Excellent service, down-to-earth advice, not pushy at all, and a large, clean store with good selection. They had the kayak I was looking for, helped with advice on paddles, helped me load it all up, and Shane even gave advice on where to go in the area to get on the water. Great experience!

Rented a paddle board for two days and had a great experience with the store and store staff. It made our weekend even more fun at high Rock lake. Great selection of outdoor supplies and gear!

My husband and I shop there today 9-20-2021 around 3:00pm. Husband was going to buy a kayak was told he could get a veterans discount. Then was told he couldnt. Im thinking the person name was Shane Dublin. Taylor the cashier said Shane said no to (Vietnam) veteran discount. Because of the ordering process. That they only got five kayaks in . Something about not getting any orders in 2022. My husband really wanted the kayak. Was upset about not being able to get his veteran discount. We live Sanford,NC this was a long drive for us. They gave us a veterans discount on another item. YakAttack through hull wiring kit. So why were not given a veteran discount on the kayak? Taylor the cashier missed the sale. Really hope that you will reconsider giving us a veteran discount. Thank you.

Sales people are very nice. Good array of fishing supplies, some camping gear, personal watercraft, clothing, shoes, bass boats and so much more! Fun little stop for sure!In addition they service boats. I cant speak to that since Ive never used them but they always seem busy which is a good sign.

Not even sure where to begin but Im extremely disappointed in the level of service at this Mercury certified service center.I originally dropped my boat off in the beginning of April and now, 4-months later I am still waiting on additional fixes.The initial finding was a misdiagnoses which ended in the need of a complete powerhead replacement-- a hefty 5-figure fix. My first time getting the boat back and it was leaking oil and experiencing power loss, not the outcome youd expect after having the largest bill the service center has ever seen-- a quote that was made jokingly while I was paying for it...Without getting into much detail, the boat has been back and forth to the shop several times since initially getting it back, each time still experiencing issues. I will give them credit, each time the boat has been returned, the service tech made it a priority of his but it is still disappointing to continue this back and forth-- especially when the only time I get an update or hear from them is when I reach out. If your boat is here for servicing, I highly recommend calling frequently otherwise it seems like there is no priority.I wish I could write a better review but my experience has sucked. For the most part the people there are friendly, the store/shop is nice and has great selection but I have been far from satisfied with the level of service I have experienced.I welcome any outreach to discuss and remediate...

They have great selection of boats, kayaks and accessories. I asked for used inventory but they did not have a lot. Thats why the three stars, other than that great place

What a great store! Full of inventory even in Covid times. Knowledgeable staff that are both kind and courteous. If they don’t have it, you probably don’t need it. The fishing tackle selection was designed by someone who obviously knows a lot about local bass fishing. Literally a one stop shop! If you’re in Lexington North Carolina, don’t miss it.

Great selection of quality products with a knowledgeable and freindly staff. Youll pay a little more than you would on line or in a big box store, but the ability to get what you need when you need it, especially on the weekends is worth it.

Interesting place to buy fishing, kayaking, and boating. Like a mall, but better.

First visit was about 2-3 weeks ago. My husband and I came in to look at their boats. A nice older lady approached us and asked us if we needed any help. We spoke with her about what we were looking for. She gave us the info needed. We left. Came back a second time to price the boat we wanted. An older gentleman built the boat online for us and gave us our quote. We left. Went back yesterday to make some adjustments to the quote and place the order. We were approached by an unknowledgeable older gentleman. We told him what we were there for. He went and asked somebody about our quote. They said they couldn’t find it. He mentioned it could be in somebody’s filing cabinet drawer that wouldn’t return until Sunday. He knew we wanted to place an order, yet turned us away instead of getting somebody to help us. We went to Anglers Choice Marine today and ordered our $106,000 multi species boat (Ranger) instead of the Vexus we were going to order here. Still kept our money local as we like supporting local businesses. This company needs to work on their customer service skills. We also saw a lot of overpriced miscellaneous inventory while browsing.

Service is good if your have deep pockets, Poor folks need to stay out this store....

This place is similar to a small bass pro shop. I was not expecting the amout of fishing tackle & clothing in this store. I thought it was just a boat store, but they have way more than just boats.

Ive been there several times with friends and not one time have weve bought anything because your lures are out of stock and the other ones was over priced. Your fishing stuff is very limited. Only thing Ive bought there is a fishing rod holder for the kayak which you was the only place that had that model and it works great. You just need more variety of fishing stuff.

