I have always been impressed with the level of service at Honda of Columbia. They are honest about the needs of your car. They go out of their way to let you know of things that might need to be repaired at future visits and give you a timeline as to when that might happen. They dont add on unnecessary charges either. Their service reps are knowledgeable, professional and respectful. I recommend them to all my family and friends.
Have been using Honda of Columbia for the past 11 years. Very pleased with their service department. Representative recognizes me and calls me by name upon arrival. Service reps are friendly and helpful. I asked them to check my cabin air filter because I thought that it would need replacing, but they said that it was fine and didnt do the job that I didnt need. Nice to know that there are still honest mechanics out there! Highly recommended.
Had a horrible experience at another Honda locally so I basically resigned myself to never use a dealer again. But when my 11-year-old car started acting up my spouse convinced me to come here. I had a hard time making an appointment as the website would not work and it took awhile to get through on the phone but the service department was very knowledgeable, patient in explaining everything, and willing to walk me through what was necessary vs. what could wait or not really be needed.
Kayla was friendly and gave excellent customer service when I was in to have my car serviced. The wait time was less than I was originally told it would be, too. Reasonable pricing. Great experience all the way around!

He explained how to slit the cost for parts now, and labor when installed. He applied any discounts he could. He was straight forward in explaining the possible delay in receiving parts because of Covid-19. I feel I received the best service I could expect.
Slow service appointments like every dealership ever. At least it is comfy place to wait and there are cars to look at. I do love my accord!!It does get a little old when they try to upsell extras on the service: no I dont want tires that cost way more than at good year. No I dont want whatever you are trying to sell. Just do the service appointment.

I have been going to this location for years! We have previously purchased two vehicles from them and always had great customer service. Unfortunately they have lost me as a customer. I called about purchasing a used 2015 Chevy Tahoe. I spoke to the salesperson Adrian on Monday 6/21/21. He informed me that the vehicle was just brought in on Saturday as a trade it. He told me that they took it to the local Chevy dealer to be serviced but he would call me as soon as it came back. I informed him I was very interested in buying this particular vehicle. I never heard back so I decided to call Thursday to see if they got it back. I was then informed by Adrian that someone already put a $500 deposit down on the vehicle and it is not available anymore. Which I was very upset about because I was never asked if I would like to put a deposit down. I then asked to speak to a manager. He was not available so I left a message. When Robert called me back he told me that one of their employees put a $500 deposit down on the vehicle. He asked me if I would like for them to put my name down to be second in line if it fell through. At this point I told him no. When I spoke to them Monday I was first in line. I feel the same customer service should be given to your CUSTOMERS as your employees. If Adrian would have asked me to put a deposit down to reserve the vehicle I would have. I’m so upset but I will just take my money somewhere else.
As I wait to hear back from the service dept., I thought Id provide some feedback. I dropped my Passport off this morning for an oil change. Service advisor called and left a message that they were done but they had some recommendations. I called back and had to leave a message. I havent heard back and Im scheduled to get my car at lunch. I have called at least five more times and am unable to get a live person on the phone. I finally called the main number and asked the receptionist to get me to a live person. She promptly transferred me back to voice-mail. This is completely unacceptable. When a shop has your vehicle, tells you it may need something done, you are needing to pick it up, and you cant get anyone to talk to...thats a problem. At this point, the wheels could be falling off, but I wont be getting it fixed there. And Ill certainly think twice about buying a car there again too. Poor service!

The most HONEST service department I have ever come across! Have always loved this place, and my most recent experience ensured I will never go anyplace else! I was told by another shop that I needed some expensive work done. Brought it in to my trusted Honda service center, and after taking things apart, they discovered I could wait another 20k-40k miles. Its was good experience with Jared Goodman he kept me informed of what was going on with my vehicle but when I arrived told to pick my car up it had been park with the windows down left open to the public then go inside to pick up my key Murl Hope informed I couldnt pick my vehicle up till the bill was paid in full which my dealership had already paid for the service provided and that he didnt just give keys out without payment when I asked why my windows were left down I was ignored by this employee then blamed Jared for not attaching a receipt to my paper work when I asked for a manager I was told no one was available to talk to and I asked his name so I could inform you all the way he treated me me he flipped his card at me and said here DO WHAT YOU WILL WITH IT....This is by far the worst customer service Ive ever received and to think my dealership paid almost a $1000 and have more work scheduled for my car there and I was treated like this as well as my car I mean just horrible and concerned how I might be treated the next time

The Service Associates at Honda Cars of Columbia are excellent. Even though my service was an Express Service, it exceeded my expectations! My Service Advisor, David Morrow, indicated to me the service would take about an hour & 20 minutes..possibly longer-it was Saturday & they were extremely busy! My scheduled time was 10:45 (arrived around 10:30ish) and was out of there by 11:30..exceeded my expectations!! David also explained what the service was, when he initially greeted me, and explained in detail my invoice. I’ve been a loyal customer of Honda Cars of Columbia for almost 30 years! I’d recommend them to anyone!! Thank you for a job well done!!

