The entire process was perfect. From the initial call to inquire about the replacement of a windshield all the way until the completion of the work. The representative that answered my original call (I wish I could remember her name) was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. They did a good job and it did not take them too long to complete it. Portland Glass did a great job. They actually called me a day early and fit me in prior to my scheduled appointment. They must have had a cancelation. My windshield was placed quickly and diligently. It was nice to drive without a crack across my view. I am thankful Portland Glass was able to help me out.

Unsatisfied with my service on March 5th 2021.Portland Glass replaced my windshield which I was happy with but they forgot to reassemble my windshield wiper housing to the windshield wiper motors. So when I went to use them they didn’t work. As Mainers we all know how driving can be very dangerous if it’s raining or snowing and don’t have the ability to use our wipers to clear our obstructed view. So I secured my wiper arms back to the motors and thought maybe my wipers weren’t replaced. Sure enough they weren’t so I drove back to the shop and they gave me some wipers to replace. After leaving I was happy again because wipers take like 1 minute or less to replace but after I put 1 wiper on I noticed the other wiper didn’t have any plastic parts to lock in the wiper. So here I am again driving down to the shop and I was informed they didn’t have any 21inch wipers in stock and I was given a 22inch wiper instead. Just my luck. I brought my vehicle in to have a windshield chip fixed. After taking the vehicle into their shop they said it was too large a crack to fix. I went to another local glass business and they asked (without my telling) who tried to repair the crack noticing the crack had been drilled. Long story short, Portland Glass attempted to repair the chip, failed and made the crack larger. This is fine, but they never told me they tried to fix it but couldnt. I attempted to contact them twice once finding this out(calling their service center and the Lewiston location directly and left messages for the manager but I never heard back).

This was great. I work nights and it was so nice to be able to set up an appointment for Portland Glass to come to my house, replace my windshield, put my mirror & stickers back on and left invoice in the vehicle and I awoke and got ready for work and there it was. Thank you for being so accommodating.

The gentleman showed up on time, clean, polite and courtious. He made small talk and my mother in law and daughter were very comfortable. The quality of work was exceptional. All the stickers were removed and placed perfectly in the windows as before. Very pleased with our experience.

My vehicle was vandalized at Range Pond while I was swimming and at the playground with my daughter. Staff was friendly when replacing my brothers windshield. We looked it over and didnt find anything wrong. All the stickers were back in place, and they even put in a brand new rear view mirror which my brother was quite pleased to have since his other one had broken.

We ordered a shower surround and although it took awhile to come in because of delay from the glass supplier, in the end it looked great and they did a great job with the installation.

Great service and always a great price

I brought a frame in for a replacement mirror and they had it for three weeks. I called on Monday and they said they would look into and call me back. I never received a call back so on Tuesday I picked up my frame and took it to another glass shop.
