JJ Bergamo is the equivalent of a Swiss watchmaker for auto repairs. My Tacoma has over 130k miles and every time JJ Bergamo touches my truck it runs like a Swiss watch. Accurate, tight and smooth. I had previously purchased tires from JJ Bergamo back in 2019 and was very satisfied with their service, Recently I had an issue with my car where it involved a part that was out of stock nationally and it would take maybe months to get this part in and get my car repaired. Mike and his team found a way to get my car back up and running without this part and in one week! Not months! But a week! Mike and his team are amazing and very reliable. I will continue to bring my car here as well as recommended them!

My experience you ask! The lack of professionalism in this establishment is uncalled for and honestly no one should have to deal with it if they are going to spend their hard earn money. Thankfully for me I did not get to waste my money there. I called this place to find out if they can perform an AC recharge for my Honda Civic. Easy right. Especially when I could not find another place when an opening. They were able to do but he went on to specify how expensive it as if I woudnt be able to afford it. This man picks up the phone, multiple times yells how he got a lot of things going on all while Im trying to give him the info he ask of me to lock in my appt. Clearly overwhelm, he is talking to other people while trying to hear me give him my VIN number. When he couldnt focus to get the number he ask me to give it to him in Nato Phonetic Alphabet. Which I did, but he still had it wrong he went on yelling more how I couldnt do such a simple things. While I was depressed I went on to say Sr. you are being a lil rude and he hung up. Ill wait for an appointment at Honda. I dont care how great they are at fixing cars no one should be talk to like that. Word of advice, learn how to talk to people.

My BMW bumper and trunk were completely smashed. Not sure if it would ever look as beautiful again. Mike and his team not only fixed it beautifully, one could never tell it was ever damaged. Have been going here for 2 years after getting work done with a couple other shops that I did not like. Appreciated the attention to detail and reasonable pricing. Mike knows whats up, he uses premium parts, tells it how it is and gives you the information you need to know to make a good decision on what work is and is not critical. Hes an intelligent, straight up, trustworthy guy which is very rare in this industry.Most recently I went on a cross country trip and took the 2012 335ix in two days prior. I had lower control arms, new brakes, and some other smaller stuff done and the work was completed by the afternoon. My vehicle felt like it was driving on rails. My compatriot and I made it to California (3000 miles) after 39 hours straight driving. Yes thats right, non-stop, an average of 75mph across the entire United States. The car has never felt this good and I am so glad I took the advice I was given by Mike.Thanks again buddy! Tight and Right indeed.

Let me tell you that throughout my life I have purchased cars and driven them into the ground obtaining 250K-300K from each vehicle before they went to the boneyard. Ive come across many mechanics over the years from the chain automotive service centers, to dealer service centers, to mom and pop shops. Finding a good mechanic is like finding a diamond in a coal mine.My daughters 2009 Honda CRV needed a bunch of work done on it(brakes, o2 sensor, belts, tires, etc.). She drives long a long distance to college and needs the car to be safe and reliable. Mike and his team made sure the vehicle was running in top shape, and left no stone unturned. At first I was very hesitant to find a trusted shop that is certified to work on foreign cars but heard a lot of good reviews about this shop. A lot of shops I went to prior to JJ Bergamo did not want to work on my car because they said these cars are “too difficult to work with.” After speaking to the owner, Mike, he made me feel comfortable enough to leave him the car. After spending a couple of days with the car, he figured out what was wrong with it and had it running like new. I highly recommend JJ Bergamo to anyone that needs a nice, clean and trustworthy shop with fair prices. They can do what the dealerships can do but at a fraction of the price. I have been using this service center for all or our company fleet trucks and vans for years. It is refreshing to find a good shop with honest people working there. I have never had a problem with any of the work performed there on any of our vehicles and their prices are more then reasonable. recently I brought my personal car to Mike to have work done and new tires. The tires the Mike recommended to me are awesome. I have driven several different cars totaling over 500,000 miles and these are by far the best tires I have ever had under me. With this winter being as bad on the roads as it has been it was great to be able to know I can get to wherever I had to go with confidence that my car would stick to the road. The owner, Mike and his mechanic Mike were extremely helpful. I’m looking at buying a new vehicle and I had the dealership bring it by JJ Bergamo to do a full check on the car. Since the car had been sitting at the dealership so long the monitors were not working. These guys were very firm about making sure the monitors are turned on before I make a purchase. I’m going to follow their recommendation and let the dealer drive it around so the monitors turn back on - The owner Mike offered to let me bring the car back so he can check the monitors free of charge. Loved the service. These guys are very personalble and run their business with integrity. I’m not even from the area but my good friend referred me here and very happy he did.

I brought my car in this afternoon because my front bumper was only partially attached to the car and the wheel well cover was rubbing against the tire. I also needed a headlight replaced. In only a couple of hours, my car was fixed and the bill was much lower than I had anticipated. Was my first time here. I rushed over before closing to discuss my car situation and to see if I can come in the next day. Expecting to be rudely dismissed in traditional NJ fashion, I was quite surprised when Michael came out to greet me as soon as I parked my car. As I explained the problem I was having, Michael was able to finish explaining my problem before I was, he is very knowledgeable. He explained what they were gonna do in language I could understand even showed me the tires they were gonna use and explained how to tell when they were made to assure me these were NOT 10 year old tires (something someone warned me about).The next day I came in promptly at 8:30 AM and we took my car for a ride just to confirm what he thought was the problem. When we returned they did a quick assessment and returned with some recommendations. We went forward with fixing the most important issues and the work was to take about 3 hours. I started waiting in their waiting room, which was tidy with a clean restroom. The entire place was clean btw, unlike anyplace on this stretch of route 1 in NJ. Then, I took a walk around the neighborhood and stopped at the shopping center across the street which has a Kohls, Harbor Freight Tools and a Sams Club.When they were done, and after throwing in a free oil change and wipers, I went for a ride with one of the mechanics who explained what they did and have me notice a difference, which was like night and day. I paid the bill and drove off in what felt like a new car again, just as Michael promised! I love this place and will bring this Honda and my other, much older pickup here from now on. I love this place!! Im so happy with my car again!
