Extremely helpful and courteous staff. We felt so welcome and the sales associates took care of every detail. Cindy will legit move mountains to make it happen. The delivery was PERFECT. They arrived on time to the minute, took excellent care of our items, and set it up exactly how we wanted. Communication was efficient, prompt, and we knew exactly what we were getting. I cannot say enough good things; we will be back!

I didnt end up buying any thing from here but it wasnt due to pricing or service... It was do to the pandemic and the time frame of receiving the sofas. If it would have came in sooner we would have bought sofas from here. Staff was amazing and the items sold had lots of quality

Wow! This is a throwback to the good old days when you could shop a local family-run business and buy high-quality locally produced furniture from knowledgeable staff & at reasonable prices. You thought those days were gone? Visit here and be pleasantly surprised. They carry Bassett, Temple and other great brands and can customize nearly every aspect. They even have a vintage furniture section and carry some parts like feet and tacks.

I knew excactly what I was looking for when my husband and I decided to check out Carolina Furniture Mart just to see if they had anything similar to the screenshot of a desk/hutch/chest combo on my phone. I didn’t see anything similar in store because I’m super picky, but I showed Stuart the photo, and he instantly found it in a catalogue and the price was incredible compared to what I’d priced online for similar pieces! Purchasing was simple and fast, and the two guys who delivered it to our home a few short weeks later were wonderful and friendly! From start to finish, our experience was highly professional and I can’t say enough about the excellent customer service! Thank you! We’ll definitely be purchasing more furniture from there soon!

They dont allow baby strollers. I have never been to a furniture store that does not allow baby strollers.

This is a family owned store it has the great hometown feel and friendly people. We bought 4 pieces of furniture and they delivered all for $50 and set it up in the house. The best $50 I have spent they were very heavy pieces.

Went in as a first time furniture buyer and had a great experience. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. None of the imported rickety stuff here like the big box stores. The products at carolina are built well and to last. Very reasonable delivery and the delivery guys were very prompt and professional.I will be returning for future purchases from them.

My fiancé and I just bought a house last year and have furnished 3 rooms with them thus far and the experience has been great! David and Denise are wonderful to worth it and have been more than helpful.We had a major water leak in our home the beginning of this year, and the repairs are taking a lot longer than expected, they have been holding our furniture for us for two months now with zero complaint. Great company, will continue to furnish our home with their products for years to come.

We had a terrible experience. In 2013 we bought a living room set and what we thought was a bed wooden headboard. We also bought 2 twin mattresses. So they made out well with that sale. However when they delivered the items and attached the headboard to the bed frame, they cracked it and never said anything. I happened to notice it a few days later. When I called they brought someone out only to tell me that it was a foot board and that is why it did not fit right on the frame. Even though they offered to take it back, they said they did not have anything else in stock so we just kept it. A few months of having a new living room set, the back wood board of one side of the couch broke when sitting back on it. The wood made the material rip and it looked terrible. I called them and they said they would have someone come out to look into the repairs. Needless to say no one called me back and it never got fixed. We had to throw out a new couch. I also noticed that the label on the couch said it was from Ashley Furniture. I specifically went to Carolina furniture to get away from poor quality and get something strong. So much for that. Their furniture is poor quality with cheep processed wood. Their sales person didnt even know the difference between a headboard and a foot board and their follow through to satisfy a customers needs was terrible by not having someone come out to our home to fix the couch. I am extremely disappointed with them and I will never shop there again. I highly recommend that you be couscous if you go there but I would never recommend this store. We spent $$$$ and got terrible quality and customer service in return.

I just ran across this while I was looking up their phone number and just wanted to add my two cents here. Ive bought a house full of furniture from the Boyles, and have returned several more times over the years. Heck, Im heading BACK up there today because of the service and help Ive gotten from them in the past. Clearly my experiences there are way different from those that posted negative reviews. From my buying experience all the way through delivery & set up was great.

I bought a $2000 sofa from them, delivered to my house 11/18/2019. Within six months the leather was showing peeling. They wont call me back, they wont answer email, they wont even speak to me about the problem with my sofa. If you shop there, do not expect them to stand behind it in any way. Sorry bunch retailer, I wish I could give zero stars!

Sales people hover too much. Pump the brakes, if I need help Ill ask. Following me around the store annoys me and I dont spend money when annoyed, I just leave.

My initial experience with Carolina Furniture Mart was fantastic. The staff was helpful and the process from ordering to delivery was great.I purchased a Bassett Sectional from them and within 2 months have having the couch, one of the cushions started breaking down. I called them and asked for a replacement cushion and was told I needed to send an email with pictures in order to get the process started. I immediately did as they asked.We are now 15 months later and between the TERRIBLE customer service, “lost request for replacement, ignored phone calls, voice messages and emails, I am completely fed up and would never recommend anyone to purchase a product from them. It seems once you have the product, their customer service goes out the window.

I have always been pleased with their service and the quality of my purchases. They are a very generous company that also helps out in the community.

I have purchased furniture from Carolina Furniture Mart many times over the past 20 years, several times in the past year alone. I often find things elsewhere and they locate it for me for a fraction of the cost. They have always provided exceptional service. I had one situation this year where the mfr. sent a defective part and asked CFM to alter it, which would have been unnoticeable to most, but not me. CFM refused to do so and argued on my behalf to have it properly replaced. They (including delivery staff) are very professional, cordial, and great to work with.

CFM is not just some off the highway by the side of a mall Mega-Store, it is a family run, creatively operated down home experience. When you go, be sure to visit upstairs and see all the unique items being housed up there. Had my wife and daughter not been with me, Id probably still be there poking around. Nice funiture they do consingnment upstairs are the consigned items. Yet ur better to go and have a look around instead of asking for specifics or sales lady will not leave u to look . Just will try and sell u new furniture u can order yourself from anywhere.

I bought over 12,000.00 worth of items in one buy at over 8,000.00 and the second a two weeks later, as we relocated here. But went there to purchase another it nd asked to have it delivered and was told they dont deliver under 700, will never shop there again. No customer loyalty

There is NO customer service at this store. The owner Bud, is a patronizing,condesending man and he has no intention of offering customer service. This store may have been open since 1962, but I seriously doubt that Bud has been the owner that long - because if he has - the doors would not still be open.Carolina Furniture Mart - A HORRIBLE experience!

My husband and I ordered a Temple brand couch on December 30, 2017 from Carolina Furniture Mart. We never received the couch on the anticipated dates provided (February 15 and then March 16), could only get updates regarding our order from this company when we made multiple (20+) attempts to contact them, kept getting brushed off with a “we will call you back” without ever receiving a call back, and finally, today March 19, 2018, we called yet again (twice actually) only to be told “We cannot fill your order” with no further explanation.
