I loved this little store. Good prices and cute things. They even had snacks and a selfie booth sat up for Mother’s Day.

I absolutely love the Olde Homestead. I have been shopping here for years and they have been my husbands surprise go-to shop for so many special occasions. They have all my favorite bracelets and Kate Spade office accessories as well so much more. The store associates are always smiling and friendly!! And I also want to thank them so much for their wonderful and generous donations to Lexington Youth Theatres silent auction. Thank you to all you wonderful ladies!!!

Its been 3 years now since I retired from teaching school. I wanted something totally different for my next job. After a lot of thought and prayers I found myself filling out an application at The Olde Homestead. I was new to retail, but excited to learn about the business. I have to say that my experience for the last 2 1/2 years has been a very happy one. I love going to work everyday. The ladies I work with are so sweet and fun. They have taught me so much. I also love our loyal customers as well as those just passing through. We are a family. I am blessed.

This is one of my favorite shops in downtown Lexington. Great selection of Pandora charms, bracelets and rings. The Christmas charms make you want to buy every one of them! Gorgeous Alex and Anni bracelets, especially the winter collection. Cute Southern Charm shirts, the snowman is my favorite. Vera Bradley bags of every color. The Wolf jewelry boxes are great for storing all the beautiful trinkets you purchase from The Olde Homestead. Go browse around, you wont be disappointed. And if you can walk out without buying something then you are stronger than I am!

This store is absolutely amazing. I have shopped here every since I was a little girl. The women that work in this store are so fantastic and helpful. They come to know their customers and their families and helped my family through the loss of my mother. I will miss this store so much when I leave for college. Good thing I plan on coming back to visit.

I always enjoy shopping local and supporting all of the small town businesses in Lexington, but I am sad to see that some of the stores are starting to compete with others. It saddens me to see that your store is stealing the ideas of the other stores around you. Instead of supporting the other businesses and owners, you are tearing them down. I doubt you would want them to do the same to you. I use to love to go in to your business and shop, but seeing that you are willing to steal and tear other businesses down, I will never step foot back in your store.

Extremely rude with poor customer service for paying clientele. Will never go back. There are many places nearby that offer the same merchandise with a more pleasant shopping experience.

I have been a customer of The Olde Homestead for quite a few years. I have always appreciated how they always speak to me & some of them know me by name. I am always welcomed when I enter & they make me feel like family. This store is very community oriented as I have witnessed several donations to organizations/charities that I am a part of. I have always received good customer service - whether I am buying or exchanging (which I have had to do several times recently with gifts) - its always easy. This store can even reprint your receipt if you lose it (they have all your info) - this makes it easier for returns. They have some of the best gift & jewelry brands and I love shopping here. The thing I love the most are the girls that work here. They are all just so nice & always smiling. I am glad we have stores like this in my home county. Teresa is a favorite & I think the other girl is Donna that helps me with Alex and Ani.

First time visiting with my wife, the service was phenomenal. Every business could take lessons from these guys on how to treat customers. She was so happy with her Pandora and Kendra Scott.

The ladies who work at The Olde Homestead are very friendly. They have a great selection of jewelry. On the rare occasions that I have had an issue with an item, they have been able to quickly resolve it. Their refund/exchange policy is better than most small retailers and is VERY clearly explained on each receipt. I love this store and highly recommend it!

I absolutely love this store ! This place is a one store stop & shop and the ladies are so nice and helpful. If you are looking for a gift for someone special, this is the place to shop. They carry a lot of trendy merchandise and are always getting new items from named suppliers.

This was an immaculate store! The associates were very friendly and helped us during our trip here. They have some great brands, like Alex and Ani, Pandora, and Simply Southern! They have a little bit of everything for everybody! They carry wallets, purses, clothes, kitchen and home accessories, and plenty of gifty items as well! It is definitely worth a stop!

Bought an Alex and Ani bracelet there and 3 days later it broke, so I went to return it to the store and they would not let me return it, they had to ship it off to the company and said it would take 6 to 8 weeks. So I waited 6 weeks and I called back up there, and when I went to go get it, *they had taken my original receipt to send to the company as proof of purchase and write down all my information on the receipt*; however when they ask me for my receipt for proof of purchase I explained to the lady that she took it from me when she took my bracelet to send to the company. She stated that they wouldnt have done that and thats not their policy, and that because I didnt have the receipt for proof of purchase I could not get my bracelet back nor would they order me the one ton replace it, so the only thing I walked out of there with was a store credit. I havent been back since.

Edited my 1 star review from below:Manager called me back a few weeks later and apologized for how she handled things and offered me cash back.Hey, I am not one to give bad feedback and I was reluctant to post this but wanted to make others aware. I purchased some charms and a necklace this past week and the cashier accidentally charged me wrong for the necklace. I caught it after she swipped my card. She called over the manager to made the adjustment. I assumed she was refunding my card since she acknowledged the error as well. After a few mins, she gave me a store credit and said that was their refund policy! I asked why I couldnt get my money back since I just made the purchase and she said that was their policy. Confused, I said ok politely, and left but was still bothered. That is not fair! I called back up there the next day to get a second opinion and to make sure that the manager knew I had just purchased the item and was NOT returning it. As I never even held the item since placing it on the counter. She said she was aware, but that was their policy. I mentioned, that it was not fair to the customer to make them pay more for their mistake and what if it had been an even larger amount that they accidentally overcharged? Its simply not fair to make the customer spend money in your store because of overcharging! She was just kind of quiet and stood by their policy. We politely hung up. ... I was wanting to do more business locally but after I use my store credit, I will not return. Again, I hate to say something bad about someone, but I was truly upset that they did not try to fix the error correctly.

RUDE! DO NOT EVEN ENTER THIS STORE! My wife and I were in town visiting, entered the Olde Homestead and was shocked to hear how the employee was speaking so ugly to a paying customer at the register. It was even more disturbing to see her belittling the customer AND the product that she was purchasing while with her daughter beside of her! Then it was disgusting to know that it was the owner treating the customer so poorly-I feel bad for not involving myself and supporting that costumer. My wife and I looked at each other in disbelief and left. Major Praises to the customer who showed kindness and a smile to someone so ungrateful, rude and distasteful. We DO NOT recommend, not even a STAR ( but it made us.)

Please be careful what you buy from this store, I purchased an Alex and Ani bracelet about 1 week ago and came home and it had a bad, defective place in one of the hooks, ruined a sweater and scarf, I live 1 1/2 hours from the store, but my daughter was nice enough to take it back for me, and they would not do anything about the bracelet, they were rude, would not offer to replace or anything, they said they did not SEE anything, we called the Alex and Ani manufacturer and sent them a picture via email and they saw the defect from a picture immediately, they are giving me a credit to pick something out to replace it. It is sad you can see the defect in the picture, but in person at the store the associate (they called their best could not see it) they will not stand behind what they sell. BECAREFUL and dont buy from this store.

HORRIBLE customer service. Dont stand behind their products that they sell. Will never shop there again. Owner is just out for a sale and $$.
