I was referred to the salon by coworkers who said” they are pricey but they usually have good stylists” so I went to the salon for haircut and color. Started off ok but as stylist was putting foils in another one of her customers arrived. She finished my foils and started on the other customer.From that point on she ran between the 2 of us .(rinsed my hair but made me wait at sink while she attended to other customer. Made me wait in chair while she rinses other customer etc) When she finally got back to me she just started cutting my hair. I stopped her and said “ do you want me to show you a pic of the cut I want?” She said sure and barely glanced at it. She spent 3 min cutting my hair and immediately threw me under the hair dryer and ran to her other customer. Didn’t even show me it in the mirror, ask if it was ok .. nothing.I was feeling my hair and it didn’t feel right.I pulled off the hairdryer and started looking in the mirror it was not remotely like the cut I wanted. Another stylist saw me and got my stylists attention. She came back to me and I told her I wanted layers not whatever this was she did to my hair. She sat me back down and then cut my hair correctly. Then she blew dry it a little, flung off the cape, and walked away. I found my way to front with still damp hair and paid. As I got to car I realized how yellow my highlights are. She never put toner on like she said she would. When she took a few seconds of her time to listen to me, she did a good job. If you would like to go to the salon for the experience and to be pampered a little then this is not the salon for you. If you want to be treated as an afterthought or nuisance then this is the place to go.

I like Pennys! They have good products at reasonable prices. On my last visit though, they were low on suits and literally did not see an employee.

I bought Sears for my windows. The clerk was very friendly and helpful. The price was okay, but good quality

The products they have are high quality but they dont have very many plus size dresses which doesnt make any sense because theres more chubby people in America then most places plus it would also make them more money

Stylist was very nice and did a nice job. She was a new grad and had been there 2 wks. We scheduled a trim and they cut my daughters hair dry and sent her in her way. Did not ask us any questions. Then charged the same price if they had washed and styled also. I think this is jcp policy. I dont think this was the stylists fault and I hope she finds a better job soon :)

Love JCPenney. This location has a decent selection of menswear and usually has good deals. Clean as well. Also offers the best brand of shirts- Stafford!

Havent shopped here in years. Goes with the rest of the stores in the mall, uncapable to complete and attract customers to the mall.

I am currently standing in the store and they have 1 register open with 1 associate checking out customers. I understand understaffing, it’s everywhere but where is the managers at. I have walked around this store for 15 min trying to find someone to help me and after asking 2 different associates they sent me to another part of the store. I am very disappointed.

Customer Assistant in JCPenney Lima Ohio, named Barbie, complained out loud about being sick. To my question about why she was not wearing a mask, she replied that masks did not agree with her. So, she came to the store to infect the customers who were not wearing masks????? A minute later she pointed at me while talking with other customer assistants saying she wanted me to wear a mask, hahaha.This is outrageous, and in violation of professional ethical and safety codes of behavior.

We looked all over lima for a suit for our grandson and nothing 🤦‍♀️ then we checked jc Pennys they had it all ! And when we checked out got a nice surprise as it was like 34 bucks cheaper than marked !! We were very pleased .

Nice store but entrances for the handicap is closed makes it kind of rough. Store has caution tape up in kids section so it is tough maneuvering through the store. Assoc 0822 in the womens department was very nice.

Hardly ever many registers open. So, the waits in line are way too long.

Good selection of mens dress clothes. Bummed as they never have the size of levis needed for the boys.

Honestly, this trip was kind of a nightmare. The selection was poor, with several areas of the sales floor left wide open and empty. The bathroom was impossible to find (as were any employees to ask!!!) and sketchy as hell. When we went to check out, none of the items rang up with their posted sales price and the employee just shrugged her shoulders and told me I must have looked at them wrong. I went back to the shelves and clarified the posted sale price, but ended up leaving the store empty-handed and FRUSTRATED!!!

Checkout areas are not clearly marked as we had to walk all around the store until we found someone who directed us to another area to pay for our items. The dressing rooms were big and clean except some character came barging in while I was trying on shirts.

Considering we dont have many options left in Lima mall I still enjoy shopping there

Goof selection of merchandise. Had alot of people in the store. Lines were very long to check out. Took my wife 20 min. to pay for one item. To bad about the condition of the Lima mall. Im old enough to remember when it was packed with all the storefronts full.

Great easy pickup of online order. You did have to go upstairs, but there is an elevator available to use. They were helpful for me not having to find the confirmation email, they instead used my drivers license as a picture identification.

They need to do a better job advertising their sales and providing coupons at the register instead of making customers go on a scavenger hunt for them.

Let me start off by saying its not the products I dislike, its the employees. Very rude, I went to ask where the restrooms were located, a very rude cashier rolled her eyes, sighed and yelled that way without pointing in any general direction.I have asked other employees questions about products and, like the lady described above, I was met with the feeling I oh so bothered them. Anymore I just use the place as a gateway to the other stores, I wont waste their time anymore. Or mine.

This store used to be my favorite. There was a sweet boy named Keaton that had the best customer service. And I wish his coworkers had the same skills..Today I picked up a package and I had to wait so long because of the manager taking her time to answer the employee and the employee didn’t even apologize to me for wasting my time. Seriously hate shopping there

I would give this 0 stars if it was an option. I was shopping in JC Penney, and they have closed off all enterances/exits that lead to other stores in our mall and require you to walk around to get to the other half of our Mall. Making it more difficult to shop competitors, while forcing us thru normal doorways with handles, instead of the 30 wide always open doorway, with no handles.

I love JCPenney. I love the clothes and jewelry and purses. They have great sales and great salespeople. Today I bought a buy one get one free I saved $38 dollars. My favorite place to shop.

Great prices and is a good spot for picking up some clothes for the holidays or a nice occasion. Had some great Christmas sales. The staff was super friendly and helped with a few questions. The staff went above and beyond to help with using gift cards and with questions about items that were and were not on sale.

I was very disappointed because I drove quite a distance for their sale. I hadnt been in their store for a while. Nothing I wanted was a part of the sale, and everything I had brought to the register for purchased I was told, Thats not part of the sale, only these 3 things on this shelf and this thing on this shelf, but not everything. What store is organized like that? Wont be going back there. Online is much easier.

Great store tons of deals offered constantly and some pretty legit name brand mens clothing. Like addidas etc. I enjoy getting stuff from here. They also have a pretty good and affordable section of housewares decor and bathroom kitchen rugs towels etc.

Came in to buy some crocks for my daughter. Stood in the shoe department for almost 30 mins. Went to the jewelry counter and lady got annoyed when I asked her to call for someone to come and assist us. She told me everything is out. I was just asking to be SHOWN where the crocks were. Very rude and should try a different profession, maybe the public is NOT involved! Got a call back by the manager apologizing but we all know those calls are just nothing but a pacifier and nothing will truly be done. Laid my purchase down and said screw it. :/ Might think about closing my Pennys card after this since this is the closest store to me.

Always a clean store with friendly associates. But some of the fitting room doors wont lock, they dont have benches or anything to set non-hanging clothes on while in the fitting room. And the temperature of the store was hot and muggy.
