Great service, pricing and very friendly staff. Grant took the time on several occasions to explain to me the difference between the kinds of rocks to help me which one would work for my project. Grant always has a smile on his face and is willing to go above and beyond to help his customers. The rest off the staff including the person loading the stone on my trailer were also super friendly.

Good variety of stone, soil, sand and mulch

I am SO happy that I wasted driving 30 miles each way to give these people $1,100 for rocks that they NEVER delivered!I ordered these rocks in person on Friday to be delivered on the following Monday. Monday came and went and I called for a status update after waiting at home all day for them. The employee on the phone was a horrible liar and you could clearly tell they completely forgot about the delivery. Also, he let out a long uhhhhhh, when I told him we had an ordered scheduled for that day, followed by another guy in the back busting out laughing. Are you kidding me? Then, the guy says the driver had a flat in the most non believable way possible. I said OK he had a flat, but it’s 4 PM and no one has called me. What, you just weren’t going to let me know he was coming?The guy then asked if he could deliver the following day. I was hesitant because I told him I had meetings scheduled all day long and the only time I had was 10 AM. He said he would work with my schedule and they would be there by 10 PM. Well, you guessed it, 10 AM came and went. I had to call them again and ask where my rocks were. They said the delivery driver was one stop away. Well, it’s now 11:15 as I write this review and no one knows where the driver is. I then demanded to cancel the order and to be given a refund and the guy I talked to said he wasn’t in the office so he didn’t know what was going on!Are you kidding me? This is not rocket science here. We ordered rocks to be delivered! How can you screw that up so badly? Also, there were zero apologies on their behalf. I’m so glad I paid in full just to have to dispute this with my cc company. This is the worst, most unprofessional company ever.

Great Place to buy Flagstone... NO discounts on delivery, so but we bought a pallet of 1.5 inch Flagstone, very large pieces for $670.00 delivered.. Theycharge $150.00 to deliver... No Discounts on Delivery... Overall-probably the best place in Collin County...

I had a wonderful experience with DFW Stone Supply. I am a private homeowner and needed about 1 ton of Colorado colored river rock. I searched the local area for prices, and found DFW Stone Supply had the best price for a delivered ton. I spoke with Kenny on the phone. He was extremely helpful in expediting our delivery, and coordinating other aspects of the purchase. He was polite and professional and a pleasure to deal with. He also followed up with me after the delivery.On the day of delivery, the driver Robi contacted me about an hour before delivery and arrived exactly when promised. He quickly dumped the load in the location that I specified and was on his way. I received a nice selection with good color variety and appropriate sizes.For me, in the midst of a large construction project whereby I have been interacting with numerous suppliers and contractors, this was one of the best experiences of the whole project. It was reasonably priced, delivered on time, and the service I received was first class.BTW, because I have an older, thin concrete driveway, I was curious about the size and weight of the dump truck that would be bringing the stone. I thought some of you also might also have similar questions. Therefore I am attaching a photograph of the truck during delivery. It was a good size dump truck, but the eight wheel arrangement on the back did a good job of dispersing the weight and I had no trouble with my concrete driveway.Thanks again to everybody at DFW Stone Supply - highly recommended.

We buy all of our stone from these guys in Prosper. We don’t buy tons and tons but any projects we undertake, we go here. They are all VERY polite and helpful. Went there today to grab about 10 extra medium sized flower bed border stones and they refused to charge me for them. Just great young men. Thank guys!

First time there, wasnt sure what to expect.Allowed to walk the entire grounds and saw a lot of neat inventory but had no clue on the cost or what the items cost etc.Took pictures and got info from the office so I left feeling a bit more knowledgable.

I searched like everyone else would for the proper stone for my landscaping project and then I went to a few in person to make sure I was making the eighth selection. DFW stone supply in Lewisville was by far the best and they were very helpful in the process. I will be a returning customer of theirs without a doubt and am happy to have found them. Gary was also incredible with the 10 ton delivery and was able to navigate the alleys and unload in a very helpful spot for us to work from! Thank you again.

Omg stay away!! Most positive reviews are from his friends and network!! The person whom we spoke was having heavy attitude & arrogant... “omg I am this big guy, I own this place and I will do a favor for you, but don’t ask me any questions on cash on delivery or even being there for weigh in :)” some businesses don’t go beyond few years or max a generation for same reason .Not sure whether he is wanting to do business. Insulting way of talk if you ask more questions, there are otherSuppliers in suburbs who deliver for cheaper and price match and even lower by $10 per ton

My wife and I went to DFW Stone Supply in Lewisville last Tuesday to pick out a boulder for our landscaping. Worked with Grant in our selection process. Found one quickly and Grant got us squared away for delivery the next day. My wife and I really enjoyed meeting and talking with Grant - very friendly, courteous and efficient - with a great smile. Trey delivered the boulder the next day and placed it expertly, exactly how we wanted it. Very impressed with him as well. Turns out hes Grants dad! The apple does not fall far from the tree. Highly recommend DFW Stone Supply in Lewisville. Great experience!

We visited DFW Stone Supply in Lewisville on 5/29/20. Kenny was very professional in showing us stone options. The next day we came back to purchase a ton of Oklahoma Swirl. Tray was a big help with assisting us in loading the stones into our truck. All in all a very pleasant process!

