The owner Hikem gave me a very reasonable price on repairs, and completed the job in less time predicted. There were no hidden charges and the service was excellent! I will return for any future repairs.

Updateted 28th, October 2021. Not as trustworthy as the previous owner. Took car in to have a part installed because of check engine light. The previous owner would have confirmed that part was the only part needed prior to installing it. The current owner installed the part and then came to tell me that I had other codes causing the check engine light. Im sure they confirmed that other codes were on prior to installing, but didnt tell me until after installing the part kowing that I would still have the same problem.

I have been going to vo for 8 years. My last visit was a disaster, I only wanted a tire rotation and an oil change turns out I received more than that. They forgot to put my lug nuts back on. By the time I notice I was already home.

This was a great place when Vo was running it. The work was always affordable while maintaining quality. However, since Vo’s retirement this place has gone downhill.My most recent visit ended in 3 hours of wasted time. I showed up at opening time. I was told the alignment guy was running late. That was fine. I went and got breakfast. After dining in a restaurant I returned to no update. After seeking an update I was told they still hadn’t heard anything from their employee. After 3 hours my car was brought back up and I was told the alignment guy called out sick. Once again no problem. I’ll try again tomorrow. I called the following day and was told it doesn’t look like he’s coming in today either.This will be the last time I attempt to do business here. I’m very disappointed this is what has come of what used to be a great business.

Vo and his team have never once failed us in service. He goes above and beyond to provide safe resolutions. He asks a lot of questions because he is very knowledgeable and can rule things out just by having a conversation. He and his team are not typical mechanics, they actually seem to care about your safety on the road. They stand by their work and they honor their word.

Vo is no longer running this business. The two guys who are currently running it are using shady practices. They kept trying to upsell me on the oil change and told me a regular oil change will destroy the car (Honda Accord) even though the regular oil change is an option that they sell for the Honda Accord. Why would you have a service option that would destroy a vehicle?(Shady upselling practice) Their synthetic oil change price is higher that what you would pay at a dealership. They didnt change any of the filters or even look at the filters or inspect anything else which would have been standard any other Automotive location.

Ive only been coming here a short time maybe about 3or 4visits, but every time I come the work they do is very good the quality is great and the price is very fair in comparison to other places and especially the dealership. This will be my new place to bring my vehicle from now on. And the staff is very friendly and nice and they do not overcharge

OWNERSHIP CHANGED and Vo no longer owns this shop. TERRIBLE service and did not inform about the price of the repair before doing the repair. Carlos and the new owner Hakim simply quoted a price AFTER doing the repair instead of giving a quote before starting the work. Trying to bind the customer into paying them whatever they ask for. Service has completely messed up on this shop. Too many people in the Gwinnett area have trusted this shop due to the amazing service of the previous owner Vo, however please be aware that this is no longer the case. Terrible service is an understatement.

My go to spot for my oil changes. Mr. Vo is by far one of the nicest people in the automotive care service and he will not get over on you in price. His shop is gonna be the best service and deal you get in town or the next. Will recommend

Vo at Votech was the best mechanic I have ever used, had been going to him for almost 20 years. His shop recently changed hands and the new owners have repeatedly said that Vo was just on vacation. How can I trust a shop that continues to lie to me? WHERES Vo?

Paid them 90 dollars to break then Missdiagnose my car!!!!! So Took my 2007 civic in for an a/c flush and recharge along with i asked them to change the pressure sensor that I bought brand new from the dealership. Mind you my a/c would get cold before just wouldn’t stay that way for more than 30 minutes. Also mind you i did a complete a/c system rebuild on this car less than a year before, the only thing I hadn’t changed was that sensor. They took it back and “did the service” but when i got the car back the a/c wouldn’t blow cold at all anymore i took it back and showed them the problem after checking it again i was told that it was the compressor. I was skeptical so i went to global tires about a mile down the road and had them put their a/c machine to flush and recharge the system and the car has been blowing cold air since with no problems. (I didn’t replace nor touch anything else) Do not come here for your a/c problems!!

Good service at Votech. They called to tell me the problem with my car and what needed to be done to fix it. They got the work done quickly and were professional. The waiting room isnt fancy, but that just means you dont pay extra for them to decorate 😆

Call to ask a simple question that would not have taken more than 30 seconds to answer. Phone attendant asked if I could hold for a brief moment I agreed. He then didnt actually put me on hold and proceeded to have conversations with at least five different people. Completely forgot that I was on hold. Then when you came back to the phone. Decided to just hang up and would not pick up when called back.

I took my car here to have my brakes done, and he did the brakes no problem. The issue came when I went to have new tires put on at a different shop and they couldn’t get the wheel lugs off because they were entirely too tight. I took it to another wheel shop and they said the same thing they were put on entirely too tight by Votech. I took it back to Vo and he charged me $120 to get them off. Prior to this incident he diagnosed my car as needing a timing chain repair because of an issue that I was having. Then told me the engine would fail afterwards. After taking my car to the dealership I was told that there’s no timing chain issue that my problem was ignition coil. This shop is no longer trustworthy to me. The dealership was cheaper and more reliable.

I recommend Vo to everybody. He is the best mechanic the fairest the most honest thorough mechanic Ive ever met in my life I dont care if Im just in the southern region if I can get my car to him hes the only one thats going to touch it

Your Honest MechanicWe found out about Vo Tech about two years ago and he has since become our go to mechanic. It costs us a little bit more to have our car towed to him but that does not deter us. He is a very humble hardworking man and my most admired attitude of his is his honesty. You dont easily find an honest mechanic. Highly recommended for all your auto problems.

