I love the new expanded location. Huge selection of every craft item you could want or need. The store is super clean and bright. A well organized layout is important to me and this spot checks that box.

It is so nice and clean and the people there were very kind. I was impressed and thankful with how clean they kept everything especially with covid going on I was very thankful that is important to them. Thank you guys so much for all the hard work you do God Bless!💙

Always spend more money than I mean to buy they have such a great selection of everything! My current passion is crocheting and they have a wonderful assortment of colors, textures, and size skeins of yarn. So many to choose from. Working on baby booties right now to match the blanket.

I love shopping here its easy to get carried away and spend a lot of money on craft projects that you intend to make LOL.

I used curbside delivery and LOVE IT!Staff member confirmed identity, was courteous. Wait was just a couple of minutes. My order was correct.I did cancel an online order because shipping cost was double the cost of the item.

Its okay but not what I expected. Its like they are trying to focus on to Manny things instead of being good at one. Its like a mini hobby lobby with sewing machines instead of a craft store.

Super large building with a ton of options! It was way more crowded than I would have liked, so I likely wont be going back anytime soon, but it was still a great store. I loved all the fabric options, the custom corner, the consultants, the huge yarn wall... it was great!

Large store exceptionally clean practices including alcohol and paper towels to wipe handles is carts. Checkout rep cleaned the counter and terminal after previous customer used. Great selection of crafts and sewing items. Including WeRUs, stamps, Cricut items. Nice selection of fabrics.

LOVE this store!!! So much bigger and brighter than the other location.The staff is ALWAYS extremely helpful. And I love the new procedure for getting material cut!! I just recently visited other locations in Indy and Cincy and this store is far superior!!!(Love knowing quite a few employees by sight.) Keep up the good work!!!

I remember going to JoAnn’s with my mom when I was young. I didn’t see then. Well with 2020 being what it was I started. I went to JoAnn’s for a couple things and HOLY MOLY it is not the JoAnn’s I remember. This place is beautifully cleaned and laid out floor plan. They aren’t just for your sewing needs, but other crafts as well as home decor. If you haven’t been lately check out this new location and peruse the aisles. You never know what fun you may find!

Joanns is a huge fabric store full of anything fabric, ribbon, or twine you could need. They, also, carry assorted sewing and cricut machines along with all the stencil supplies you could carry. For anyone into sewing or doing anything with stencils, this is the perfect place for you.

This is the kind of place i could spend hours in. If I could change something, though, I would add a much larger selection of fabrics. Lexington would be well-served by fabric store with a good selection.Thats not to say that Jo-Anns sells sewing goods only. It has a wide array of items for crafters. Many of them would be fun for children to work on should the world situation require them to stay inside at length.The store is well-organized with good lighting. Service has never been a problem, although there is sometimes a long line waiting for fabric to be cut from a boltAll in all, I recommend this store.

Big, spacious, more of the same wonderful stuff plus more of new wonderful stuff. I went in for a specific embroidery marking pen but found so much more than I expected. I love the new store and better location yet still in the same shopping center!

The employees here are the rudest people Ive ever been given the displeasure of speaking to. Ive been trying to receive an order for the past week, and everytime I call and ask for assistance in the status of my order Im quickly dismissed with no help. I was told by a man over the phone when trying to get help: I dont have time to deal with this, and Ive got 5 other things to do right now. What great service. This isnt even the only time this has happened.

They have increased greatly their inventory of fabric. Great choices, good social distancing, good service.

Its a fine store, I dont really have any major issues with it. But the employees seem to be alot friendlier to women than they do men. Its not really an issue but its kind of hard to not notice when 6 ladies in front of me get a warm welcome and a hello and I just get an empty stare. It doesnt really bother me a whole lot but its something i notice on a majority of my visits. I realise Im not your average customer, but the experience feels disingenuous when Im not instore with my wife.

Love having a one stop shop for crafting and sewing needs. There are coupons available online, or in the app, plus the sales clerks at the register will keep some to use during sales. Loved the organization and was able to find things easily. Liked the fabric cutting stations and being able to put my name in a queue and wait to be called - lessened my confusion and anxiety. I did go close to when they were brand new so it was extremely busy, but not sure how busy they stay. I live in Berea and will specifically drive to Lexington just to shop here.

