I’m new to NJ as I recently moved to the area. I was looking for the perfect cake for my baby’s first birthday and let me tell you that I’m glad I came upon Cinderella bakery. I did not get a chance to taste their cakes before placing my order so I took a chance on them and it paid off. I ordered a tres leches cake with a fresh fruit filling and that cake was so delicious. It really made my daughters birthday to have a delicious cake. The cake was perfectly moist and just the right amount of sweet and the Minnie Mouse picture was so cute and exactly what I wanted. This is from now on my go to spot for cakes 😁

I’m a little disappointed. & i don’t personally like giving reviews but several days later I’m still upset about it. I ordered a cake about 5 days before my dads birthday (he doesn’t live in state anymore) so i wanted to do something big for him. I didn’t choose a crazy design given the time that it was 5 days before the party. They’ve done my sweet 16 cake and it looked IDENTICAL to the photos. 5 layer cake, beautiful can’t complain. That’s why i came back. I went, discussed the cake etc. she said the first photo i showed her (an entire fish body jumping out of water) would take to long to make and wasn’t sure if they could do it so she wanted me to see if i can find a fake toy fish to put on top. I didn’t want to do that because i wanted everything edible. So i showed her a second photo (not even half of a fish’s body, picture below) and she said they could do it and informed i wanted more beach vibes too. Which was good. I also specified i wanted it for 25-30 people and that’s exactly what was written on my receipt. Overall when i got the cake i immediately shut down. They used small toy fish, for the top of the cake and the side. Added some edible sand (sprinkles etc) and some leaves on the side. The gone fishing sign was straight cardboard covered with fondant. Nothing was edible but the cake. The cake ALSO did not even feed 20 people. Everyone complained it was dry, as if it wasn’t fresh and was sitting out for a couple of days. It was embarrassing for me to have spent $155 on a cake like that for a big event.. i couldn’t even feed everyone mind you the slices were already thin enough. I came back here bc they did a marvelous job with my sweet 16 cake. It is what it is, at least we had cake but it did anger me to know we didn’t feed the whole party while it stated for 25/30 people. You can see in the picture that sure doesn’t feed that many lmao… i don’t want to sound rude but it definitely was a waste of money and i don’t bake but i would have rather done it myself… nothing was edible. If the fish & other things were at least edible or fondant i would’ve been happy. But it seems so unorganized and just thrown together. I feel like they were super lazy with the cake.

Excellent food. Wonderful service. When I started working from home instead of commuting into the city, I was worried about where I will eat every day. I walked around the corner and found this quaint little bakery that I never knew was here. I have to say they make the best sandwiches ever. If you live local, I highly recommend stopping in and getting a Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese. It was the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Not kidding. Give it a try😀

My family and i always get their croissants and apple pie type bread very fresh and of course very delicious highly recommend !!!

I’ve gotten my granddaughters birthday cakes there. Custom made. They do beautiful work and there cakes are delicious. So happy they’re right down the street from me. Highly recommend them🙌🏽♥️

Very bad attention, I had a cake made 4 days before, I specified the color and model and when I saw the cake the model and color were different, I complained and the person got spoiled and they gave me back the money throwing it on the table. I dont have birthday cake, and I got a bad aptitude from the workers

I first chose this bakery based on the reviews. I ordered a cake for my sisters baby shower. This was a big deal because my sister is a dessert person. I couldnt mess this up. EVERYONE raved about the cake at the shower. It was beautiful. Exactly how I imagined it. And delicious!!! My sister loved it so much she asked me to go to your bakery for the babys first birthday cake. I just placed the order today and I cant wait to see the results!! As I was waiting I checked the fridge and saw a gorgeous graduation cake as well as adorable unicorn cupcakes. This bakery is amazing. Trust them for your special occasion!!

Had called and they were open until 3 and they closed at 1. Clearly see people inside and they are ignoring us. Completely ruined the day.

Hi, firstly if I could give this place no stars I would. My little sister worked there for almost 2 years and was treated with little to no respect. She was constantly covering shifts yet she was being underpaid and being paid under the table. Her boss treated her horribly. And had no respect for her, even during a pandemic she didnt have the decency to lay my sister off. She had her work about 2 shifts and never texted her again. And instead she replaced my sister without notice. My 17 year old sister was the one that had to reach out! And unprofessionally her boss Rosa let her know she should look for a new job. Had my sister not reached out she wouldnt know. It was Rosas job to notify my sister or maybe give her shifts instead of hiring someone new. Also she yelled at my sister for throwing away old bacon so please think again before spending your money here, theres way better bakeries around here like Two Costas or Pinhos.

The girl working was so nice and great to talk to, very welcoming. I was visiting Jersey to see my bf family. I had an ice coffee light and sweet. Tasted great!! Food looks amazing have to get food next time!

Very affordable for a light lu ch or dessert. I like their ice coffee. The flavor is light. The tuns salad on a croissant made a filling lunch. Service is excellent. Rosita took time to answer all my questions. The one disappointment were the cookies. I bought a $7 box from the store. They had little flavor even though they looked very good.

Since the past couple of years I’ve ordered both my sons and daughters birthday cakes from Cinderellabakery and they nailed it every single time cakes are fresh and delicious and Look exactly like the pictures I sent to them great place

Cute, small unique bakery with a very patient and giving staff. This location has donated to several local events for our church. I make sure to support this small business after mass. Good for light breakfast or lunch.

Came here to order a cake for my boyfriends bday and was not pleased. I called a head to make an appointment only to come in and have the manager address me as if I was bothering him. He had no clue of the appointment it seemed and didn’t even want to sit down with me to talk about my order. He rushed me out without any real details. I just left and went to Bella’s in Elizabeth. This bakery needs way better customer service . Sucks you lost a profitable customer. I plan parties and banquets for my job and this bakery will never be on our retainer now .

Twice I have called to get pricing and information on a cake and twice I have been told to call another time. At this point, I dont even know if they actually sell cakes anymore. Ive been told they make good cakes so maybe its just the staff that sucks.

I went to buy a tres leches cake that my daughter was on Friday 11/16 birthday, the surprise was that it was not tres leches and I informed her and one of the girl told me that it was tres leches and I brought her a piece because I I threw it away, for my part, I no longer buy in other times, I could not recommend it now.
