I heard a thump and a clunk as I was driving on 35E North and wondered if something fell out from under my car. Took a look and had a flat tire, then drove to this place which was nearby, and had a great experience! They took a look, asked if I wanted a new tire, I said if its the sidewall, but what do you think about the treads. The gentleman said the treads look good. So they did the repair and fixed it for $17.50 and it was done in 15 minutes or so. I asked if I could leave a tip and they said not with my credit card. Unfortunately I didnt have any cash on hand. Anyway, I appreciate it, and will plan to keep yall in mind in the case I need to have my tires changed or some other auto work. This review, is one of the ways I am saying thank you.Sincerely,Erik

Got a fraudulent charge of $75 on my debit card form Porter Tire Lewisville. I have never been to your store. Someone is using yall to commit fraud using skimmed debit cards.

Went to Porter Tire and automotive yesterday with a flat that couldnt be fixed. The tire needed to be replaced. The owner went out of his way to try and get one but couldnt find it in the database. I had to go to the dealer in Grapevine. I could have made it to the dealer with my run flat tire but the owner put a loaner tire on for me to make sure I got there safe at no charge! Highly recommend this place and will definetely go back if any future tire needs arise.

Its been there a real long time. They take really good care of their loyal customers. Still has a nice small town feel to it if they know you they always make you feel welcome if they dont they make you feel welcome.

I recently took my wifes vehicle to a local dealership. The dealerships estimate was over $700. I took it to Porters, same repair $220. All I can say is, theyre honest. Rare these days.

Ive been here twice and each time Ive been blown away by the price and speed of service. Today I came in for a tire patch. I had 2 other shops try to sell me 4 tires since the screw that was in my rear driver tire was too close to the sidewall. I got quotes for around 600 at each place. I brought my car in today and the tech said no problem. 10 minutes and $15 later and I was driving away. The other two places had me there for at least 45 minutes to give me a quote. Im not trying to put down the other two places. Ive been to both before for other things and received excellent service, but I really want to give a shout out to this helpful local business. Thanks a million. Or thanks 600 at least. :)

Ordered some hard to find wheel studs From Case at Porter Tire, his service and professionalism was impressive. Not to mention how fast my studs arrived. Its great to deal with a locally owned company that knows their business. I will shop with Porter Tire again

Awesome! Called to make an appointment, they said it wasn’t necessary and even recommended the best times to come. They found the tiny nail in my tire, fixed it, and I was on my way in less than half an hour. Price was beyond reasonable, the service was friendly, and I left with a smile on my face. They definitely earned my future business and recommendations to others.

AMAZING! It only took 20 min for them to put my tires on! I LOVE THAT! Very nice people. We communicated online exclusively. The emailed me an estimate, I gave the ok to go, they ordered my tires and BAM, all done, paying exactly what they quoted me. Ill be purchasing all the tires for all my cars here from now on! Porter has always been my go-to place for tires. They have a small-town feel and excellent customer service. If you are in the Lewisville area and want to get away from the big box tire stores go to Porter.

AWSOME customer service did not over charge and did a detailed inspection of my car found I needed a air compressor. The parts we had bought where returned and able to be exchanged for new one they will only use quality parts no refurbished do to there fail rate.

After one of the national brand tire companies in town told me they could not patch a tire that I had already plugged, Porter Tire took care it of without any problem.

Overpriced. I had called to get the price up front and they had me around $35 total they came put my spare on total of five minutes fir$75. Wish they had been honest from the beginning. Learned my lesson. I was in a parking lot I wouldve paid someone less than half that to let me borrow their jack.

Our mechanic for years. Very honest and reliable people. Integrity is the best trait of a mechanic and Porter Tire has it.

The Porter team was friendly and fair. They worked on my car all day and until 7 pm on a Friday night. That was an hour past closing. Because of the age of my car and the problems it was having Bill suggested the water pump be replaced also. I agreed, as this car, 2008 Buick LaCrosse, has been labor intensive, kind of a problem child. It seems everything is hard to get to

Best Tire and Auto in DFW Metroplex

Had a screw in my tire about 1 inch from centerline of tread. Went to NTB and was told that because of the screws position, most likely would need to be replaced. BS.. Came to Porter Tire and got it fixed for $10 and took 10 minutes.
