Terrible customer service! I love this location and miss Patty and the manager wanted to start speaking spanish thinking I wasn’t bilingual, and they were being super rude and interrupting my friend when she was asking a simple question about a coupon. They gave me the coupon but wouldn’t let her use hers??? They accused us of using the same phone for a coupon & for STEALING!!! Terrible customer service.

I picked an item and the tag fill off while trying it on. I put the tag back on. Manager refused to sell it to me. I said lady name you price if you this tag does not belong to the item. She said not until tomorrow. It is used items. Lol. What’s wrong with these people?

I have been shopping at thrift giant for years and years I think they’ve been around for 40 years. The pricing if you watch out for the sales is absolutely amazing! I love the way that they are clean, organized, and always courteous. There are always dozens of people to check you out and or help you in anything you need. It is a must visit place. Happy shopping

I usually like this store and is quite clean BUT the fitting room situation is frustrating and inconvenient! AND you cannot return items for a refund!!! Using the fitting rooms will NOT transmit COVID-19. I saw several frustrated customers who also wanted to try on clothes. Salvation Army has had open fitting rooms for months now!!! Please open up your fitting rooms and make your customers want to come back!

Place was cleaner than when CCA owned it. Now its Thrift Giant. I went in looking for winter sweaters. Spent a while in the store, but I found some good items for me and my girls, including light jackets, some which were 99 cents. I even found a table and chair( 5.99) for my first grade classroom and an 11 piece organization shelf for the girls too. (9.99). I just need to sand down the table and chair and paint it. Staff was friendly.

Great place to shop, but maybe not the best one to drop off your fragile donations.Kid comes out to collect my donation of kitchenware and other various glass items.Me: Careful, this one has a lot of glassware in itKid: Doesnt say anything, but proceeds to throw the box as soon as he gets inside the door.We heard everything break.Make sure you pre-shatter your donations if the mute with headphones comes out to your car.

Like any of the other Thrift Shops great place to buy cheap stuff. The trick is to come a day before a sale event and find what you like. Then proceed to hide it so you can buy it the next day at half off.

I usually find great stuff at a bargain everytime I go. The staff is very pleasant and helpful.

Would not recommend. Prices have inflated over the years and it’s very difficult to find a good deal. Might as well shop at home goods with those prices. There are better thrift stores in the area with better customer service.

A lot of items did not have price tags on it and they cant sell it to you if theres no price there was a lot of really nice stuff that had no price on it at all very disappointing

I would have given more stars if theyd change the no returns policy for clothes. Now that they wont let you try on the clothes before ya buy them. They should allow returns with a receipt, as long as it has been less than a week or so. I cant believe they have not made that change along with them closing The changing rooms!

Pretty clean. Plentiful stock of toys and clothes. Limited reading material was disappointing. Since their reopening prices have risen considerably. Overall pleasant experience.

This is the place to go if you are shopping for clothes. The prices are very reasonable and the clothing was in good shape.

I when did the store and spent over an hour to pick 3 items to items were not priced and they would not give me a price saying they couldnt sell it to me because they had to take the back and couldnt get a manager to override it. I contacted the manager who was very stubborn in saying that she can do that its the company policy for a non profit organization who Ive donated so much to their becoming so staunch theyre hurting themselves in the process. I would say that a better donation might be Salvation Army or one of the other competitors because theyre going to do more with your donation to help a cause. I dont like to waste my time because someone didnt do there job and the manager was not willing to price the merchandise when the store was at fault.

So far this trip is bizarre . The people that work here are troubled and I cant get the time Ive been followed like some kind of clepto. And harassed by so many chiefs. And I thought this place is an alright deal. Here is some photos

I just called the store in Lewisville. A male answered the phone. I asked him were they were having a sale this week...He responded saying they close at 9. I said no I am asking if your store is having a sale this week. He said let me get my manager on the phone. I could tell he put the phone down. Then someone hung the phone up. I called back twice and they just kept picking up and hanging up the phone. If this is the kind of customer service Thrift Giant has I do not wanna give them any business. This was very rude and unprofessional behavior.

The experience was good a lot to view not too much in the way of furniture other then recliners. Theres at least two rows of every type of clothing and a lot to select from in small items.check out didnt take long.

You have to be willing to dedicate time and energy when you come here if you want to find the thing you cant live without. Mostly clothing so dont expect to find that much of anything else. Great sales when they have them, although they do close the fitting rooms during the sales so be aware.

They said they are LGBTQ friendly but then had no gay shirts? Like pick a team...

Definitely disappointed, the loudspeaker in store loudly announced the 55+ senior discount several times but failed to give any warning that the store was closing soon, then we got to the register to find out the discount was for 60+. Very irritating.

The best thrift store around! Renovations have nicely opened the store layout. New items added each day. And the staff are great- always attentive. A great place to treasure hunt!

Heard they changed names and owners.This was a great place about8yrs ago.Than someone else bought it.Brought in a bunch of garbage and raised the prices.Glad they sold and hope the new place is much better.About time for change in Lewisville thrift stores.I suggest thrift world.new people there also.must be something in the air but I like the changes already.As far as thrift world okay on clothes prices but not to good at pricing junk that dont amount to anything. You cant sell stuff that is used and not in good condition.no one wants it.reprice that stuff for like one dollar.