Ive been going to Votech for 10 years and Ive always been satisfied with the services provided. The owner, anh Thien, is genuine and extremely nice. His pricing is for the most part fair and affordable. He has always been up front and honest about what is needed for my cars and has never recommend unnecessary work when it is not needed. He is normally busy so make sure you call in before showing up. I highly recommend this place!UPDATE: went to a new mechanic for an oil change and was told too much oil was added previously. Inquired twice about ignition sounding stressed upon start-up and Votech said car was fine. Found out today the battery tray and its components were not tightened.

It was truly an amazing experience. I pulled in to park my car and someone was over at my car helping me before I was able to get out. I dropped my car, which I would normally never do, but I was in a bind.They called me within an hour of me dropping it off to tell me what was wrong with it. They notified of what had to be fixed right away and what could wait. They also called me back to let me know the status of the care repairs and if it would be finished the same day or not.The owner was very personable, honest, and trustworthy. While I was there another customer commented they had been coming to this shop for 13 years. Great people and great work which made it easy to part with the money for car repairs.I even got a free set of windshield wiper blades!!!I will be back here whenever I need service.

We have used Vo Tech for years now and today we find out that the owner retired and someone else took over ! We ask price on replacing brakes and was quoted over $600 which is absolutely ridiculous when we’ve NEVER paid that here . They are trying to over charge ! BEWARE !!

Honestly hate to leave a bad review as I know Vo since childhood...but past 2 times now Vo has given very bad service and did not even want to check the part out....then started ignoring calls. Very sad to post this.

Hakim and Carlos provided excellent customer on May 11, 2021. They are good listeners and are knowledgeable about fixing cars. I left my car with them to fix my back brakes and it was ready in 3 hours. No more noises from the back brakes as I drive. Thank you Votech for keeping us safe as we drive with new brakes.

The owner came out and asked what was wrong with my car. I dont think Ive ever been to a place where the owner comes out to greet you. It was raining too. I told him the dealer said the brakes should be replaced, and he offered to take a look before doing the repairs. Another positive. Later I was presented with a reasonable quote to replace brake pad and rotor. I didnt stay there but the job took only couple hours. Everyone was really nice and one of the technicians took the time to explain that I may see and smell brake smoke for the first few min of driving due to the new parts. Awesome experience, will come back for sure.

I have been coming here for years so it is with great sadness that I have to now say that this shop is no longer a reputable one. After several incidents with my wife car and recently my own I found this shop and Mr. Lee the owner to be a shop where misdiagnosed problems lead u to more money spent and still you being broken down on the side of the highway. Its became a shop where the money is more important than their quality of work. I towed my car back three times in less than two months for the exact same problem only to be told it was twice the same problem and once a totally different problem but just four days after spending over $1400 in parts and labor mostly labor I find myself broken down again with the exact same issues, I was having and with having to tow my car three times before. I Expressed to Mr. Lee that I should not have to pay to have it tow again for their misdiagnosed problems. He refused and would not take any accountability what so ever. This was very disheartening after several years of doing business with VOTECH. Along with being over charge/quoted for other repairs only to take that same issue to the dealer and be cheaper. I hate to say it but Votech automotive has become a complete money pit unless your getting something simple done like an oil change or a brake job hard to messed those up. Highly unrecommend! Please beware of there assessment. Its no fun being broken down on the side of the road with money spent and no recourse of action to get your car repaired, now do to money you have already spent and the shop you took it to will not take accountability! 8 year customers lost!

I’ve had all types of services done from routine maintenance to specialty work to tires and I’ve never had a bad experience this guy screams integrity we need more like him. Great service, my boss referred me and ive been back several times in the last 6 months for different reasons and my experience is exceptional every time. Prices are affordable, quick service, awesome work, and the customer service is perfect. Vo explained the problem, cause and effect, and all of my options regarding how long i can keep riding the way it is, parts etc... i honestly dont think Ill ever take my cars to another place.

My family and I have been coming here for years. He’s helpful and kind and gets the job done quick. I drive 40 min to see him and his team. I had gone to a pep boys for an oil change and they were gonna charge me $100 and the wait time was 2 hours. Seriously 2 hours for an oil change. I drove here to Votech got my oil change for $75 and done in 30 min. Great customer service.

Vo is a great man who is always honest, knowledgeable, hard working and fair with his prices. He LOVES cars and has taken great care of mine since my 1986 Honda Prelude. I have recommended him to many of my family and friends. He has worked on the Falcons cars Bentley’s and I saw Dominique Wilkins in there one day. He does great body work too.

I was quoted way above average cost to replace two parts on my Honda Accord. The cost to replace the oil pressure switch and VTech valve shouldn’t exceed $450-$500 (for parts and labor) but I was quoted $830 here. Just because I’m a woman doesn’t mean you should try and rip me off.

I had my maintenance required light on....he told me no need to spend money to check it....and showed me a quick fix as mine was related to oil change. I have been going to Votech Automotive for years as its always a fair price and great service. My 12 year old Toyota Avalons A/C system stopped running while in Florida. Local mechanics and dealers wants $2,000 - $2,500. I drove my car back to Votech and work was completed for nearly half the amount.

Do not trust this owner! He may seem very nice and kind, but he is very devious! They will say your car has this problem and then when you pick it up.. they say its a different problem and charge your more for no reason. This place is not trustworthy! Be careful when your bring your car in! I got ripped off big time! They said it will cost 2,600 for a catalytic converter, I bought it to two other places and they said it will only cost around 900 dollars. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!! They lost a long time customer.
