Can anyone explain why this location is NEVER open? 9 am on a Friday? 2:30 on any given afternoon?And never any posting on their website to keep people from exiting the highway only to find -- NOTHING!
Barely had half inventory on menu no apology or nothing and half the time they r closed I dont understand the issue considering its a new build and I know plenty of people who applied for job here and never got called so that cant be a issue.
Unapologetic staff choosing personal convenience over accessibility.When we arrived, the front door to this store was locked with hand written sign stating Patio door open. MO only. The patio door was not accessible as the patio was around 8ft wide with two rows of small tables. Staff were not accommodating in opening the front door. Upon arriving inside and asking why this choice had been made, staff informed me that they were unable to take in store orders so they locked the front door to stop customers who wanted to order in store and not on the app.It seems a better solution would have been to leave the front door open and introduce customers to the Starbucks app and the ease of mobile ordering.
They did not update their hours on Google maps so I was disappointed to find that they were not open.
Always closed. Lousy service. Slowest staff Ive ever seen. Was in line for 45 minutes for 1 drink. Good job workers... You are among the slowest fast food / coffee joints Ive ever been to.
Hit or miss Randomly changing hours, constantly not enough workers. When they are open A 1 service, better get it b4 130pm they close at 2pm
Never had an issue with service, but good luck ever catching this place open. I visit my family in Kenton and we typically make a trip to Lima. Would love a coffee during the trip, but have only been able to catch them open (in the middle of the afternoon) a couple times.
I dont know where people on here say they are rude; my wife and I have been here countless times and have never had a rude experience. They baristas and window people are always friendly and polite. They make some awesome drinks and finger foods here. I love coming here, yes, the one at the hospital is nice, but this one really is great.My guess is there are people who are local only on here, and I support that but lets not trash a place to help local businesses. They make their drinks right, they are very kind, and they do a great job. Definitely my go to coffee fix place in town. Thank you for coming to Lima.
I mean I get that your store just went through a huge labor issue where everyone walked out, and you had to rehire, but maybe the reason youre struggling is because of the people you keep hiring. You finally have a full staff, and they cant seem to be bothered to make orders. Or just all around have a poor attitude about being at work.
The food and service was amazing it cannot get any better
When you ask for a bagels with cream cheese and they dont give you a knife. Like why but other then that they did a great job.

Super nice & friendly staff but as far as customer service, they’re always randomly closed and seems you can never catch them consistently open. Would love for them to have normal hours but twice this week now they’ve been closed all day.
When this place is open everything is great. Great service, great coffee. Now heres the bad. Good luck catching them open. Every week the hours change. This happens weekly, sometimes that day. I cant stress enough how frustrating it is to pull in and see a paper in the window that has new handwritten hours that have changed since just a few days ago. I do want to reiterate that the staff is excellent when you do catch them open.
Theyre very short staffed so they cant be open normal hours. Thats what they told me. She said no one wants to work anymore.
The crew is very friendly and do their jobs well.However, this place is a bit of a management nightmare. This area has been highly anticipating a stand-alone Starbucks for quite some time. There is a lot of demand. Yet, since opening, they have very rarely been open in the evening. I know of at least one person who applied to work there that never got a call and would have gladly worked evenings.Further, when they are open, they do nothing to manage the traffic flow in the drive-thru line. It blocks the rest of the parking lot and negatively impacts traffic on the service road leading to it. I recommend reaching out to the Sawmill Rd store as they have managed lines exceeding the store parameters very well (traffic cones).I hope they tackle their operational hours challenge soon. Lima is happy to have you here and wants your store to succeed!
Im not a big fan of their coffee. But I love the atmosphere.
The last 6 times Ive gone to this specific Starbucks on 309, I would check that the store is open and sometimes even call ahead to double check and each time the store is closed. Dont recommend going to this store because it is highly unreliable and unprofessional.
When they first opened. They had no idea what they were doing. I guess all they needed was a bit of training. Everything is made at a good pace and tasty. My only complaint is they need to measure the cream they put in coffee. They put about a 1/2 cup of creamer in it to where the coffee is white and the coffee flavor is gone.
The past three times Ive come here, my drink has smelled like rotten milk. I end up not even drinking it. This past time was the worst which is why I’m making a review, because it’s happened multiple times. The smell is so bad It makes me gag.
I have been very disappointed with this Starbucks. I understood when they had to close early because of employee shortages, and now with the supply shortages for the drinks. But I have about had it. The service has been terrible, the drive-thrus been closed, and they arent very reliable. I love starbucks, but you dont get your moneys worth there. Its very disappointing.
As of 6/19/21, cafe is closed, but drive through is open.The staffs were ok and so was the coffee. It seems that prices have increased. For a tall caramel machine, I paid $4.50.
I decided to try Starbucks one morning and asked for a vanilla flavored coffee and expressed warm coffee not cold multiple times I get to the end of the drive-thru loading behold cold coffee with ice I dump that s*** in the parking lot before I even left dont waste your time going
The least friendly Starbucks Ive ever been to. No one greeted me when I walked in even though I was the only person in the store. What a way to start the morning 🥲 a little hello goes a long way folks.

