Best U-haul location in town. Ive rented from here twice and had a super easy, fast, and pleasant experience both times. I love an efficient rental transaction and thats what youll get here.I needed to change my reservation very last minute and they were very understanding and accommodating. There were multiple other options offered, the reservation was fixed, and I was on my way within 10 minutes.In addition to rental trucks, vans, and trailers, they also have storage units on site and even install hitches! They also have every single packing, moving, or hauling item you might possibly need. Ive moved 30+ times in my life and thought Id seen it all but they have a Solution to every single moving or hauling situation you might have- mattress and furniture bags, chair covers, bungee cords, picture frame styrofoam, and of course boxes in every shape and size and tape.I wont bother going anywhere else for my rental truck, storage, or moving needs while we live in the county.

I needed to move a couple large sofas and decided to use a 12x6 covered trailer from U-Haul instead of the 12x6 open trailer we own. The pick up and drop off went very smooth! They did a fine job of hooking up the trailer and testing all the lights. I highly recommend their services! If you have a tow vehicle the trailer options are great since you only pay by the day instead of by mileage.

My first opportunity to visit this location, I rented a trailer for a few days use. The retail side is surprisingly expansive, and the rental side is well staffed. Assistance during both the check out and check in process was excellent. Overall, a top experience.

Move here from the slums. It was cheaper no bugs no mold and its climate controlled. Best deal in town.

They were very helpful, and very kind. If you only used a quarter tank of gas dont waste another mile to go top it off at the gas station, its about same price if not a few dollars cheaper at the uhaul place, anyway everything went smooth with the 26truck,

Military member that just moved to area. Reserved a 10x20 unit to store my entire household goods as we had no place to put them. I showed up to the store to open my unit and make sure it was ready only to be told they dont have any 10x20 units... like they dont exist. Their website still allows you to reserve them though. I had to scramble last minute to change where my goods were being delivered. Staff was clueless and unhelpful.To make it worse i am now being bombarded with emails and texts to review them. I unsubscribed and they are still coming. Well uhaul, here is your review!Beware of false advertising and check to make sure they can give you what you need, dont get caught like i was!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars I schedule to have a hitch installed on my van. I dropped my vehicle off for first available appointment at 9:00 AM on July 16. They called me back at 1:00 PM that day and told me they did not have the parts available. They rescheduled me for July 24. I dropped my vehicle off at 11:00 AM (2018 Toyota Sienna) perfect working condition. They called me at 4:00 PM to pickup my vehicle. I started my car every light was on on the dash and my car would not go above 10mph. All the technician said was he didn’t go under the hood he just hooked up the wiring. I drove an hour to this location and my car was working fine when I dropped it off. They did not offer a tow or any type of refund or help. I had to pay $218 to have my car towed to a dealership to see what kind of damage they did to the wiring in my vehicle (I still don’t know what kind of out of pocket cost to fix the car). I called today to speak with a manager and was told one would not be in until 10:00 AM I called at 10:15AM only to be told he still was not available. I explained that I currently have no vehicle because of a wiring issue they caused and the girl Sam at the front desk didn’t care and just asked my number and stated the manager will call back when available. Please do not take your vehicle here. People are rude, don’t care about their customers, and charge you full price for services not completed the correct way.

The storage unit prices are better than anywhere I’ve been before. Staff is awesome. Can’t beat the customer service.

Rented a UBox for a cross-country move. Had a great experience, aside from box being delivered to new address a day late - until they were supposed to pick up the empty box. They were scheduled to come back the next day, nobody showed up. Took two phone calls (and 20+ min on hold each time) for them to finally pick it up days later. A few days later, I get a phone call a driver is on the way to pick up the box - which was already picked up. I called back, confirmed the box had been picked up, guy apologizes and says hell update my account.Now the real fun starts - I start getting letters, emails, and phone calls about a balance due for storage. I called this location 8+ times trying to resolve - got through once, was told it was taken care of (it wasnt); second time I got through, was told a manager would call back (he didnt). Tried several other times, only to be on hold for 25+ minutes, or be hung up on. I also start receiving more notices from a different location, in Maryland (where I have never been), for the same account. Also try calling them multiple times, cant ever get through. Emails to both locations and [email protected] go unanswered.Finally got through to a customer service agent yesterday, who was only able to call the Maryland location and ask them to check on the issue - manager was supposed to call back today, and never did. Finally had to call Ubox support, wait on hold for another 30 minutes, and spend an hour and half on the phone with yet another agent who finally confirmed my account had been closed and balance discharged.I had a good moving experience until this fiasco. Would not recommend Wake Forest NC or Lexington MD locations for any moving services whatsoever.

VERY accommodating! I always choose THIS location over other, smaller U-Haul franchises, that dont have the same level of service.

We made a truck rental a week in advance only for it to be canceled 3 hours before we picked it up. When I contacted the manager, they told me that they wouldn’t have what we reserved for 3 weeks. Take your business elsewhere if you’d like to have to have a moving truck at your appointment time.

It really looks top notch!My reservation was for a 2 axle tow behind utility trailer with ramp. Order #: 23076766I order the night before online with selected pickup time 1300 the next day. After changing my plans a little, I decided to arrive when the store opened at 0800 and see if it was available early.I checked in with the attendant and he proceeded to tell me (paraphrasing but hitting the highlights) I dont know how you even reserved this, it wont be available all weekend. I showed the reservation and informed that I reserved online. I also showed the $50 reservation guarantee.Well well make something work he informed me.I asked if a car hauler was available and he rudely replied, seriously? were going to play these semantics at 8am this morning? and proceeded to yell some other gibberish at me. At this time I left the store, and returned a couple minutes later to ensure that my reservation was cancelled. (it was)After checking my credit card statements, the reservation was billed!!!Lessons learned:Dude at the store is rude. Seriously, Uhaul messed up the order, try everything you can to make SOMETHING work.$50 reservation guarantee is bunkDont reserve online, there is some disconnectCheck your credit card statements

I dropped off at this location after hours and had an issue with a faulty gas gauge when trying to replenish the gas in my truck before returning it. The manager, Brian, give me a lot of information that should have been provided to me upon picking up the truck which will be very useful in the future when using U-Haul. He also reimbursed me for all the money I spent in gas trying to deal with the faulty needle gauge, instead of passing my issue off to the pick up location who let me rent the faulty truck. The customer service is excellent here at this location and I will be sure to use them for any future U-Haul rentals!

Wow! Uhaul has come a long way since my moving days in the Navy. Needed a trailer for a quick job. I made my reservation online and it was a very quick in and out; both pickup and return. No fuss, no muss and no up-sale attempt at the counter. They helped with hookup and detach and I was on my way in no time. Thanks!

Moved my reservation from Lexington Park to Charlotte Hall and their confirmation number has been busy for the twenty five attempts Ive made to call and cancel.

Slowest place ive ever been in my life. Ive been here 3 times because its right down the road from my house and its a disaster even with a reservation. Its terrible and the employees dont act like they care about your time and the morale of the store is depressing to say the least.

In general I’m anti-5 Star but had to relent, Bryan the GM and staff were amazing. Thanks for the affordable and difficult hitch installation. We’ll be back.

Vague instructions for after hours drop off left us wondering if we were going to get charged extra. Big parking lot, but not so big of a selection of vehicles from what I could see.
