We hadThermal Guard install new windows and doors in our home. The gentleman that installed the windows and doors were very professional. They completed the job in a timely mater and answered all questions that we had. Took the time to show us on how the windows worked. After completing the job the area was cleaned up and the old windows and doors were hauled away. The staff that dealt with us when we were trying to decide what doors and windows we wanted took their time and showed us all of the different windows and doors available. They even put in matching keys for all of the doors. Excellent work and employees. Highly recommend the staff at Thermal Guard.

Thermal Gard installed all new windows and doors in my house about 8 years ago. I was having a issue and they sent Dennis ( pretty sure that was his name) out to fix it. He was kind, efficient, and got the problem solved. I really appreciate their attention to customer service and fixing my problem in a timely manner. Patio Door is Sturdy, Solid and Attractive. We are so glad we tried Thermal Gard and when we need new windows will look them up for that too.

We had our front picture window replaced by these guys and we are thrilled about it. The process of the in-home quote and the installation went so smooth. We will be having the rest of our windows and doors replaced by Thermal Gard. The process of removing the old window and installing the new one only took the guys 3 hours! This window was no small feat as it measure over 10 feet wide!!

I am very disappointed in the service Ive received so far. I ordered a door through Thermal Gard after they convinced me they were the superior company with superior products despite their prices being higher than other companies I looked at. After 2 weeks they finally called me to schedule measurements, but I was unable to talk at the moment they called... I called them back a day or 2 later and was told they needed to pull my file and would call me back... after 2 more weeks of silence I called them back and was told they would schedule me the next week... again, silence... I called the next week and they say they can schedule me next week... this would put us 6 weeks out from ordering the door just to get measurements! They did finally agree to come out same day and not delay another week, but this is still 5 weeks to get measurements... which means my door isnt even ordered from the manufacturer yet, and Ive already been told manufacturing is delayed several months due to Covid 2020. Im very disappointed by the delay, but Im even more disappointed by the lack of communication. They only called me once in 5 weeks... this measurement only got scheduled when it did because I called them... multiple times. Each time they would say oh, yes. Your file is right here on top. If my file is right here on top then why am I not receiving a call to get this scheduled so my door can get here before Christmas of next year?! Very disappointed. I also should mention Im local and live only 15min from their store. 😔

We have recently had a patio door installed and were so pleased and satisfied with it, we decided to have all of our windows replace. When we called, they immediately scheduled an appointment for the next day. Paul came out and gave us our estimate and set up an approximate day of installation.

Great job Thermal Gard! Dan and Toby installed a new window in my condo today. They were professional and courteous. Also, a shout out to the sales team (Paul and John). Paul went through my condo and looked at all 21 windows, fixed one that was off kilter and showed me how to remove the screens. He spent the better part of an hour evaluating the condition of every window, even though it was only a one window order. They ordered a custom size and when it came in they fit me in between other larger orders. Today before the installers left, Toby made sure I knew how to open and clean my new window. Greg was the salesman that came to measure our window. I noticed something with the price was off and he fixed it right away the next day. Dan and Toby came the other day to install our window. We noticed it was leaking last night with all the rain we had. I called this morning and they had Jeff come out and fix it right away. Dan and Toby also came out and helped. We were very impressed with how quick they came to fix the window and how beautiful the window looks. They really did a great job and will have our business in the future!

This company is awesome! We had 6 windows installed in our upstairs, they had to carry all of the windows in, up 2 flights of stairs in the winter, when they left, other than having new windows, you couldnt even tell they had been there. They left with no debris whatsoever. The installers were great, the salesman, Boe, was awesome, he went over all of the different options, they all showed up when they said they would. It was a great experience. Well worth the money, my rooms upstairs were always like a freezer and now they are warm.

We had our windows put in the Summer of 2019. We couldnt be any happier. The ENTIRE staff has been nothing but professional with us. This includes the workers and the sales staff. We were most impressed with the workers while on site. They came to do a job and a job well done was what they did. Our heating and cooling bills have come down tremendously over time. We live on the corner of an intersection that gets at least 10,000 cars a day. Our noise level has decreased by probably 90-95%. I NEVER know when it is windy out side unless I see the trees moving. Also, I have Rheumotoid Arthritis and cleaning the windows is a breeze. I love the simplicity of them. We had 12 windows replaced with triple pane glass. Even though they were not the cheapest, compared to other places in town, the value of the windows is remarkable. Phenomenal and professional service from sales to installation (and even checking back in). There was honestly no pressure whatsoever during the free estimate to lock in a rate or any thing close to a pushy sales tactic. This is a team that knows the quality of their windows and services and is willing to work with home-owners to get the best possible services for the customer. The estimate process went so well that we decided to go ahead and replace all 14 of our windows. We were even further surprised to have the president of the company, Doug Roser, come over to get the final measurements and confirm the installation date. On the installation day, two very professional gentlemen came to the house and they got right to work on installing the windows, so efficiently in fact that they managed to install all 14 windows in one day (ranging from small to large windows and casements to sliders).If you are in the market to have your windows replaced give them a shot.

Id give NO star if that were available. Customer Service is the worst. 17 windows bought and paid for with life time guarantee. Seal broke and now window is foggy and they want to send me instructions on how to replace the glass WHAT? Or, I could send the window to them and they would fix. Do you have any idea how much a triple pane window weighs. I need to go higher up for more acceptable solution.EDIT:received your response, no where for me to respond back so Im editing my posting. Arent all TGW independently owned? Ours went out of business which leaves us with nothing. Your response, as a TGW representative, should have been to minimally redirected me to a source to get the help I paid for and I deserve, not wait a year to even respond.

Thermal Gard in Lima sells a high quality product and is very responsive to service needs when they arise.

My family bought 29 windows there, and within 5 years, the seals had turned into something that resembles silly putty. The glass on half a dozen windows also cracked - but was replaced by them. A couple years later (8 years after they were initially installed...) almost half the remaining windows had cracks, and they would not do anything about it, would not even come and look at it. We ended up replacing all of the seals ourselves, with material we bought on the Internet, and had another company replaced MANY bad components of these windows. It was an expensive lesson learned. The receipts are from Thermal Gard, Lima, Ohio...

They were paid to install a front entry door and frame and replacce rear door handle and install a deadbolt at my business TAT-2-U on elida road they installed a front door and cracked the door frame and told us it was our fault when we hadnt even used the door yet then when they finally replaced it weeks later they just gave us the rear door equipment without installing it then when we called them back out to install it (which they were paid for) they said they were not supposed to install it and told us that they would not install either of them installers were very unprofessional the way they spoke to us and the way they worked really thought by their commercials that they would be a great company to work with but they definitely were not would not recommend this company to anyone

Save your money buy some one else`s windows. I have replaced the balances three times in over half my windows. Every panel in every window has been changed three times because they fogged. My father across town has had Anderson windows for 30 years and has never touched them. I shudder to think how much I paid for these windows they are JUNK.