Although I get the concept of this place, its a thrift store, and some prices do not reflect that so well. Some things are amazing deals you just need to have plenty of time to walk around and look for things. This place is huge and has tons of things to look at. The staff isnt so friendly the few times I have been. (I think many people are volunteers?) Prices fluctuate for example around Christmas time all cups, mugs, glasses, and the sort were 4 for $1.00. Two weeks ago each individual cup or glass was around $1.49. Im not sure how/who determines the prices, but they are set in stone. This place does have a daily discount based on a color system. For example something with a red tag could be 25% off, a blue tag item could be 50%, and a white tag item could be 75% off. The discounts alternate between the colors so you could get a really good deal if the item you want to purchase is discounted at that time.

This store has a great selection, but can be a bit pricey. Unfortunately, we were unable to purchase anything from them because they did not have a changing table in either of the restrooms. We had to leave and change the baby in the car.

Prices on some items were what you would pay at a retail store. Selection in mens clothing were poor. Sizes were mixed had to hunt to find the size I wanted.

This is actually a Thrift Giant now, so the store looks a bit different than some of the pictures other people have shared. It is a huge space that is currently being remodeled. This is one of my favorite thrift stores in Lewisville as they have fantastic sales (A couple months ago I was able to buy 2 button down mens shirts, three pairs of shoes, two pairs of jeans, a dress, and a couple shirts for $20!). They participate in the color system - so three colors will be full price, one color will be 25% off, one color will be 50% off, and occasionally a color will be $0.99. The customer service is great and their is this really sweet cashier that always makes me feel good about my treasures. Definitely recommend!

Fun to shop for second hand items. They have a good selection of clothes, housewares, and furniture. FYI: They no longer take donations at this store...drop them off at the Flower Mound donation center

I was told that this is the last day to cash in on some points that I have...spend 6 bucks and I would have a 5 dollar credit. Well come to find out I would have had to make a separate purchase to get it...not what I was told originally. The program ended today. I told the cashier that this program has strings attached and she AGREED! Prices are good overall but I dont like this deceptive practice.

This place have seriously gone down hill since CCA gave it up. It looks like a pig sty and it smells like piss. Time to find a new store :-(

Dropped off several bags of clothing. Was a bit bothered by the way the attendee threw the bags against the wall causing the clothes to fall all over the ground.I could have done that at the dumpster but I thought about all the families in need . I felt as if I were better off dropping the clothes off at one of the school collection sites atleast they wouldnt be thrown on the ground right in front of me. Then the attendant asked me not to pull so far ahead because he couldnt see me from where he was sitting I guess. and then he stated Because its so annoying. I thought to myself we all feel annoyed from time to time but its not something to say to a customer. Since the new ownership the place has changed drastically and the staff is not always nice. Side note I hope all those clothes donations are picked up before it rains.

I love the cca. They have a very good selection of stuff from books to toys to clothes to crafts and seasonal merchandise. Some areas could use better organization.

Went to Thrift Giant in Lewisville Tx on 121. Found 2 Russell jackets both brand new with tags. The cost brand new $15.47. Thrift Giant had them marked for $24.82. I asked the manager why the difference. She didnt explain why but told me shell sale me the jackets at $15.47 each. I told her thats crazy I can go to Walmart (where theyre from) and buy them for the same price. The point of a thrift store is to find a deal cheaper than the original. She told me no so I put the jackets back. All Thrift Giant is going to do is take the Walmart tags off and sale it for the $24.82. I took pics. I will post them on my social media and tag Thrift Giant.

Great resale location. They have a little bit of everything from clothes to sofas/furniture to toys and decorative items as well. Very helpful staff to helpnwith loading or answering questions.

Not a place Id drive for, but on passing after getting one of my sons from dfw its worth the stop. I live pretty far from here, but where i live the population is small, and thrift stores know what they have and theres many trying to buy. So that means they mark up. Its still cheaper than buying brand new, but its harder to make a dollar stretch. In this kind of city theres plenty of people getting rid of stuff, good stuff and junk, that a discerning eye can still find some really great deals. It also helps if you can catch them on a sale! I was there during a half off sale where everything in the store was 50% off. I felt I was paying what Im used to at big-city thrift shops, and there was way more selection than in rural areas. That being said, you still have to pay attention to the quality of what youre buying. Check those zippers and know theyre not going to bend over backwards to serve. Thats fine, i cant spend extra just so management can afford to throw enough money for butt kissing on the part of the staff. They were courteous, and no nonsense. I didnt see any cellphones in staff hands, i think the sale had sent everyone in overdrive. I was absolutely thrilled I was able to stop at the store and I found plenty that made me happy. FYI Im not super picky, I just need things that work and keep us warm in the winter. Dont care about brands, unless that brand is well known for lasting longer than everything else. Even then we dont have much. This place really helped my dollars stretch :)

Terrible for housewares, decor and furniture. Small selection and poorly organized. I’m sure you can get lucky with clothing finds here because it’s a wasteland of racks. But not well organized so be prepared to dig.