I used to buy from the prosper location, but due to multiple issues such as (not answering phone, not delivering when promised, terrible customer service when you are there, a bunch of adults sitting back on their chair texting and seem angry to have to work). I was going to take my business elsewhere until the store manager from Lewisville (Kenny) called me. He asked for a chance and knocked it out of the park. I needed stone delivered asap and he got it to me. HE answered all my questions and concerns and went above and beyond my needs. That is sales 101, something that thr Prosper location does not have. I live in Melissa and I now rather go to Lewisville just because of how I was treated.. if I was the owner of this place. I would hit the reset button on the Prosper location. Promote Kenny to oversee both locations and sit back and watch him break records.

Called about ordering 2 tons of Colorado river rock based on images from the website per the employee suggestion. They looked nice and mostly grey. Was happy to see them delivered so quickly, but unfortunately the river rocks delivered were not the same color as the images on their website. These were more of a rainbow pattern.Called to initiate a simple return/reimbursement due to the discrepancy and was told I would get a call back before the end of business— Did not get a call.The next day I called again to follow up and the same employee who helped with the initial sale told me that I could have the 2 tons of river rocks for free with my reimbursement for the inconvenience. I thought, “wow, great customer service.”But when I finally arrived at the office to get my reimbursement the same employee tried to lecture and guilt trip me for not looking at the stone in person before buying... as if it’s my fault their website image is incorrect. Also told me that I could not have the product for free and that someone would be coming to pick it all up within the next day.So now I have to waste more time to scoop 2 tons of large Colorado river rocks out of my beds and put them near the driveway since this company decided to take back the stone it gave to me for the inconvenience it caused in the first place.Wasted so much time and energy with this place. From the good reviews I’m sure they treat most other people well, but I was treated poorly and I thought I would share my experience since there’s not much else I can do about this terrible experience.Update your website with the correct names/photos of your product.

Their dump truck load was not secure and dropped a rock on my windshield. They stated they would cover cost, now stating that I have to file a claim. I have pictures. I filed insurance claim. No apology and no resolution from them. If this happens to you hold them accountable. They are careless and could cause someone a serious injury on the road. Avoid them!

Went as a homeowner with a Do It Yourself project. The manager Kenny treated me as if I was a regular first class client. He helped me find a perfect match for the stone I already had. Out on the lot, Kelly was quick to help me get the stones I wanted. All in all, it was a marvelous experience to buy $28 worth of rocks. These folks work hard to earn your business!

They should change name to country stone supply. Don’t deserve the DFW. Took 20min to load a ton. Nice set up, slow service, I could understand if they were busy. I’ll give this location one more chance maybe just bad loaders.

My first visit to the location and had a wonderful experience with the staff. Mike greeted me as soon as I got out of my car and took care of me the entire time. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The prices on the flagstone and rocks are great. My new favorite place! I will absolutely be back.

They have a great selection of stone and the best prices. A super nice guy helped me load some of my larger stones onto my pallet for me. Easy checkout and pickup process too. I’ll be back for more here soon.

We were just there and tried to get help a d information. The man in the office was busy smacking on his food and seemed disinterested in supplying any information the two times we inquired. We went down the road to another place that was customer friendly .

Excellent and helpful website via computer or phone. Just wanted to send a positive shout. I came by Friday afternoon to pickup a 1/2 of limestone flex base to level some land for a shed. It was really busy, but I got taken care of in good time, friendly guy running the place (wish I caught his name). The guy driving the loader was very helpful, I couldnt park near the bin, so he went a got it and brought it to my truck. Very happy with the consistency and quality of the base gravel and amazing value/price. Ive already recommended to a co-worker, Great job!

I ordered 5.5 tons of native gravel from Kenny at the Lewisville location and it was a great buying experience! Gary in the yard helped me estimate how much supply I needed, advised me on the best rocks to get and also on the best delivery method. I do very few landscaping projects so I really appreciated the expert advice. When it came to the delivery I was also very pleased; I had to reschedule a day before delivery was done and they were very flexible and accommodating! The delivery was made right on time and placed perfectly near the area where I wanted them placed even though the driver had to navigate the tightly fit alleyway. I highly recommend this crew for your landscaping needs, they are true professionals! Oh and the best part, my 4 year old get to sit in one of the frontloaders and had his day made for sure!

Posted Saturday hours are 8:00-2:00. Drove an hour, got here at 1:00 only to find out they were closed. Called them, and person on the phone pretty much said “We decided to close early”. Really? That’s convenient.

Excellent service and selection. I was looking for rocks to put in an aquarium. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Kelly helped me select the right type of rocks for my purpose, and cleaned them up so I could see how they would look underwater.

They have a massive selection so it is a great place to walk around and think through different options. To save a few dollars on my second batch of stone I rented a Uhaul across the street and they loaded it up for me. Great customer service!

Misrepresent their products; We ordered Decomposed Granite for xeriscape walkways and hardscaping. What they sell is absolutely NOT DG, It is mostly all yellow orange stones with less than 5% fines of -3/8”, most as large as 1”-4” (a few small boulder size) i saw they sell Oklahoma yellow cut stone I’m guessing they throw in all the broken pieces of it as well as any other misc. stone scraps they want to get rid of. The sales associate with manager standing next to him, said “just break the larger stones up with a hammer”! I guess you get what you pay for, as their price was a bit lower. Shop else ware and don’t hire a landscaper who uses this place.

Sample we saw in the store was not an accurate showing of the product. When we got home to see the delivery we were very disappointed. Called and talked to the manager, he told me there was nothing they could do, we were “stuck with it,” unless we wanted to find a way to transport all of the rock back to the store. Needless to say we don’t have equipment to return large amounts of stone. And to top it off, while he was talking to me he kept having a seperate conversation with another person at store. Very unprofessional and was not concerned at all about our unhappiness with their product.
