I can’t say enough about this place, Daniel & Karen really made my second car buying experience a dream! Daniel genuinely wanted to see me in a new car that I loved whether I financed through Hyundai or my credit union. Karen made sure I got that car! Even the finance department talked to me, answered my questions and heard my concerns. I was adamant about paying a certain monthly payment, & they made sure I was BELOW that number. If I could do it all again I would! Everything was perfect.

The Service Advisor was very pleasant and helpful. He was able to answer all of my questions. Unfortunately they do not honor the Hyundai extended warranty from Nalley Hyundai so I had to pay for service that should have been covered under my warranty. They removed the rear license plate frame from where I purchased the vehicle and replaced it with there frame. No one asked me if they could do this nor did they inform that it was done. You NEVER change anything on a vehicle without the owners permission.

I would give zero stars but I do not think that is an option. I bought a brand new 2021 Santa Fe with 14 miles on it Memorial day weekend 2021. With only 3 months of driving the car, the car started experiencing an issue where the engine would shutoff while the car was in motion. As you could imagine, this is a major safety issue.I took to the dealership to have repaired. They checked it out and said they though it was a faulty part. I was not given a replacement car while the part was ordered. Let me also add a technician of theirs drove the car and the engine shutoff on him while he was half way through an intersection. The poor man could have been injured or killed due to this carss issue. I was told the next week the car was repaired and took it home. That same week the same issue happened again. Now they tell me it was a pinched wire and I do not feel safe driving this vehicle anymore.I was told by my service manager to reach out to Hyundai corporate. I have tried to reach out to Hyundai Corporate but after making contact and creating a case with them they will not return my calls. It has been over a 2 weeks and I call every day and my case manager is never Available. I have spoken to reps and have asked to have it escalated three times and I was told I would be called back each time. I have yet to receive a call back.I now have a car with an engine that shuts off randomly (major safety issue) and Hyundai seems to want nothing to do with me. The car only has 3500 miles. After this experience I would not recommend anyone buy a Hyundai, as when the car has issues, Hyundai does not seem to want to help the customer. I now own a car with an engine that shuts itself off and no help from Hyundai.

My buying experience was AMAZING! Karen was SO kind and helpful.I brought my car in for the first oil change and they said I needed a spark plug maintenance which is required at 45k miles. I bought the car when it had over 46k miles. So that was the first red flag. Nothing was wrong with my car when I brought it in for the oil change.I had them do the spark plugs.On my way home from the service my car shakes when I’m idling. And my check engine light came on today. They did the service only a couple days ago. Now when I call they say buying used cars means they don’t check those things before you buy. They only do an oil change. They also can not see my car for a few days. The earliest I can get them is Friday in 4 days. This car is my primary and ONLY source of transportation. I am a preschool teacher and my son is 4. I’m not sure how I will get him to school without messing up the car even more. You’d think theyd see you immediately if they were the ones who made the mistake. They also won’t take my calls anymore. They hung up on me and I’ve been calling for an hour and it keeps going to voicemail.

Overall I give Potamkin 4 stars. The online maintenance scheduling was convenient but I couldnt figure out how to change the date/time when something came up. I had to cancel and then do it over. Drove up to the service bay and was greeted by Jessica who was very friendly. Pleasure to deal with. I would give 5 stars because of Jessica alone, but the day I dropped off the car and every day until I picked it up there was someone from acquisitions offering to buy my car for trade in. Super annoying! Sometimes 2 calls a day even when I asked them to stop calling! Once or twice? No problem. Two times a day for the week? Unacceptable! No means no!

I had a recall for a trunk latch and per another Hyundai dealer knock sensor. After speaking to other dealers in the metro Atlanta area I was able to confirm that the knock censor is under recall, mines had been checked however, after a diagnostic test IF HYUNDAI IS FOUND LIABLE IT WOULD BE FIXED AT NO COST. “Not true” sayS the service manger Alexei and I would have to pay fort he diagnostic test because of the mileage of my car. After getting clarity about services provided to customer at this dealership I’m very disappointed again with the service information I was provided by the manager. I found out about other things needed via print out expressing that I was aware even though we never spoke in our text conversation about any other repairs being “NEEDED” confirming My reason for decline any services from this dealership because this has happened before at this exact location. Poor management supports the quality of service provided to you at this location. Very unfortunate. I was advised to go to another dealership. Which definitely is the plan. I would like this email to be added to my follow up about services as well as I see my email has been taken off of my account.

