me on my 2 trips there.
Great customer service. Glad they are starting to carry more reloading supplies .
Went to the shop to get a gun was turned down because of background check. called TBI 2 wks later to find out it was over turned same day it was turned down.. Went back into shop to get the gun they stated they never got info from TBI so i asked for them to call and they stated it was overturned same day. few wks later went back in to get a scope and the man sold me a scope and all i needed to mount it. WRONG he doesnt know what he is doing .Had to go to a real gunsmith to get everything needed to mount the scope and to have it mounted. will not go back to this place for anything again not worth the aggravation.
Just a word of caution, I went in to buy a box of ammo and they wanted to put me in their computer data base. I know it was probably for marketing purposes, when I declined to be added, they then asked to see my drivers license. I let them see my license (I shouldnt have), all just to buy a box of 380 ammo. The kicker is that I have been buying ammo there for months and have never been asked for my drivers license. I expect a background check for a weapon purpose but not for a box of shells. I think this bunch might be enjoying a big boom in business right now and perhaps they think they can do customers any way they want, but the rush to buy guns and ammo will end and customers remember the way they were treated. Needless to say I wont be doing business with this bunch again. Just to let everyone know, walmart is getting there ammo stocks back up, they dont ask to see your drivers license to buy ammo and their prices are much better.
This shop is ridiculous. Ill never go back and be treated like that. I was trying to spend $20 and they wanted my info. I refused to give it to them and they would not stop asking for my driver license so I just left.
David Wilson brings a lot to the table; a lifetime outdoors man, expert level marksman and as an Engineer, his career that has spaned many years - is marked by honesty, dedication and attention to detail. And with all of that, he is a pretty good guy.The prices are very fair on both firearms and optics. His no pressure approach is like having a knowledgeable friend walk you through the options to help you make an informed decision on your purchase.I will purchase from him again. I only explored the front counter and the selections on the wall, the rest of the store is packed-to-the-gills with selections of reloading equipment (I believe he has 4 presses mount on a bench area next to the front counter), holsters and shooting supplies.I do not think anyone can beat his prices on glocks, and his selection of 5.56mm plinkers to the newest high end competitive piston type rifles should help you get started with some fun, safe shooting. His store will be my go to source for all of my shooting needs.D.L.