Rarely open, overpriced, and lines as long as communist food lines. Find another place for coffee. There is a McDonalds down the street and a Biggby the other side of 75.
Mobile order enabled, lobby closed. Not helpful when you’re ordering ahead on a road trip to stay on the road, then have to pull in the long drive thru line to get your drinks.Friendly staff, though.

1st time visiting this location since its open when passing through to visit a friend after a 2 hour drive 🚗. They were not very polite at all. Asked a simple question and got rude response.
Hot coffee is not hot enough. Cups not fully filled on hot drinks. Upside-down iced caramel macchiatos are excellent. Cold drinks good improvement needed on hot drinks
It would be nice if they were open past noon everyday. If you are there past noon they are closed. What a waste of a starbucks. Back to Bigby coffee
They get the order right, the staff is friendly. I would suggest you definitely order ahead and how inside to pickup your order. The worst part of this location is getting stuck in the parking lot because of the people waiting to get thru the drive thru. Not enough space to maneuver to get out.
The Medicine Ball is the best thing they have next to the mango dragon fruit lemonade refresher!
Had to wait in an extremely long line, as only drive thru service is available at this time. But, the line moved fairly guick. The gentleman who took our order was very nice and polite. The young lady at the window was great! Super polite and nice. I am newbie to Starbucks. Had a wonderful experience !!

Always seems to be closed, the best part is they dont update their hours online, on facebook or the app, They just close. Unprofessional, and closed every other day for no apparent reason.
The wait is unbearable. It took them 30min to get through 6 cars in the drive through. I could see them working through the window at a snails pace while the manager sits at the counter on her phone. Seems to be both an issue with staffing and management. The fact that Starbucks allows this as a company is baffling. I will not repeat.
Wow! Okay so this team is absolutely amazing. The night team was so sweet to me, and the blonde manager was so nice. I honestly cannot say enough nice words about the young man behind the counter who made my drink as well. I also explained to the manager how a previous barista incorrectly took my stars, and they had expired. So she made sure to use those stars on another drink I got inside so I never actually lost them. I praise the hard work all these baristas put in. I wish I had grabbed their names so I can write their names properly on here.I saw in a previous review of some complaints about the drive through wait, and I agree. They definitely need to hire some more people to be able to get through the lines quicker. However, I completely understand because I was explained to by another manager a few days ago in the morning that they have a limited staffing issue that is being resolved in the next few weeks. Best of luck to them all!

Placed a mobile order on a drive from Detroit to Cincinnati. Anticipated it being a quick run into the store to grab our goods and hit the road again. Instead, the store was locked. Had to sit in the drive thru for 25 minutes while everyone else in front of us ordered. So much for a quick stop. The gentleman at the drive thru said they locked the doors in anticipation of it being a busy day. We suggested putting a note on the front door with an occupancy limit to prevent overcrowding. We are all living in covid season, we understand the rules and why as far as limiting capacity. His bright answer was “I just make the drinks”. To top it off, my ‘hot’ drink was luke warm and the frap was partially melted. Starbucks, for $11 for two drinks I would expect a little better service.

Place is overhyped, 25minute drive through times because everyone goes there for the name when biggby is right down the street and is just as good if not better.
I usually go in the morning as soon as they open because evening time can get pretty chaotic! Majority of the baristas I’ve met have been extremely nice, but there is one barista who truly makes my morning better! His name is Connor and he has been working the drive thru most mornings I go! He is extremely kind and upbeat and doesn’t mind engaging in conversation until your coffee is ready!I always order a venti iced caramel brûlée latte with VSCCF and extra topping and 95% of the time it’s made perfect! A couple times it was made wrong but Devin (also very helpful and SUPER nice) had no issue having it remade!I can’t wait until they hire more baristas for evening so the lobby can remain open when the line is wrapped around the building! It would be nice to be able to walk inside instead of waiting in line!
Drive thru is horrible. 15-20 min wait time every single time.
Had 5 cars in the drive thru and workers in the building and ignored every car at the speaker an hour before closing. Also straight up ignored cars who pulled up to window. If you’re going to close over an hour early atleast tell the people sitting in line or turn off your mobile ordering.