VETERANS STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Thanking us for our service is merely lip service on their part and nothing more. They DO NOT HAVE OUR BEST INTEREST AT HEART. This dealership is a perfect example of what’s wrong in the Auto Industry today and why more and more people are steering away and using alternate methods to buy a car. They lie, overpromise and under deliver! I’m a Veteran and they knew that. Hyundai was offering a $500 Rebate to those that served in the military. Technically this was to have been deducted from the price of the car. (I won’t bore you with the fact that they kept manipulating the price to their advantage) Their sales manager however, did not want to do this and led us to believe that it would come to us in the form of a check. We purchased the car 4 months ago and we haven’t heard a word from Hyundai. The folks at the dealership have done very little to rectify this problem, merely blaming everything on “Corporate” and looking for loopholes to get out of having to live up to their commitment. This dealership is unscrupulous and will do or say anything to make a sale. If you’re a Veteran DO NOT let them, make you think they care. THEY DON’T! Move on and if you have to buy a Hyundai, find another dealership!***This is a rebuttal to the Dealers Response. We were NEVER informed what was required for the rebate. The sales manager asked for a DD-214 and I did not have this, but there were other documents that would have sufficed in its place that WE DID HAVE. The list of ACCEPTABLE documents was shown to us months after we hadnt received our rebate, not at the time of sale. Today is 10/13/2021 and weve yet to hear from anyone at Hyundai. The car was purchased at the beginning of June. To blame the client instead of owning up to your own ineptitude is beneath a business. Again, Veterans stay away. Saying they value our service is one thing, showing it another.

Would not recommend business here to anyone. I came in here as a first-time car buyer alone and felt like they were actively trying to take advantage of my lack of experience at every turn. They were also extremely pushy. I had called asking if they had a certain car available, and the next day while I was at work, they called me no fewer than 6 times!The finance manager (Jorome Duncan) felt especially dishonest. The difference between the price of the car I wanted as advertised on the website and the cost I ended up paying after all of their various fees was $9,000, nearly 50% more than the price they advertised online. This was especially egregious given that they wrote out the cost of the vehicle and fees for me when I arrived and had me sit with the numbers waiting for like 4 hours. When the finance manager finally called me in, they informed me that I only had a few minutes to read and sign all of the paperwork, since I needed to go to the bank and the bank was nearly closed. Because of this rush, I completely missed that the final paperwork they had me sign included thousands of dollars more in fees that the cost of the vehicle and fees that they had given me earlier. It left and extremely bad taste in mouth, and it felt deliberately fraudulent.The service has also been exceptionally bad since I purchased the vehicle, with them routinely failing to respond to emails or questions. Avoid this dealership at all costs (and itll probably save you money, anyways).

I was very happy with my vehicle purchase, until I found out that the extended warranty was not active when I went to file a claim. I purchased my vehicle in September 2020, and did not need to file a claim until a year later. After speaking with extended warranty company they explained that the contract was never sent over to them and they did not know why. Long story short I was able to get the finance manager to get the policy reactivated however what if something major would have occurred during the time period that it was not active. After doing further research I found out that the policy was not paid for until February 2021, so it’s like I have been paying for something I did not have. It’s a very good thing that I kept all of my paper work as well because without that I would have no proof that they ever sold me the warranty. The finance company has no record of what extras were purchased.

Edited review: So buying my car went fairly smoothly. However, a few weeks after I bought the car my bank said they had not received the title. I contacted my salesman about this and a day later he said they had the title. But weeks later, my bank still didnt have it. I contacted my salesman a few more times, but then he stopped getting back to me. I had no idea what was going on. So I had to spend an entire week calling the dealer to finally hear back from someone. Finally, a manager explained the situation to me and eventually my bank did receive the title about 2 months after I bought the car. Now the thing that really bothered me is that after all this, the salesman who had not gotten back to me for weeks, called and sternly told me that if I needed anything to only contact him. Not cool.Old review: Purchased a used car at Potamkin Hyundai of Stone Mountain and everything went smoothly. I worked with Marcus Washington and he was very friendly and went out of his way to help and answer all my questions. Excellent buying experience.

The only reason it has a one star is I had to give it that to be able to post. My advice for anyone is to steer clear of Hyundai. I had a 2018 sonata took in for oil consumption. Their fix was to keep filling back up and telling me they were checking per Hyundai. After 2000 miles it was almost no oil on dip stick took back to potamkin they filled back up and said same thing. Hyundai refused to fix. Had starting issue, when you put foot on brake to start would not start. Their answer wax they could not duplicate. I had no problem duplicating problem. After two months I traded vehicle. Will not own another Hyundai and would not take a vehicle to potamkin for repair. Service department has no clue and always wanted to put back on Hyundai but always had excuses. I feel sorry for service techs, they have to lie and cover up for a company that does not care about their vehicle just a sale.