Descent store for most of your boating needs. They have a very good selection of pontoons but have not been able to secure a jet ski manufacturer. The sales lady that came to see if she could help was very friendly and knowledgeable. We purchased some Star-Brite cleaner at a good price. Some of the staff could be a little more friendly. You should always thank your customers!!! We will check them back out when we decide to purchase another pontoon.

Nice store, but mainly a boat store. They have a limited amount of pricey fishing and camping gear, but overall unimpressed given its advertising as an outdoor store. Sad as they have ample space to cover all your outdoor needs.

The place to buy a Hobie Kayak around here. Shopped around and found this place to be the most knowledgeable and they had the best selection. Caught them at the right time and bought a new Mirage Compass during their end of the model year sale, but not before checking prices on my phone where I found the same exact model at another local store that was a demo unit and $200 more.

Wasnt impressed and very pricey.

Pretty high on prices but in a convenient location so its worth the trade off.

Awesome store! Had a lot of different products that you dont see in the big outdoor stores. All of the Employees were very pleasant. Trevor helped us out with looking at kayaks. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer questions, chat about his experiences and genuinely help us out, great salesmen. Will definitely be back!

Some prices are really high but I found kayak paddles for the same price as Amazon. That was a pleasant surprise so I bought 2.

Awesome addition to high rock lake. . Besides boats kayaks and paddle boards they have a wonderful selection of camping gear, water wear, and southern style shirts and outerwear. Some great shoe and sunglass selections. But best of all it has a coffee shop inside. We needed a coffee shop shop on the side of the lake. And great homemade pastries from a local lady here in town. Stopped in the other day for the first time. I can say I was amazed by this places presentation and overly friendly staff. When it comes to prices the only thing I know is I ordered a wakeboard from Evo.com the night before and I wish I would have waited. Rock had the same board and binding package for about $10 cheaper. I couldnt believe that bc Evo was the cheapest place I could find it online. Its easy to say will definitely be getting more of my money.

Nice place. Very clean; staff very friendly. Most of their floorspace is for boats, but they have a nice selection of outdoor wear, fishing gear, and ladies apparel (Simply Southern, etc).

Very unsatisfied! Took my boat in to have the tilt/trim repaired. After I picked it up and went to the lake I realized the cowling on my suzuki was not latched down at all. Zero of the three. I couldnt get it to latch so I called and the service guy said the seal was probably put on backwards and then just forgotten about because they get pulled off what theyre working on so often. I fixed it. After taking the boat out three times and it taking on an unbelievable amount of water each time, I realized they had not sealed the bolt holes after pulling the motor. I took it back and they did the repairs at no cost. No were sorry for the inconvenience or we messed up or anything other than one lady in a phone conversation before I took it back. To me it was bad service and bad customer service.

I called for service of my 22 year old boat that everyone else practically ignored me to service. First call, service said sure, we can get that part and fix that control console, would you like us to order it for you? Ordered, came in, and fixed it in a week. Im astounded. And visiting there makes the big box store look like idiots, these folks are really knowledgeable, helpful and nice and they treat you like they want you to come back. Its a fresh experience in todays retail environment. The variety of product offerings is beyond anything Ive seen with high quality thats sometimes hard to find. Its the first time Ive ever seen Mercury, Evinrude, Suzuki, and Yamaha offered and serviced under the same roof. And the amount of quality skis, watersports equipment and accessories is a fresh surprise, were lucky to have such a nice facility here. Glad to see these guys and hope they do well!

Their service dept is terrible. Three trips, over $1500 spent and the boat still wont run. Would NOT recommend!!

Not very helpful. Called about a part. One person said yes they have it and one said no they don’t. Drove from Thomasville and they would not have someone take 2 seconds to all from the back to help me be sure I was getting the correct part. Will not be back.

I’ve taken my boat there 3 times went to have Minn Kota Fortrex trolling motor installed.went to put a circuit breaker in my electrical system and another time for general service and repair and each time my boat was ready within a day or two and everything that’s been done has been professional and precise!Everyone there is very friendly and conscientious about helping you get your boat the way you want it!They are awesome you can’t go wrong with Rock Outdoors their inventory is just wonderful I wish I could get one of their new boats.

Mostly boats here. Very little of anything else. Guess if you want a boat it is a good place, not sure about prices of the boats.