Starting with Austin Barlow, my Service Advisor, I have to say is very knowledgeable and advised me like a member of my family. He described in detail what services and parts would be required. There was no push, but a reassuring of my service and cost. Austin followed up before my appointment and after. I would highly recommend Honda of Columbia to anyone!
Honda of columbia normally has good service. Kelly and Preston did a great job to assist me. It was not their fault. That said, when you schedule an appointment and are told a time of completion, you schedule your day around that info. I was told replacing 4 tires and an alignment would take 4-5 hours. I dropped my car off at 7:45 AM. I showed up at 2:00 and it was not complete. I went back to work. I called at 4:00. My car was still not ready. I was dropped off at 4:20. I sat there until 5:58. Completely unacceptable. I was told they were backed up. If they could not complete the work in a reasonable amount of time, then they should have simply called and rescheduled the appointment. Or let me know when I dropped it off they it would not be ready until 6:00 PM. They are usually on point but they dropped the ball yesterday.
I’ve always been coming to this dealership due to service department going above and beyond on when I experienced an unfortunately event and Murl, Preston and the team was able to promptly assisted me in a small window I had before going out of town. Definitely blessed to know they were there to help out.
My service advisor did a very good job of communicating and discussing my service options. He also checked the shared Honda dealer service records from another dealer to be sure I didnt get any services that I didnt need. The only reason I gave the visit a 4 star instead of 5 is that the mechanics who changed my tires forgot to reset the tire pressure notifier, so when I drove off the property, the alert popped up, and I had to drive back.
My 2006 Pilot was parked waiting for a repair when a delivery truck hit it doing damage to 3/4 of the drivers side. My car had been parked beside a parking space which obviously increased its chances of being hit. I bought it new from them when they were on Greystone Blvd. as well as my wifes 2016 Pilot. Even though the truck that damaged it was not the dealerships I am disappointed that they did nothing for me at all. No offer of help to repair my vehicle, no offer of assistance as I do not have a driveable car, no gesture of good will at all. Nothing. I will not even have my oil changed on my wifes car there now. Maybe Im old fashioned but if your good customers experience a problem at your dealership then you do something for them.

There service is best in Columbia. The service charge is relatively higher than other auto repairing shop. But if you want to get reliable service, definitely it is highly recommended.

Just bought a vehicle there. Hands down best car buying experience we have ever had. Our salesman was Fritz. He was fantastic. He was so kind and accommodating and not at all pushy. We will definitely be doing business there in the future!
We bought a 2014 minivan it was dirty inside when we took it for a test drive. Told the sales person we will take it. Since we were paying the full amount in cash we asked if we could get a better deal, they said no. Sales person said to come back in a couple house so they could detail the van and they said they would fill it up with gas. They didnt fill it up and when we got home to give it a good once over we found French fries in the seats, cobwebs under the seats and dirt in areas where they thought we wouldnt check. The sales person also said that XM radio was free, we didnt believe him and I have a bill to prove it. We love the van but doubt that we would ever go back.

