Stopped by Chris Cycle today to gather some info on what type of bike to buy for the type of rider that I am. Spoke to a very impressive gentleman who was knowledgeable, friendly, engaging, passionate and honest. We spoke for about an hour about all different topics. I will definitely bring my bike to Chris Cycle for repair in the future. I only wish I could find a car mechanic as honest as him..

This is the kind of place you want to shop for a bike or accessories! Ive bought bikes from the big box stores and high end fitness/bike shops in the past. I am not a hardcore biker, just a guy who likes to ride when the weather is nice and I want some great exercise. I stopped at Chris Cycle a few months ago when I was considering buying a new mountain bike. A refreshing experience to say the least. Low-key and relaxed, high knowledge base, no frills store with lots of used and new selection. They service on-site and you know when they build your bike when its ordered or when its serviced, its done right. I can ask a question and Im confident they are getting me the right answers. Ive been treated well since my purchase for the bikes first tune-up and when I had a tire issue. Top-notch place! Keep it up and Ill be telling everyone Chris Cycle is the place for bikes in the north suburbs.

Chris is the best! He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, takes his time, and is passionate about his work! Really honest too. He says it like it is. Best bike shop Ive come across. I will only be coming here from now on! No need to go anywhere else!

Went in looking for a shorter stem for my mountain bike. Chris took the time to explain the pros and cons of the stems he carried. He had the exact stem I had in mind but it cost a little more than I had intended on paying. He offered to take ten dollars off the price. Great customer service and very knowledgeable about the products he carries.

The service at this store is exceptional; Ive only been in a few times and they instantly remembered not only my face but what I was in for previously. If they dont have what youre looking for, they also give great recommendations for other shops that may better cater to your needs. Extremely knowledgeable, down to earth, helpful, friendly, and ethical.

I have been going to Chris for all my cycle needs for the past few years, I ride about 2k miles every year. I just purchased a new Giant ( Talon) from Chris, and he gave me the absolute best deal on this bike. I most appreciate that he is such an expert on bike repair and in my experience fair on price as well. I could write so much more about this shop, but I will just say THANKS!!!!

Very nice and professional person who owns it. Came in with a bike that needed repairs and was only in there for 10 minutes or so. Very fair price as well. Highly recommend.

This is the place to go for bicycle purchases, supplies and service. Ive been a customer since 2006 and this shop has maintained the highest quality and integrity throughout. They are focused on providing the optimal solution for each customer. I drive from Lincolnshire (or bike the Des Plaines River Trail, weather permitting) to this store because I know that they are the best for bike repairs and they are honest. I wont trust my bike or my wifes bike with any other place, than Chris Cycle. Regarding supplies, lets face it. We can all buy most items online for less money. I choose to buy my bike products here because they provide extensive guidance for the purchase and much more. I wind up with tips on how to best use the item which invariably leads to a discussion about other biking topics, like local trails or winter biking. This consulting I receive is worth so much more than the small premium it costs.

I have been to this shop many times over the decades. From buying the best quality and shop approved bicycles to maintaining my bicicles over the years with exceptional care. Plus buying the obscure accessories I need are always here. This shop’s expertise never lets me down. My family’s original bicycle purchase was in 1996 and has proven to have been an amazing bike for decades to date...We bought more bikes since which have also have been superb... and just today buying another accessory that was adaptor to help transfer big box accessories to the reality of biking. I wouldn’t know what to look for but Chri’s Cycle had it. Thank you!!

Went in to get my commuter bike fixed after an accident. My front wheel was completely bend, tire destroyed, and tube popped. I explained that this was my cheap bike and I didnt want to spend a lot of money fixing it. They gave me a new wheel, tube, AND tire, put them on, and adjusted my breaks for a mere $60, all while being kind, courteous and friendly. I will definitely be bringing any other bikes I have with problems back to Chris Cycle Center.

Great customer experience, took great care with our boys in helping them find the right fit and went out of their way to get one of the bikes put together the same day.

Came in with my wifes bike because the shifters werent working. Chris came right over with another staff member and quickly deduced the problem: the front wheel and fork were spun around and over tensioning the control wires! I was a little embarrassed, but they were completely cool about it :). They then proceeded to fill up the pressure on the tires since they were severely under inflated (again, my inexperience showing through). They were great to work with and on top of everything, Chris didnt charge me for their time. I promised him I would definitely be back when I needed something. Ill be back today to get my girl a new bike and to retrofit my mountain bike. Thanks Chris!
