Prices are marked up compared to other commisaries in southern California. Not much options. Restock are slim and not much variety. Its a gloomy store or maybe its the dim lights.
Nas Lemoore commissary is a mid sized store with a good variety of products and reasonable prices. The meat quality is excellent compared to civilian grocery stores with a significant number of prime offerings which are almost unheard of at civilian grocery stores. While a bit limited, the fruits and vegetables were very fresh and excellent quality. My primary store at Like AFB is much bigger with a greater variety but no fresher goods or any higher quality than here in Lemoore.
Outstanding service, your Employees very cordial. Gas is high compared to Tachi.Again, Love the customer Service, relaxing!
Great selection, great prices, the staff are really nice, easy and convenient parking. I wish it were available to me 7 days a week but on Mondays they are closed and Tuesdays theyre only open to active duty military.
It was very nice. My daughter-in-law found everything she needed.
This review is for the folks at the Baja Fresh in the food court. Thank you sweet people for building me very specific bowls and refilling my cup with ice every day for three weeks!!!
Its okay. Not a Miramar, North Island, 32nd street or NOLF commissary. Its there but not worth the trip from Fresno to Lemoore
Great shopping for those that have access
Man-I love this place!
Just used the self serve check out. Been using it all the time and other stores outside and I was following machine instructions. The machine keeps going haywire that day but the cashier was getting mad at me saying I dont follow instructions. And if I dont know how to use it then I should leave... I said I was following instructions and he needs to check the machine. Commissary must not hire cashiers with this kind of bad customer service attitude. There is a few of them at this comissary.
Good prices as you expect. Always smells musty walking in. You have to bag everything up yourself. Parking lot is in terrible shape, it shakes the cart so much my hands go numb from holding while pushing it out to the car.
Nice store good deals
For being on base it has its ups and downs. For one, not overly crowded, the prices range from high to low. Meaning spme things you may hfind at a great price while others you may find cheaper out in town. But overall a great facility.
It was clean and customer service was great, lots of products was available.
Very nice choices for the military family not to have to run into nearby stores to shop 👍 👍
They have food. 10/10 would get food from there again.
Our place to go each month for savings and enjoy other Great Americans who volunteered to Serve our Nation! God Bless our current and past service Members and their enduring family members!
I wish they had better produce and more gluten free options. They use to carry gluten free nuggets then stopped. Gluten free brownies then stopped. Their produce seems to rot in just a day or 2 after buying.I do like their meat selection and cooked roasted chicken is always good. Its just a small store so they dont have everything we need.
For a Master Jet Base, its one of the smaller Commissaries, with not nearly the variety of stuff youll find in Oceana or San Diego Commissaries. But for what its worth, you should be able to find the nessecary ingredients you need for basic meals and such.
It has what you need
This commissary isnt bad but I wish they had more things. I was in San Diego and went used to go to the commissary there and they had everything you wanted. For being on the one of the largest navy bases, it doesnt make sense that the commissary is the size that it is and only has a certain selections that has. I do have to give him credit for having someone that makes sushi fresh during the day.the commissary isnt bad but I wish they had more things. I wish I lived closer I go every other month good deals good prices
For all service member its a great place to go they have what you need and good prices and very clean .great customer service.
Its ok not too bad. Some staff are friendly.
Nice place
Good selection and nice people working the store. Offers most of what you could need. The sushi looks well made and fresh. They keep it clean and organized and thats good enough for me.
Considering this is the only convenient place we have to shop living on base id only go here for the meat go else where for fresh fruits and veggies and everything else. Take the drive to handford or elsewhere... also wish it was bigger with more options.
No taxes for Active duty! Hooyah navy lol
Fruit and veg produce is usually overpriced. Milk and dairy products spoil before dates
Love our Commissary. Being retried and over 80 we need our baggers back. I know its because of the virus but we all wear masks.
Lots of good deals but you have to know which ones because some are cheaper outside the base.
Everything you need in a grocery store
Not bad for a commissary. Only downside is a small amount of organic items, otherwise its for the most part cheaper than typical grocery stores.
Always check to make sure the food isnt already expired. The other day I wanted to buy lemons, reached for one and my fingers went through it as it was so rotted...so disgusting but pretty standard for the commissary.
Good 👍
Always clean place to shop.
Need baggers back. Lines move way to slow. HAVE price on stuff. Stood at resister waited and waited. Finnally walked out.
Considering the size of this base, number of families/personnel stationed on it, and its proximity to literally nothing for miles, I figured the Commissary would be a little nicer, a little bigger, and have a little more selection. Unfortunately its usually a better bet to drive the 20 minutes to the nearest town for a better grocery store. The Commissary is more of a quick stop convenience store than a full blown grocery store.
Fully stocked MOST of the time (except TP during pandemic) They have a wide selection and I can depend on them to have the better prices.
The Commissary is the commissary. Great value and great products. Be very wary. It can get very, very crowded. Especially on the weekends. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The produce is fresh and there are a lot of sales that go on in the Commissary. Just bear in mind the long wait times and the screaming toddlers running around.
Has almost everything I need! Quite a few vegan items but could definitely use more, vegan cheeses, creamers, and ice creams would be great! Otherwise its nice and clean and employees are friendly and helpful!