I had an amazing experience purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I called to inquire about a vehicle I saw online and was lucky enough for Matt to answer the phone. He was extremely professional and was patient in answering all of my questions. When I asked if the vehicle had any imperfections as it was a used car he walked out to the vehicle and was honest about a couple of small imperfections. I then drove the hour it took me to get to the dealership and Matt was there to greet me and had the keys ready to show me the vehicle. Everything was just as he told me over the phone which I appreciate as I hate unpleasant surprises. I liked what I saw and within 30 minutes of me arriving Matt had me a very fare trade in offer and for my current vehicle and an out the door price that was very reasonable. I highly recommend this dealership and I would recommend Matt to anyone. I will definitely be back when I have a need for a newer car.
I really always enjoy having my Honda serviced everytime I come to Honda Of Columbia. They do good work for something as simple as getting my regular oil and mantinance done every three months.
Honda of Columbia did a great job performing a timing belt service on my Honda Odyssey. Murl Hope was my advisor and he was very helpful and considerate too. Despite the crazy busy pace of their service department, they always do a fine job helping me when I need them.
Great management! I had a minor issue with one of the salesman in the GM called me if it wasnt the same day originally it was the very next morning and honestly wanted to hear what happened. When I shared with him he also shared that he had already listened to the voice recording and that the salesman was completely in the wrong and he apologized and wanted to know what he could do to make it up to me. Bottom line he was so polite and professional and sincere that I took my original review down. He said that he would be more than willing to make it right when I was ready to purchase a vehicle. Naturally I was skeptical as the nature of sales is to say whatever it takes to make a sale and it is hard to find someone with integrity. Fast forward a little while later when we were ready to make the purchase, I called and spoke with Mr. Burns and he not only remembered speaking with me but also still had written down what we had discussed. He even went so far above and beyond expectation as to call me back on his vacation and was still more than willing to honor what he had originally said. This speaks volumes and this is a rare quality in a car dealership and I could not more highly recommend them based on this interaction!

Im not a big fan of car dealerships. I dont particularly enjoy high pressure. Honda of Columbia in Lexington however, was a game-changer. First I met sales consultant David. He treated my elderly mother with respect and gave her a good deal on a Civic. My mother drove away happy. Sales consultant Adrian was incredibly hospitable today as I was looking to replace my old Subaru. Never, ever did I experience unnecessary pressure. Adrian also was able to answer all questions about all models I inquired about. I will be back next week to purchase an HRV if we can work out a deal. If youre on the fence as to what to purchase, you owe it to yourself to visit Honda of Columbia. You will thank me.So here I am 2 months later. I bought a beautiful HRV. Thank you Honda of Columbia. Sold both cars we had an appointment to see, even after we called to make sure and sales person confirmed availability. Gone when we got there. Our sales person just said sorry no referral to the manager. Front desk staff not welcoming. Definately, go to Steve Padgetts Honda of Lake Murray that is real customer service. Be sure to ask for Ivee you wont be sorry!
Jared G. in the service department hit it out of the park for us on the weekend. Did a major repair for us with no advanced notice. Our Odyssey broke down on a Friday night. We dropped it off at 9 PM n dropped the keys in the lock box. He was on it before 7:30 AM the next morning and had it ready for us by lunch. Highly recommend.
Their staff is very accommodating and patient when you have a lot of questions like I did. If you have a problem with your Honda, just come here and they will straighten it out.
Great job as usual. Lots of room to social distance at sanitized tables or areas.Was there for a small recall and regular service. They quoted me an hour and a half but we’re done in less than an hour.
Always kind, polite, and consistent when telling me which repairs are needed immediately...and which ones can wait a little while longer. I highly recommend using this dealership!

I purchased my 2014 Honda Ridgeline from Honda Cars of Columbia. I have been taking my truck to be serviced there every since. Ive always been satisfied with the treatment from the service advisors.They explain everything to you in detail if theres a problem with your vehicle. I just recently had a driveshaft replaced and they worked with the insurance company and Im completely satisfied. I trust the work that they do thats why I always take my truck to them. Today I brought my car in at 7am had a computer failure showing up on my dash board on my 2018 Honda Accord on which I purchase from them. Waited 4 hours without diagnostic. A guy came to update me at 10 not kowing what was exactly wrong or how long it would be . Honda did not have a loaner or could tell me specifically if Rgey needed to keep my car all day. I called after the 4 hours and of course my technician is on lunch. Oh it also won’t be cover under warranty, ever since I purchase this car is has been nothing but problems with the smart system!
Preston took care of all of my issues in a very timely manor. Prices are actually cheaper than non- dealership service centers. Highly recommend!!

Booked appointment for oil change, when I arrived they said it will be 2-3 hours wait if i want to wait or not. I said i have to go back to work but if the wait is that long why dont they say that when booking the appointment. The lady had an attitude about it as well. Wont be returning here for sure

I would do zero stars if possible. I’ve already complained directly to the company, but they have chosen not to respond at all.On February 11th, I got my car serviced through Honda and they gave a GREEN CHECK on my transmission fluid. (Yellow would be needs work soon, red would be needing work immediately.) Yet here we are just a couple weeks later and my transmission fluid is black and filthy. They obviously just want your money and don’t care to inform you of how your car is really functioning.
