I made an appointment a week ago for a hitch install for an important trip this Friday. I called in to make a change to my appointment, when I also learned that they did not expect to have my particular hitch in stock, but would call me back about a location where I could pick it up, or let me know if they could have it overnighted to their location. I never got a call back, and every time I tried calling them, I had to wait on hold for 45 minutes. Now, 2 days before my trip, I am scrambling to get this done. Kudos to the last lady on the phone, who actually gave me a straight answer and even looked for other locations that might have one, and helped me with the refund.

Very poor service. I dont recommended. Dont go to there. I was wait 4 hrs for rent. Poor costumer service

It’s a simple and small location, but it does the job. The team/staff seems stretched but still able to provide good customer service.

You cannot get help on the phone, unless you have 45 minutes to an hour to be on hold! If they give you a 100% guarantee want you need will be ready and available when you want it and WHERE you want it, do not believe it. No help, no service from this company! Go elsewhere!!!!

We needed a 6/ 12 trailer, in New York, I was told they do not rent one way 6-12 anywhere in U-hual Company, I had a reservation in Staten Island on Richmond Street for the 24 of June for a 5/8. They lost my Reservation, I had to call the Main 800 number and was told the had one way rental, WOW

Renters be ware!!When you rent from this location check your receipt for fraudulent charges!I rent from many locations and never had an issue. However, these guys tried to sneak in off hour processing fee, even though I followed instructions given when I picked the truck up - always the same.

This is a professional, caring & very helpful staffed location. Their products, locks, wrap, boxes are priced very reasonable. Im a Senior on a fixed income & I was able to rent a vehicle & purchase locks without any stress to my budget. I highly recommend their services for your self-moving needs.

Today I returned U Haul truck to this shop after moving to NJ from NY. Everything was fast and nice. Working hours are convenient: they are open early morning and on holidays. Personnel is professional and friendly. Would like to use their service again.

Bad service and wasting peoples time. After booking a hitch installation through U-Haul website/shared services center this location rejected the service contract because I brought my own Curt Brand hitch. This was clearly specified in the service request but the employee indicated he will not install unless the hitch was bought from them and did not recognized the U-Haul service representative that booked the contract. Additionally the installation appointment was @ 11AM and the mechanic was not even there at 1130AM. Wasted time and gas. Stay away from U-Haul for hitch installations unless you are willing to pay their higher prices. Also pls ensure you call first to avoid wasting your time.

Customer service was impeccable. Very thorough in making sure you understand your options. I recommend this location which also has in stock all the extra amenities needed for moving. Dollies, boxes, tape, trolleys etc.

Paid for 2 hours labor on 1 hour and 11 minutes for hitch install..was quoted over phone for a price based on 1.7 hours.beware

As far as getting a truck I can say pretty good. We received a call that made me really nervous, they didnt have our truck available. But they do have a reimbursement for this inconvenience. Once we returned the call, they had the truck available. Down side would have to be their call center...I tried to get a storage with them, yet I couldnt get the actual storage and the lady who assisted me was pretty nasty. Rushed me and couldnt answer any of my questions. She said she would have someone call back, which they did but by then I already found alternate storage. The service for the truck was good. Fast and cheap. Clean and it had AC which is good in this heat.

Nice place. Have been renting trailers for my track days from them for a while. Angeline and Nexie are very good at what they do and helped me out with some scheduling issues.

Customer service was great, the women was friendly and helpful. The deal I got was great I did not feel like I spent alot of money renting it for a day. It was easy to rent the truck, I was not waiting all day to get things done. The truck held all of my things and was easy to drive also ot was clean.

We got the truck in minutes. We were even late bringing the truck back (we called to let them know, of course), and they were very understanding. Great customer service.

They need more staff on the weekends. Had this one kid killing himself alone. He was doing everything for the customers. But he was very polite. Other then that the service was smooth and reasonable.

There arent any care or concern for customers who rent storage at this location. On numerous occasion, I expressed my concern that was whenever it rain it would travel into my unit. My item had water damage. This would have been avoided but it seems that this issue was ongoing prior to. Customers ought to be informed of serious as such beforehand not allow issues such as to be a problem for customers such as damages to their valuables. The insurance customers pay into doesnt cover their valuables.

Clean,person who help the costumer is good.but dont know how effective are at the moment to pick up the equipments.ill hope be lucky.

Have used this place about 6 times in the past 10 years. Never had a problem. The only complaint I have is they dont have more people helping especially on busy days like Saturdays. We have never had a bad truck or experience. We are using them again soon and expect the same. If not, i will change my review. Good luck movers.

Great customer service through the phone and at the actual location. Gary assisted me on the phone to reserve a truck and the front end at the location was kind enough to walk me out and guide me to where to park my car.

Two days before a move from NJ to MD we were informed our truck would be available for pickup from their Parsippany location. When I complained, I was told a manager would be in contact. I never received a call, and had to make other arrangements. If I could give it one star I would. See the review at the Parsippany location for the next part of my horrible experience.

The worst place the manager is a heavy and it does not help you to mount your car to the trailer and the very small space I do not recommend

We usually do not have an issue at this location but today service was horrible.We were told they had ZERO rentals available same day, and nothing would be available until Sunday. I went right online and reserved a vehicle for today.I called to confirm my reservation and to inquire about paying cash.. The man says yes, you can pay cash. We go to pick up the vehicle and now he says $100.00 deposit. I said that is why I called in advance to get details regarding the rental. He then lies AGAIN and said I didnt speak to him.IN ADDITION MY HUSBAND JUST DISCOVERED WE PAID FOR A DOLLY AND THE MAN DIDNT LOAD IT.HIS RESPONSE: MY BADIF IT ISNT THE REGULAR LADYDO NOT RENT FROM THEM.WE HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

If i could give 0 stars i would. Never come to this location, the manager Erica has NO desire to help her customers. The dolly i rented had a damaged tire and she did not inspect it. If i had gotten into an accident because of this and someone was her it would have been Ericas fault. After realizing this saftey issue i suggested taking another wheel and putting it on the dolly and she said i could not do this because they didnt have tools. I told her i had the tools and was willing to change them and then she kept making excuses as to why i cant do it. She expected me to drive 20 miles away to get another dolly and she refused to allow me to speak to her superior. Never use uhaul and if you do dont come to this location. She should be fired for failure of customer support

They gave me less than a half a tank of gas . I took a picture of it and they said they gave me more gas and still charged me . Ill never use the uhaul in linden again. I told all my family, friends and colleagues about this place. We will not br doing business with this place ever again.