Convenient
Place was busy for a Tuesday evening. Had some help from a stocker, looking for specific onion. Found the things I needed with ease. Cashier was pleasant and the baggers were efficient. Good event!
Any military affiliation will appreciate both commissary and exchange.
The commissary special ordered my favorite tea which was sold at commissaries on east coast. That was awesome. Produce selection of organic variety is nonexistent here in growing capital of the country. They do carry organic chicken and beef though.Prices on other items beat anything in town.
Pretty great prices they have just about everything I need. My wife and I dont really like the produce. We usually go somewhere else for fresh fruit and vegetables. But otherwise a good place to go shopping.
Always have a good experience here. Prices make the trip worthwhile, weather short or long.
Decently clean store, lines are long (usually), and the staff are helpful.
Ever since they got a new vender or who ever in charge of the food . Like meat has gone down .The International roll that they have every year is getting smaller and I love getting stuff if they have it.I wish they would sell bones so I can make fresh stocks.but on the good side they remodel At first it was frustrating .Then when they finished. It feels better to walk around the store .The workers are friendly and quiet .I have no complaint about them.
Great lunch sandwiches at the deli and a good selection. Free coffee at the entrance too. One of the better base commissaries Ive shopped at.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Decently priced, but not consistent on products which is to be expected. DO LOOK OUT FOR MOLD!!!!!!!! I brought home kraft and freedom choice brand of cheese, and a few days later well BEFORE the expiration date, they were covered in mold, and I almost bought a bag of bacon bits that was literally mold in a bag. Ive never been to a commissary that had such a terrible quality control problem.
Always a great shopping experience at the lemoore commissary! Great prices, no tax, and awesome friendly staff
Probably the smallest commissary Ive ever been to. Staff are friendly and the store stays clean. But the limited size means very limited products. Overall they do a good job, but might want to expand building.
Excellent customer service from employes. Although it was under construction remodeling part of store, We had no issues or an inconvenient visit. Very pleased with our shopping experience.
Dont have a fresh seafood bar. Rarely even have seafood at all. The meat section is the smallest Ive ever encountered. I believe that they should consider expansion. Its very small. So most of these people saying good things about it must have never been to any other commisary. I dont like the fact that there are certain thing that you just wont be able to get. It got a two because its easy to find and because at least they have one smh. The workers are awesome as well. No problems there lots of awesome workers.
Recently remodeled, still wondering why all our facilities are small when we are the master jet base of the west....the largest naval air base person for person... even if 2 CAGs are deployed....., our spouses and children are still here... strangely enough I have to say... the commissary sushi 🍣 is the best in the entire Central valley.... that felt weird to say.... even weirder that its true.
Not sure if the bagger spoke English gave him a tip that he probably didnt deserve and doesnt even say thank you just grunts and walks away
Literally watched the self checkout attendant make faces at his phone for snap chat or whatever for 5 minutes before he finally looked up long enough to fix a flashing register so it could be used. But hey! I found what I needed.
Good prices great service
General variety of things, they dont carry everything if you are looking for specific food items but have a pretty good selection like a small town locally owned grocery store.
Clean and friendly location seemed to have all of the items we look for and some things not commonly found in other places.
Great place, great people. If only that rest of the world were as kind and considerate
Really great prices, but some of the shelves could be stocked more. Other than that great store.
Very good prices on all products, I really enjoy shopping there
Enjoy the commissary but very irritated that items I count on purchasing go away never to return which forces me to shop for them elsewhere. If I want them from the commissary I can only get them if I special order a case qty.
Its alright. To bad its Lemoore so theres that
Best prices ever. Nice staff, too!
Shelves were stocked okay. But you needs someone to check items that are on the top shelves and they are in the back (unable) to reach it. We were going to stand on the bottom shelves and try to get the items. So since we were unable to reach them, we decided not to buy those items. There is no one around to get help.
They have gluten free things. And sometimes have great sales
Love the prices. Have the stuff I need most of the time. Vert clean
Prices are good, and theyve recently added more products to the store, and the cashiers are super friendly.
Excellent prices and convenient after work stop
Staff more than helpful. Prices are great.
Good prices, store is clean. Baggers that actually take your groceries to your car for you.
Good prices on meat, decent produce, convenient because its on base
I like ve this place, best deals ever...
The buble drinks were in stock.
Like most commissaroes. Good lunch options!
Get in, get what you need, get out... people are waiting. Youd think theyd have a large one here like Oceana, but I guess not.
Was great
Been going for 15 years. Still good prices.
Great products & friendly staff
Lots of stuff to buy at great prices.
Sandwiches are so good!:)
Good sized & very clean commissary.
Its nice for its size.
Really good prices. But I honestly wish it was open later.
Great people great prices
As commissaries go, this is one of the better ones.
Very nice Exchang an commissary facility
The associates are always friendly.
High quality food for excellent prices
Nice place to grocery shop
Shelves were kind of bare. I guess payday tomorrow?
It is most definitely a one stop shop but i thought it would be a bit a cheaper being that it is for our heroes and their families.
As an active duty member the commissary saves us money.
Because we needs to help our service people!!!
Food library is the best