I was at first impressed by the new location until I asked for help finding some alcohol ink. The website said there were 4 in stock, but there wasnt any on the shelf. I just drove from out of town to pick this up. I had tried to purchase it online for pick up the night before, but the website kept giving me an error. The associate in frames didnt care and wouldnt even go check for it in the back, just whined at me that it wasnt their fault. They were not assisting anyone else. I will stick to other craft stores from now on!

Ordered online and there was a mix up with my order, when I called to ask about it a woman named Michelle helped me, she was so nice and accommodating and did everything in her power to help me and get it sorted out. She was amazing!

What a fun place to browse around in.... even if you are not talented/gifted or crafty. Great sales on everything. Home decor/seasonal items/great artificial flower selection. Makes you want to sew something.. even though I wont.

The new store is huge and well lit. As it is grand opening weekend, there was excitement in the air. Although the crowd was large, the store was well staffed. We were able to get assistance on the sales floor and the checkout line ran quickly.

For a first time shopper, this store left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I came in the store with my father for some upholstery fabric. Being a FIRST TIME SHOPPER, I did not know that I was supposed to bring the fabric to the cutting stand to be cut. So here I am standing at the front counter with only one person in front of me for about 10+ minutes because the customer in front of me was an employee and wanted to chit chat with the cashier. I waited patiently. When her purchase was complete, she started to walk off only to turn around to start to ask the other employee what time she was due in to work the next day. No big deal, but where is the motto customers come first. That is how it is at my store. And it does not end there. Once the cashier finally paged for my assistance, another employee met me by the fabric I wanted only to say (in a rude, CONDESCENDING manner) Well if you would have brought the fabric to me I would have cut it for you. Well since Im here Ill carry it to the table for you. When we got to the table, my Dad just mentioned how the previous cut was uneven. Then she proceeds to say in an even more rude and condescending manner, Yeah I know that, but Im not even starting from that point. Im giving you some leeway. Then pauses. In other words Im not charging you for this portion. Like we where stupid. When we went to the front counter, my Dad stood for another 5-7 minutes waiting for someone to just come and check him out. I seen at least 4 people on the clock. Whyd it take that long for someone to just come and ring up some fabric?

Its hit or miss if you get a friendly person to cut your fabric. My last visit to the store, there was not a soul in line to have fabric cut. One lady was at the cutting counter and continued to avoid me. 2 other ladies were standing and talking. Finally one of them ask the lady at the counter to help me. She acted like it was a chore to wait on me. The people checking you out are about the same.

I went there today for the first time. My aunt had called earlier and had them hold some material for me. When I went to check out the cashier was incredibly nice. She was very thorough and courteous. She had to order something from the Louisville store for me. She definitely needs some recognition for being a great employee.-Erica Perkins

Lots of materials, fabrics, accessories, patterns, etc. Staff friendly, helpful with questions on materials/methods/etc. Actually have so many items available that it can prompt sensory overload! Had a hard time concentrating on what I went to purchase because I kept seeing future projects. Prices seemed reasonable. Found everything needed for granddaughters prom dress. Will be going back again.

Fabric was very picked over for cotton prints. Lots of fleece. Very clean.

The new location is great! Bright store, large selection of yarn. Like the whole back wall is yarn, plus a few aisles as well! Friendly service. Previous location was not good. New one makes it the best craft store in town that Im aware of. Wish the books were organized a bit better.

I recently had to costume 70 kids in a theater production and JoAnns was key to my mental health. They have a great app with a discount coupon and work well with the tax exempt status of schools. The staff is helpful, kind and very sweet. They also have an amazing collection of cloths for a reasonable price especially considering the coupons.Great place!!

The fabric selection here is very poor. Most of the store is dedicated to crafts and equipment now.

If youre a crafter then this place is the place to be. They dont have as much as Michaels or Hobby Lobby, but its convenient. Theyre getting a bigger location in the same plaza, so maybe theyll have more materials for all types of arts and crafts.Ive purchased acrylic paints from here that are good quality, as well as camel-hair paint brushes.

Nice people who work here but they always seem to need more help. Always a line to get fabric cut and then a line to check out. Otherwise a nice place to shop.

Got what I needed and the staff was very helpful.

Ordered online because of poor selection in store, and almost half of my online order was canceled. Now Im unable to complete the project with the part of the order that did ship. Will find somewhere else for sewing supplies.

Found what I needed easily buy the check out was slow. Only had one person working register no one else in sight plus she was having to answer phone while checking people out. Think should have more check out help.
