Please never hire the services of the store. they are deceiving. my floors are horrible because of their quality. I paid a lot of money for a labor material that I was actually cheated on. now Im going to spend a lot more to fix it. Im disappointed
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the guys at Affordable Floors! After moving into our new home, we struggled for months to find a flooring company to take on the job on literally new flooring in the entire house! We spoke with about six different companies, all who came and measured and never returned. We were recommended to Affordable Floors. They came out immediately to measure. Invited us to the showroom to pick out flooring. Came out to measure a second time and we placed the order. They crew arrived ready to work and finished the job in one day. Not only did they finish but they vacuumed the new carpets and swept all the new laminate. They left not a speck behind you would have never known they were there. Such an amazing experience. Will definitely use again and recommend ten times over! Go to Mike and Keith they’re amazing!
I never recommends this shop they will cheat you in any way
This company is very meticulous in their work. I’m really pleased with how quick and well our floors came along. I would absolutely hire them again
They owe me a lot of money
Asked for top of the line hardwood floor Paid top dollar for select and better It was awful None of the pieces were cut even on height, width, thickness. Nothing lined up. It cost double time to sand down and had to use wood filler. Everybody knows how wood filler looks on new floor Do not recommend this place for hardwood floors Even Home Depot would have been better
Good flooring for cheap. Cant find a better price anywhere else.
I was overcharged $800 (around 200 square feet of extra carpet) on a carpet install because the salesman measured wrong. Ill take part of the blame for not catching it at the time of signing the proposal but what really bothers me is they never left the extra carpet that I was overcharged for. Spoke to the owner Keith and agreed to split the cost so I ended up paying an extra $400 instead of $800. I only agreed to paying it because I knew they had a signed contract that would be hard to dispute but feel they should have only charged me what they actually used and installed. Their quality is good and workmanship is good so just dont make the same mistake I did and be sure to get multiple quotes to make sure your getting a correct quote.
Not Affordable at all :D
Very good.... buying carpeting from them for over 10 years Im a landlord
We recently decided to upgrade our kitchen and required a continuation of our oak flooring into that space. Affordable was very wonderful to work with! Not only did we get a new oak floor in the kitchen we had all of the floors and stairs sanded and stained to match. The men were in and out in a very timely manner and were very professional. We loved this store so much that we went on to carpet the second floor with Mohawk Smartstrand and we were just as plesed with the service, professionalism and quality of workmanship that we received. We love Affordable Floors!
Dont buy area rug wayy too expensive no returns and they dont stamp policy until after payment.. Area rugs for a lot cheaper same quality down the street and/or Elizabeth.. Very upset with them cause I got ripped off!
The sales person Trevor was excellent, he was very professional and timely since he came to my home to measure my staircase for carpet. The install was totally unacceptable and certainly not customer friendly. There was no communication to me that the service person would not be a my home as promised at 9am. I left a message with the store at 9:30, knowing that the store did not open till 10am. I called back at 10:30 only to find out it would be another hour before this person would arrive. I had to reschedule for tomorrow since I also have appointments to keep. . Would not recommend or use this company again.
The worst company ever! Do NOT ever use them for any kind of flooring. It took me over one month to get my floors finished and its still not completed properly. They do not answer the phone and when they do no one has any answers as to why the work isnt completed.
Great customer service and awesome deals! Drove in from Brooklyn and it was well worth it.
I had Affordable Floors install a bamboo floor on a slab in my family room last June (2013). About Aug 2013 two boards buckled up approx. 2 inches. They came and replaced the boards, they said I had a moisture problem, run a dehumidifier. About Oct 2013 two different boards buckled, they said they are not going to repair the floor its my problem, again moisture. When I investigated the manufactures installation instructions they clearly state the installer must check the slab for moisture and seal the slab or use moisture blocking adhesive. I asked if the slab was checked for moisture and what the readings where, we dont have that information, was a moisture blocking adhesive used, the response was, Im not arguing with you about this any longer, Its your problem.I borrowed a dehumidifier and ran it continually for two weeks and did not extract any moisture at all. Also, we have forced hot air heat with no humidifier and central air. We also have hardwood flooring in the living room and dining room, no problems.I also looked at some of the flooring associations They all say use a moisture barrier. I now have to replace the whole floor at an additional cost of over $3000. The new floor installers indicate that its a shame the floor was not installed properly, whenever they install a wood or bamboo floor on a slab they always put down an epoxy sealer and a moisture blocking adhesive.I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I submitted a complaint to the BBB they responded that the moisture is my problem BBB complaint listed as unresolved. So, my only recourse is to post reviews, and file a NJ consumer affairs complaint.
Always friendly, professional, very knowledgeable and great prices
